This company is that company, the one that fills up the truck and then tries to change the price on you. It took them six hours to move me out of my two bedroom into the truck they quoted me a 3 hour job that was actually 8.Being that I wouldn't give them one extra cent the owner Sebastian. If he is the owner, instructed his movers to unload the truck and leave everything on the sidewalk. They never once mentioned anything about additional time until the truck was full The movers were great, but I had to go out and buy allen wrenches, so they could take apart my beds. Also, they sent two guys for a 3 man job and one of them was his second day. I just want to make a note that the two employees were amazing and embarrassed in the way the company was treating me . Never use Top Notch this company quotes 3 hours for every job Where was Hen S yesterday when Sebastian was having the truck emptied???? I normally don't take the time out to write a review unless I truly feel someone or company deserves it. It's nice to see a company who is very professional, affordable, and hard working. I was faced by a somewhat difficult move lately, and Top Notch Movers delivered. We had originally booked another company to do the move, but since this is Miami highrise insurance requirements are strict. The original company could not assure that their insurance agent could supply the building it early Monday morning. We had already booked the elevator for that Monday morning and we had only 4 hours of the elevator. So that meant we had to go load the trucks at a storage facility where everything was. There was actually 3 storage lockers and we had to go through everything piece by piece cause not everything was being moved. So that Sunday Mark, Sonny, and Sid showed up at storage to help load the truck for the next morning. To my surprise these guys were so helpful and patient. It took some time to go through all this. The next day they showed with the insurance requirements and commenced the move. They were very personable and made us feel comfortable in our place. Where to start, well long long story short, what a mess of a move. I am no stranger to moves, I have moved myself or helped friends in hundreds of moves, but "Top Notch Wreckers" were something else. I saw these guys in my complex and checked them out, and ended up hiring them, oh dear what a mistake. First of they came hours late, seems like they only have one truck, and if that truck breaks down "UHaul" is the backup plan. Here is where the important facts come into play. Coming 3 hours late should be no excuse to break, scratch or damage every single piece of furniture, a wet carpet vacuum cleaner, even my new laminate floor in the new apartment. There was even a cut in my matress and the box spring was also damaged. Thanks God I moved "importante" pieces such as my electronics (except TV) myself moved almost everything I could each time I drove to the new place myself. All that was left was the big furniture. Putting Fragile on a box of ceramic, glasses, and kitchen supplies meant nothing... I had to ask to be careful but oh well. Now lets talk about hidden fees, and "we do not cover X Y and Z items under fault or warranty. Had I known that upfront" Top Notch Wreckers" wouldn't have made my list. I also was told if I pay with credit card or even Debit card (which is cash) that I will pay a 4% fee. Ok I went to the bank and got cash, paid cash and all the additional fees... Upfront before unloading the truck... Its in the contract if you don't pay no unload... Because had I paid after all the damage, I would have made money instead of paying almost $1000 for a 30 miles move of half a truck load. WORST MOVING COMPANY . Please do not use this company ! They are extremely unprofessional and rude. I move from FL to NC and was given the run around about when my items would be delivered. I was originally scheduled for pickup of my items on 7/15 but was told the truck broke down and they needed to reschedule. Most of my items were tagged and packed up on 7/16 ( movers did not have enough tags ). I was assured by the movers that they would be tagged at the office and stored together. My items were not delivered until 7/31. The movers who delivered my items left dents in my walls and door jams. Two days after my delivery I went out of the country for two weeks. Upon returning and unpacking my belongings I noticed some of my items were missing. I called the company multiple times left messages and no one got back to me. I called again Monday September 6th and Francine the office manager told me they do not check voice mails because no one has access to check them, so no one got my messages. She told me to give her until the end of the week and she would get back to me because they were busy and short staffed. I called back again on Friday 9/10 after not receiving a phone call and I was told the warehouse manager had covid and no one was available to search the warehouse for my belongings so when he comes back they will check. I waited a week and a half and called again to be told she could not reach any of the warehouse managers by phone and she would call me back in an hour. I called again the next day after not hearing from anyone and was told they are working on it and in the meantime I should fill out a claims form for my items. I called this morning and spoke with a different person who stated they were experiencing water damage to the warehouse and things have been moved all over the place and they can’t do anything to assist, to place a claim and why did I wait so long to call them to report my items missing. When I tried to explain that I have been trying to reach someone to assist going on three weeks she said it wasn’t important and she didn’t have time for it and hung up the phone. The clothes that I did receive have mold all over them and some of my furniture are broken. I would never recommend anyone to use this company. WORST COMPANY ! Read More

