I have moved a handful of times in my adult life but I have never had the daunting experience of packing up 44 years of a life and split it between a smaller home and storage like I did when my mom passed and my dads alchemists made it necessary to place him in a memory care unit. I had no idea what to do, not only did they have 44 years of stuff in the house but 44 years of crap piled up in the garage. Amelia helped me every step of the way going above and beyond having the crew at my house, loading the truck, stopping at my storage unit, bringing the remaining items to my new home and lastly returning to my parents house to remove the junk from the garage(a task that gave me so much anxiety because I had no idea where to start). The crew did it all in a quick, friendly, manner showing such care for our belongings. I Dont ever want to move again but if I have to you can be sure I will call Amelia and the team at United Family Movers to get the job done. They earned a customer for life! Read More

I had to move some heavy/delicate items from my in-laws house in Lighthouse Point to Fort Lauderdale and Chelsea explained the process, Luis coordinated the movers and made sure every item was packed and moved efficiently. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Save your money. These guys were not only 1/2 high but were highly unprofessional. They had 0 care for my furniture (see pictures). I overpaid because they were not hourly so I figured they wouldn't rush but boy was I wrong. They carried a ton of my furniture right on the ground, didn't wrap anything. As you can imagine a lot of our furniture was scratched, torn, damaged etc. I spoke with the owner and he asked me to file a claim and wait 6-8 weeks. After I waited he finally got back to me and said he would be willing to give me $100 for my items. Over $6,000 in damages but he offered $100. See the conversations attached. Then he decided to go ghost and stopped replying to all my texts. PLEASE learn from my mistake and don't work with these people. Read More
