DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They do not take responsibility for the companies they hire to move you! My move from San Diego to New York was a disaster after the first call (when Jay Cummings) when they were nice until I signed with them! After that call, they were rude with no follow up. I tried getting out of my contract but couldn't. So they charge me thousands more the day of moving because their estimate was off. Then my belongings sat in a parking lot in Arizona for over a month... all the while lying to me about were my things were. When they finally arrived, I was missing major items- family heirlooms, clothes, shoes, fishing poles, marble tops for table, toys, beach chairs etc. and no one will reply, help, etc. apparently, Trinity hired Mission Transportation, mission hired east/west and east/west was never paid! So therefore, I cannot get help or reimbursed for missing items! Where is Jay now? He called me 17 times to get the sale but not one follow up when i was inquiring about my missing/damaged items. Where was jay when the van pulled up and my fathers ashes where broken and on the floor of the van- they opened the sealed box and where on the floor!? No where. I had to give back items from another family that were not mine - they did not organize anything- but no one did that for me. One side of the van was for items they held off to the side (which they would not let me try to look for my things) that they did not deliver or know where they belonged! I am reasonable and understand broken items- but I do not understand missing items. I have moved cross country several times- and never had an issue before. I could not get Allied in time because of Covid and their schedule and I paid dearly. I do not understand this company's lack of honesty and integrity and doing the right thing. I GIVE TRINITY VAN LINE A ZERO!! This is by far the worst service I have ever received. We were given a pick up date from Illinois of May 24th-May 25th with a delivery estimate date of May 27th to Colorado. My son has just been stationed in Colorado and his pregnant wife flew in on the 27th. They are now living in an apartments with nothing. They are sleeping air mattresses on the floor. I would upload the agreement, but I am unable to. I have sent text messages and received no response. I did receive a call and the lady says she was a manager...very unprofessional... granted I was not very polite...I was told one thing and 4 days later still no pick up and was told it would be 14 days atleast for delivery. I had asked the lady, how would you feel if this was your son and pregnant daughter in law that are both 19 with nothing?? They are out $900 from this scam company! Trinity Van Lines is a joke!! We requested a refund and we're told no! I asked to speak to someone higher up and was told there was noone else available! They were very pushy with their service...no confirmation call...was also told that things come up, drivers get sick, covid hit...okay that was a year ago...do not say one thing and then do nothing. Do not scam people...period!! Yes, I was rude after being thrown around with no explanation of anything!! Other that, WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE MOVING COMPANY!! After searching on-line for movers with cheap pricing, I got a text from a Trinity Rep. The text had the number to call. Upon calling the number, the rep that answered wasn't very friendly. During the call he started asking me for the same info that was on the inventory sheet which had been submitted on line. He also began to tell me that I had put in my to/from addresses incorrectly. Let's just say, he frustrated me. So, I said never mind. To which he sarcastically responded "have a nice day." That wasn't the end of it. He then sent me (a female) a text that read, "Wow your a dick." He followed that one up with "try to be nicer to the next people." The text that followed that was "BTW I could of done your move for xxxx.xx." Needless to say, I called Trinity to inform the store manager. I was told the employee had been reprimanded and sent home for a week without pay. I don't believe that, because I had been on the phone with the manager all of three minutes - including the time he put me on hold - to speak with the associate. After ending the call, I then forwarded screen shots of each text to an e-mail address that was provided. (See attached) Before the encounter, I had not read their reviews. Do not use- I did a search for a company to move my deceased sons items from Oregon to Florida. Trinity called me and I made it clear that I didn't want my sons belongings mixed up with any other movers belongings. I told them that I would look somewhere else if that's how they worked. I was told that they make sure there is a wall between the different movers belongings on a truck. I was told they did a search and only 2 families belongings would be on the truck and ours would be last on first off. I told them I wanted to think about it, and was told if I didn't book right then they couldn't guarantee the one truck/2 family truck. I did underestimate the belongings to be shipped and paid handsomely for it. The movers on that end charged me over double what I was quoted. It seemed excessive, but I needed to get my sons things out of his home to sell it. I wasn't able to be on the packing end, a family member called to let me know how much extra it was going to cost. I felt like my situation was taken advantage of. I was also charged a 6% fee because I had to use a credit card to pay the difference in price. I called Jay back(my advocate). He told me that once they sent the move out, it was out of their hands. The convenience fee is standard, nothing they could do. Then passed me off to QC, at Trinity. So much for my advocate. This is a very emotional and upsetting time for my family and I feel that Trinity added to it with their deceitful practices. The 1 star rating is only because my sons belongings got here today.