If you are looking for a reliable moving company, THIS IS NOT THE ONE. The only reason they have decent reviews is because they ask you to do them before the move is complete… they did ask my daughter to do the review at the beginning of the move…. Which she will edit it. This company is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL . When we contract them, they chose to do the estimate trough the phone, which I thought it was odd, but since we had to relocate in a rush due to job Relocation we just went with it. We were quoted between $2600 & $3200. We ended up having to pay about $5000k. Not counting my son’s new desk (worth $1279) that they broke, and refused to cover it. The move itself was a nightmare, they were supposed to be @ our place @8:30am only got there @10am, Then their truck, was too small and did not fit all our furniture, so we now had to pay extra for another trip and another day, which was promised it was going to happen the following day, LIES, we only got the remaining of our stuff 3 days later, ( every passing day was an excuse; no crew, no truck, truck need maintenance,etc. As we were waiting in between days to have our remaining stuff moved, we also got a lovely surprise from the crew that moved us. They texted my husband saying that they would only come back to deliver our items if we pay them a tip of $600 ($200 for each of the 3 movers) and they insulated my husband because he had told them he was going to tip them when the job was completed, and they didn’t like that. I moved from out of state to Ft. Lauderdale in a U-Haul and hired Top Notch Movers to help me move everything into my new apartment. Move was scheduled on Friday morning, and Top Notch Movers called me at 3pm the day before on Thursday and told me that they won't be sending anyone. They entirely screwed up all my plans and cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars in additional costs, from having to reschedule my apartment's elevator, renting out a U-Haul for longer, hotel costs until I could find other people on an incredibly short notice, etc. Pathetic service and I got nothing in terms of rebates/future credit or help finding a replacement mover. Hey, at least they refunded my deposit YAY! Don't trust this company if you don't have a backup plan. I once had a desk. Until I used this company. And I also had a nice non scratched tv stand. Let alone the fact that they charged me for 6 hours when they helped for 4. I got a feeling I’m not gonna get reimbursed. Just stay away from them. I once had a 5 star review which I removed in order to put this. I’ll update if they take responsibility. IN THE MEANWHILE, DO NOT USE THEM! Update: A nice person from there gave me a call, telling me it’s not 6 hours, they charged me 171$ for packing which I never asked for even though everything was packed. Besides the fact that they ruined my tv stand and destroyed my desk, they are also a scam. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I CANNOT STRESS HOW IMPORTANT THIS REVIEW IS. If I could they’d be 0 stars. This company did a bait and switch number on me. Their moving van was stopped by the police 5 minutes after they picked up my belongings for storage. The company said this is normal. They told me that my belongings would be stored in a temperature controlled facility. It wasn't. Every candle I had packed that was sealed and placed in a box on its side was melted. That means the facility was hot not air conditioned. My living room furniture now makes creaking sounds and it didn't do that before Top Notch. I told them when I wanted my belongings delivered to another state. The date was confirmed and the driver never showed up as promised. I called and was told that my delivery date had changed and it would be another 3 weeks. I had to pay another month of storage due to their driver problem. When the truck finally showed up the driver handed me the broken leg piece of my metal and glass side table and said it came out of the warehouse broken. Note my side table was not broken when it was picked up. When I started to unpack my stuff I found 3 sealed candles that had completely melted on their side, my grandmother's 60 year old heirloom prayer plate broken beyond repair (it was packed in bubble wrap in a box marked fragile), a musical Noah's Ark snowglobe broken (the box soaked from the water that was in the globe), 3 plates broken and my dresser had a 3/4 inch hole in the front above the top drawers. The process to file an insurance claim was daunting and not worth the aggravation to be bothered because the check wasn't going to come remotely close to covering the damage. Thank you guys for a easy and stressless move, I couldn't ask for better. I did my researchers on Google and I found top notch movers as 1 of the other 3 companies that I compare prices and quality. Let me tell you that , if you have more then 2 bedrooms.. DO NOT DO ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE. so I asked Nancy to send someone to my location, First Henry came over to my place with a company car, means that's a real company then he gave me a guaranteed flat rate for my move, I already felt that's it, no need more than that. but I had 2 more companies to honor them quotes. 