Two Men and a Truck West Orlando Moving Stories

This company is a disgrace to good honest movers. Wife and i hired them to move our stuff from NJ to Orlando. With my first contact with them by phone i thought i made a good choice. Made me feel my stuff would be safe, secure and cared for. Well this all changed when our stuff arrived. To start they expect you to sign for your belongings without even getting it unloaded from the truck. Then you dont even get an inventory control sheet to keep track of your items, wich are all numbered with little blue stickers. While unloading our belongings i saw a tall narrow box that said broken lamp. Confused i rushed to open it cause i kniw i didnt pack a broken lamp. Turns out that a family aierloom lamp was broken. When i asked the movers about it they exclaimed it was already broken when we got it. I told them absolutely not i have photos of that lamp prior to leaving NJ. After speaking to the manager here in the local office i was told there is nothing he can do. So i called the nj location and now getting excuses from both sides. After arguing with them both the l9cal manager decides the movers will stop unloafing and leave with my stuff. Yes there was a brief dispute on having to pay money again. I was misinformed the i paid the balance when stuff was picked up. So sheriffs arrive and finally get the manager to finish the unloading my stuff. During this time we show the workers and sheriffs the lamp and ask for a report to be done. The one in charge didnt seem to understand how valuable they are. After showing all of them a matched up lamp they seen it for 100K. Prior to the move i made sure the person booking our move LIZ understood tbese lamps are old and i have no way to pack them uo safely. I was informed not to worry it will taken care of and rest assurebthey will be safe. Well the one lamp was busted into over 50 little pieces. Now nobody wants to take any kind of responsibilty for this issue. Still going through my stuff and not sure if anything packed is broke or missing. We are very disappointed with the service that we got from this company. There was so much damage to multiple big furniture items and that's simply not okay. We paid a lot of money for this service thinking that the movers would treat the items with care but that's not what we got at all.
There were damages to the dining table, couch, armchair, and a few smaller items. We saw how the movers were treating our furniture and we were shocked when they were kicking the pillows around with their dirty shoes, banging furniture on the wall as they moved it and they also tried to hide the damaged sides of furniture when they placed it at the new apartment. We told them to be careful with the furniture multiple times but they ignored us. We will not be using this service ever again. We tried to file a damage claim and it's taking forever to get a hold of someone. Read More

Defaulted on their contract!! We were quoted 75 boxes and 116 items, three men and one truck by Taylor Belardinelli for appx $1200. I have the invoice to show the details on exactly what they were supposed to move. When they arrived the movers went right to work. Each one did a great job packing the furniture being I had already packed all the boxes and broke down the furniture. By 12 pm, one mover asked, "What would you like us to prioritize because the truck is almost full". Odd, being over half the furniture they were contracted to move was still in the house (as the photos will show). He claimed they should have had one more truck and more movers. He said the manager will not adjust or fix anything without a revaluation. So, we spent the entire weekend moving all the remaining furniture ourselves spending way more money than budgeted for. We called up and down the chain looking for answers and everyone brushed us off. Bottom line, they contracted 75 boxes and 116 items - zero boxes were moved and only half the furniture was moved AND that took them ALL day to do it. They are paid by the hour, keep that in mind. I recently had the responsibility to relocate a large number of offices at one of my Florida facilities. I contacted Two Men and a Truck to assist in the move, although nothing was leaving the property there were a number of challenges in regards to relocating multiple office to multiple areas of the plant while minimizing any disruptions to the business. After speaking with a representative and reviewing the type and number of items that was scheduled to be move I was able to ascertain a budgetary number and contingency pricing if the volume changed. I felt pretty good about the pricing and scheduled the move on a relatively short notice. I received a follow up call asking if I could be available to meet with one of their customer representatives onsite to review the project prior to the crew arriving to ensure the correct resources were deployed. After meeting and discussing the entire scope of work I made a decision to revise the plan and split the move into two separate phases the first phase being a much simpler move but splitting up the move would lessen any disruptions and take the pressure off some of the employee who were relocating to new areas of the plant. The driver called me the morning of the first move and gave me an estimated time of arrival which matched up with the time we had originally scheduled. One truck arrived with three very professional employees, they introduced themselves we reviewed the plan and they went to work - no doubt these guys are well trained in preparing the furniture for the move and on how to lift and utilize all the moving equipment to ensure there is no damage to the furnishings. I adjusted somethings on the fly and we agreed on the additional charges prior to move forward which the final billing reflected when I was billed the balance of phase one.
A few weeks later as schedule the crews arrived to complete the scope of the project, again prior to their arrival I received a call giving me an accurate estimated time of arrival. Right on time two trucks arrived with a crew six after a short meeting to review the plan they again went to work - they worked as a team and it seemed everyone knew what everyone else was doing. Knowing the amount of work that was before us I was concern about running out of time so I pulled one of the leads aside to discuss - he reassured me they would stay until the work was completed and told me they don't really take breaks or lunch they just push through until everything is done. Well we started at 8:00 AM and placed the last piece of furniture in place after 9:00 PM. I was offered a hand shake and a signed work order then an assurance that I was satisfied with the work performed and if there were any items that I needed addressed prior to their departure. I can not express how impressed I am with this company and the employees that worked on my project. I received a follow up call after everything was closed out. I don't know how I could of made a better decision than to have contracted Two Men and a Truck I would not hesitate to contact them again in the future if I have a need that requires true professionals or to made a recommendation to my friends and business associates. After speaking with a representative and reviewing the type and number of items that was scheduled to be move I was able to ascertain a budgetary number and contingency pricing if the volume changed. I felt pretty good about the pricing and scheduled the move on a relatively short notice. I received a follow up call asking if I could be available to meet with one of their customer representatives onsite to review the project prior to the crew arriving to ensure the correct resources were deployed. After meeting and discussing the entire scope of work I made a decision to revise the plan and split the move into two separate phases the first phase being a much simpler move but splitting up the move would lessen any disruptions and take the pressure off some of the employee who were relocating to new areas of the plant. The driver called me the morning of the first move and gave me an estimated time of arrival which matched up with the time we had originally scheduled. One truck arrived with three very professional employees, they introduced themselves we reviewed the plan and they went to work - no doubt these guys are well trained in preparing the furniture for the move and on how to lift and utilize all the moving equipment to ensure there is no damage to the furnishings. I adjusted somethings on the fly and we agreed on the additional charges prior to move forward which the final billing reflected when I was billed the balance of phase one.
A few weeks later as schedule the crews arrived to complete the scope of the project, again prior to their arrival I received a call giving me an accurate estimated time of arrival. Right on time two trucks arrived with a crew six after a short meeting to review the plan they again went to work - they worked as a team and it seemed everyone knew what everyone else was doing. Knowing the amount of work that was before us I was concern about running out of time so I pulled one of the leads aside to discuss - he reassured me they would stay until the work was completed and told me they don't really take breaks or lunch they just push through until everything is done. Well we started at 8:00 AM and placed the last piece of furniture in place after 9:00 PM. I was offered a hand shake and a signed work order then an assurance that I was satisfied with the work performed and if there were any items that I needed addressed prior to their departure. I can not express how impressed I am with this company and the employees that worked on my project. I received a follow up call after everything was closed out. I don't know how I could of made a better decision than to have contracted Two Men and a Truck I would not hesitate to contact them again in the future if I have a need that requires true professionals or to made a recommendation to my friends and business associates.
