Once again, I found myself in the midst of a move, and as anyone who's dealt with movers knows, it can be quite unpredictable. I've had mixed experiences in the past. However, my experience with United American Moving and Storage, was notably positive from the very start.
Having gone through the moving process before, I had a checklist in mind of what to inquire about during our initial conversation. My consultant proved to be excellent in providing all the necessary information without me even having to ask specific questions. Daniel, essentially covered all the bases during our discussion.
The pricing was reasonable, falling somewhere in the middle range compared to other quotes I had received. When the movers arrived, they did an excellent job wrapping and protecting all my belongings to ensure nothing was damaged during the move. Since my move was relatively sizable, I was fortunate to have my furniture delivered quicker than the usual timeline, which was a definite plus.

I had a really great experience with United American Moving and Storage. The people who helped me move were super professional, especially Daniel and Vladimir, who did an awesome job moving all my stuff in just under an hour. It was my first time using a moving company, and I'm really happy I chose them.

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing service provided by United American Moving and Storage. Initially, we had booked a local moving company called Pre**** Movers to relocate us from NH to TX on June 2nd, 2023. The owner, P****, and his sales representative, Z***, visited our apartment in Hampton to provide an estimate and sign a contract. They assured us that they frequently handled long-distance moves and everything would be taken care of. They mentioned a pickup time of 7am to 9am and estimated a delivery date for our new home in TX.
Fast forward to the Wednesday before the scheduled move, the owner called to inform us that he had lost another shipment that was supposed to be transported along with ours, as our load wasn't significant enough. As a courtesy, he mentioned that our belongings would still be picked up on time but would be delivered three weeks later, only if he could find another household to combine with our shipment. We were furious and panicking, especially since we had pets to transport and couldn't afford to wait for three additional weeks without our belongings.
We tried to reach out to the owner and sales representative the following day but received no response. Frantically, we contacted several local movers but couldn't find anyone available on such short notice. In desperation, I visited the Pre**** Movers' office and spoke to the secretary, who informed me that they rarely drove to TX and doubted if they had ever done so.
During my conversation with the secretary, she called the owner, P****, who refused to speak with me and claimed he had the flu. She offered to still pick up our things on Monday and ship them whenever they found another large load going in our direction. We found this unacceptable, disrespectful, and unprofessional.
To our relief, we then reached out to United American Moving and Storage. A friendly representative assured us that they could deliver our belongings on the following Monday. Two small Relocubes were placed in front of our apartment in NH, and the professional movers efficiently loaded our belongings. We didn't mind not being present during the process, as we were embarking on a long road trip.
United American Moving and Storage stayed in touch, sending texts and making a courtesy call one hour before delivering the Relocubes. The delivery was punctual and hassle-free, with the cubes placed exactly where we wanted them. We loaded everything to capacity and notified United American Moving and Storage using a simple link. They successfully transported our belongings from NH to TX, and upon arrival, the movers unpacked and unloaded the truck and the container. The cubes were picked up on Wednesday without us being present.
United American Moving and Storage truly saved the day. Their customer service was excellent, and they lived up to their promises by being reliable and punctual. The best move ever!
I hate moving, the worst thing ever to me, I absolutely hate it!
I now also have a new Yamaha grand piano to move, which is far to heavy and expensive for me to move, so I called Danny at United American Moving And Storage
They informed me that they also did quality whole house moves, so I jumped at the chance.
I was thrilled not to have to use two companies, one for the home move and one for the piano ( I learned the hard way on needing pros for the piano move). They came in mass, packed me up, moved me into my new house and put everything away. I did very little other than direct them where to put things. Nothing was broken or damaged in any way, and I am now nested nicely in my new house.
The guys while working told me they are pros and while talking to them, they informed me that between the 4 of them they have over 77 years of piano moving experience.
This is what moving should be, I always moved myself in the past, asked for help from friends, rented trucks and bought food and still just a horrible experience and in Florida with the summer heat and storms so this time I opted for Pro's.
