My wife Jadhken and I bought MoveBright in February of 2020. When we were presented with the opportunity to purchase the company, we thought it was too good to be true. The former owners built a reputable moving company that had stood out among the competition and we were being given a chance to sustain and grow MoveBright into the premier moving company of Northeast Florida. The decision for us was a simple one and so after more than 20 years in the customer service and sales industry, we made the leap into small business ownership. I was born into a military family, living in Germany until the age of 12, when my family moved back to North East Florida. Jadhken grew up in Olathe, KS and came to Jacksonville on a full scholarship to play basketball for the University of North Florida. She graduated from UNF with her BSN and is currently a registered NICU nurse. We met at church and were married in Jamaica in the summer of 2015. We currently live in Jacksonville, Florida and have been blessed with two sweet and lively children, Cyrus and Zoe. When we bought MoveBright we knew that there was a negative perception of the moving industry. We had heard the stories of many people who were mistreated by other moving companies and we knew that we wanted MoveBright to be different. We couldn’t wait to get started and provide our community with a better alternative. Moving can be one of the most challenging and stressful times in a person’s life. At MoveBright, we know that customer service can make all the difference. We care just as much about eliminating the stress of the move by providing an unmatched level of customer service as we do about easing the process of moving from one house to the next. Our aim with MoveBright is to go above and beyond with every customer, helping to serve you however we can and treating you with the utmost kindness every step of the way. As life-long basketball players, Jadhken and I understand the power of teamwork, discipline, and endurance.
