I used this company to move a total of 4 pieces of furniture approximately 25 minutes distance. Not only did it cost over $500, my furniture was ruined and my brand new build home was destroyed. Worst move ever! A truly horrible experience, I got many quotes, Two men and a truck weren't the cheapest or the most expensive, $1060 to move 3 bedroom sets, washer & dryer, dining table, a flat screen TV and a tool box, 3 guys 1 truck, 6.5 hrs, but they ended up only taking 4 hrs because I was upset, I think they wanted to get out fast. My mom used their ft. lauderdale branch and had no issues. I packed and moved all my smaller items, mirrors and paintings, only needed help with the big stuff. So when I spoke to Patricia, I explained I had a solid wood lacquer finished dining table with a leaf and top that could be detached to make it lighter $3500, I also have a completely mirrored king sized bedroom set, $6000, and that special care would need to be taken with it, she said oh yes we will professionally wrap it. My wrapping supplies quote came up to $66 which include bubble wrap, mirror boxes, mattress bags. The movers showed up with moving blankets and tape, that's all they used to wrap my stuff, I told them about detaching the table top, they said no need, they struggled to flip it and then dented and scuffed the corner, they drug my bedroom set down the stairs and then put the pieces on a hand cart I could hear them flexing and cracking, they said no don't worry, one guy shimmied my washer and dryer out of the laundry room and scratched them taking paint off and denting the walls, they bumped my white & chrome king headboard all over the walls and stair rails, my husband had to help them finish bring it down and then when we got to my other house they were asked several times to take it apart, 3 screws hold each side together! They refused to disassemble it and kept trying to squeeze a 6x3 square head board with metal canopy through regular front and sliding doors, they are buffoons, I was so stressed, then they tried to leave without unwrapping or reassembling my items, saying we could have the blankets because they didn't pay for them, really? I feel they knew my items were damaged and tried to leave before we could see them. So we told them no, unwrap them so we could see everything, and we paid for them to be reassembled, in the end I just wanted them out my house, they only reassembled my bed and left. We have to repaint and patch walls at both houses, my bedroom set is ruined, both mirrored night stands cracked, mirrored dresser cracked in multiple places, drawer knobs bent, chrome canopy dented in multiple places, dining room table top scuffed and dented! I can't imagine what would of happened if I had let them moved all my other delicate items. Then they have a bull**** clause about .60/lbs coverage for damaged items! I spoke with the manager Mike that same day while the movers were there about my damaged items and he said they would do a report and have someone call, 3 days later and he calls my husband to discuss the items damaged and oh yeah my credit card declined when he tried to run it for payment. If I could give this company a negative five stars, I would totally do it!!! I have moved three times in the past two years because we are military & returned from out of state. So I have encountered a number of different companies, and moving resources and paid a variety of costs for each. This company is THE WORST I have ever encountered. One of the movers showed up in what appeared to be dress shoes and immediately bitched about my patio & dogs, then insulted my home and me off the bat. This followed a lengthy call to a supervisor when he insisted it wasn't on his paper to move anything but five items so he couldn't do anything further. Clearly, if I had five items I would most likely opt for a more economical solution. The part that made me angriest was that despite the other fellow being reassuring, delightful, and pleasant, they needed me to micro-manage their every move the entire day on what to pack, and we literally needed to go ONE STOP ON I-95 & I had a townhouse, so why it even took the length of time it did is most likely due to the pace they kept which was clearly just riding the clock at a sloth's speed. Then, I told them to move A WHOLE PILE OF FURNITURE & BOXES in both mine and my son's room before having to leave to let out the dogs, they didn't show up for a full hour from the previous place, and when I returned to do a walk through, left everything as it was when I asked more than once politely and clearly what I needed done. I get it that moving is grueling & I could have been more organized but honestly that's why you pay the big bucks. So one, they were rude, two, they were lazy & inefficient, three, they didn't complete the job, four, they weren't up front with their quote of the costs after the fact nor during the day & gave no disclosure of a sneaky little limited liability form they have you sign so they have no incentive other than not to go out of business, to care how your service was, they will still grossly be overpaid. Five, and MOST OF ALL: THEY BROKE MY 55" SHARP AQUOS FLAT SCREEN TV, only 2 yrs old and working AS WITNESSED BY THE MOVERS WITH THE SCREENSAVERS PRIOR TO THEIR REMOVAL FROM MY HOME. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL MOVERS AND COULD NOT HANDLE A SINGLE HIGH PRICED ELECTRONIC TO MOVE IT ONE EXIT AWAY. Would you want these people handling your fragile items...??? Or nice furniture that you invested a King's Ransom in??? So I filed a claim when I turned on the tv and screen was completely bonkers starting at a point where you could obviously tell something had struck the screen to manually damage the internal components, and this super friendly guy Mike calls me to basically blow smoke up my ass that he cares and intends to follow through when in actuality they slip in a limited liability clause preventing them from claims not caused by "manual damage." So the first day he's totally convincing it's a simple process send the picture, get whatever documents together, & we'll go forward with the claim. The following day I received a completely different but same friendly tone stating he "reviewed it with other internal" shot callers or whoever was by the water cooler & they decided that it wasn't considered "manual damage" because there was no broken glass or dings or physically visible damage outside of the entire half of the screen now looking like when my five year old son pile-drived my MacBook in the screen one day. Went to Geek Squad at Best Buy where I bought it to scoop the receipt and get their take, and they of course concurred, but now I'm stuck paying $100 to get in writing from them that is confirmed manually damaged and the estimate to fix it, at which point I'm fairly certain Good Guy Mike already has the script ready to go on how it was my liability and responsibility they broke my tv!!!! PLEASE GO with anyone other this company, I have never seen the layers of crap so deeply as this place goes. I hope this review helps despite the longevity but honestly AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! All I can say is BOOO - Shaky fist!!! For the record I'm not some scammer I even threw out to Mike that I would accept a tv of lesser value as a replacement so long as it was relatively the same size, and he pretty much told me some legal clause prevented damage and then went into their bullshit default protection for "manual damage" that rewards by the pound...? Meaning they use a completely incomprehensible method of assessing their monetary liability, so perhaps if it had been a 60 lb pot of horse manure, & they jacked it up I'd receive more than the $32 they assessed my tv was worth... dude I paid over $600-$700 on a move from an apt to one exit away & sufficeth to say it is crap how they resolved this or didn't rather, I'm still calling Best Buy to get someone in here to confirm what caused the damage but I will NEVER USE THIS ROTTEN COMPANY AGAIN & will advise anyone I know or love who is moving the same...