1 company didn't want to send estimator and told me they giving quotes only by phone ( no way I'll do that stupid mistake ) the second company show up and gave me the same quote as Top Notch. Still waiting on a follow up call after delivery almost a week ago...called 4 times to get an idea of what was going on and clarification on things that were in writing but never really explained. Was told I would get a call when the delivery was in transit and it would arrive 3-4 days after that call. Never got that call..finally got tired of waiting and found out my stuff would be arriving the next day. Also was told to overestimate on items for the initial estimate. I overestimated 9 large items so instead of 61 pieces I had 52. The original estimate was for 779 cu ft. When it was loaded onto the pickup vehicle, it was 650 cu ft which is a $500 difference. When I called, I was told that is not the vehicle that counts for delivery, but the one that would take my stuff the 1750+miles. Still have no idea how much cu ft it came out to, since I got no follow up or status update call. The movers packed and reassembled my furniture well from what I saw, and I was expecting some things to not be perfect. Also, the delivery guy was contracted and didn't know I was supposed to mark what was wrong with everything on the paperwork. When I asked to see it again, after signing, he already took it and said I couldn't get it back. He was nice and said he didn't know I was supposed to mark things which is why he just told me to sign confirming delivery, so he let me write on my own copy after I filled out what was wrong and took a picture of it before he left. What I am not impressed with is the $3,100 I paid with 80% of it being cash and never getting a status call or a follow up call. I will not be calling again because I have other things to worry about and the movers is on the bottom of my priorities at the moment. I was told this business is in the business of making lasting relationships and a phone could have easily made this a 5 star review, even with my broken furniture...I almost referred them to my girlfriend moving out here next month, but I believe the best businesses are the one's that speak with their customers. When I called, I was told that is not the vehicle that counts for delivery, but the one that would take my stuff the 1750+miles. Still have no idea how much cu ft it came out to, since I got no follow up or status update call. The movers packed and reassembled my furniture well from what I saw, and I was expecting some things to not be perfect. Also, the delivery guy was contracted and didn't know I was supposed to mark what was wrong with everything on the paperwork. When I asked to see it again, after signing, he already took it and said I couldn't get it back. He was nice and said he didn't know I was supposed to mark things which is why he just told me to sign confirming delivery, so he let me write on my own copy after I filled out what was wrong and took a picture of it before he left. What I am not impressed with is the $3,100 I paid with 80% of it being cash and never getting a status call or a follow up call. I will not be calling again because I have other things to worry about and the movers is on the bottom of my priorities at the moment. I was told this business is in the business of making lasting relationships and a phone could have easily made this a 5 star review, even with my broken furniture...I almost referred them to my girlfriend moving out here next month, but I believe the best businesses are the one's that speak with their customers. Still waiting on a follow up call after delivery almost a week ago...called 4 times to get an idea of what was going on and clarification on things that were in writing but never really explained. Was told I would get a call when the delivery was in transit and it would arrive 3-4 days after that call. Never got that call..finally got tired of waiting and found out my stuff would be arriving the next day. Also was told to overestimate on items for the initial estimate. I overestimated 9 large items so instead of 61 pieces I had 52. The original estimate was for 779 cu ft. When it was loaded onto the pickup vehicle, it was 650 cu ft which is a $500 difference. Avoid at all costs.... To preface my recent move with Top Notch, I have moved 6 times in 8 years all over the country with various movers. This by far was my worst experience with the most outright broken furniture ( over $3500 in new furniture). Years ago, I read an article that stated to make moves easier you should find a local company willing to go long distance, with their own trucks, using their own employees. Also that it was best to pay a little more for direct moving services with just your belongings on the truck (as opposed to national companies loading multiple shipments in a truck)and it was recommended to get full valuation insurance...so I have done that with all of my moves previously... I assumed this move would be no different given the prior ratings I had seen for Top Notch, however I was sorely mistaken. Andriy helped me initially to give me a quote and set up the move in May for a July move date. I told him I wanted a direct delivery to Texas, with just my belongings on the truck and he said ok they will pick up on Friday and deliver in Texas on Monday. He told me that they didn't offer full valuation insurance themselves only the crappy 60 cents per pound ( should have been my first red flag) But since it was a direct delivery he told me that it should be fine and I thought it would be. I get a phone call then in Jul, 1 day prior to them packing, from Noah in dispatch, who informed me that they would pick up on Friday but weren't sure when they would deliver in Texas-could be the following Tue or Wed. I was shocked, given that I had lined up everything in the last 2 months for Monday delivery in Texas. He said oh you paid for direct delivery, but no guaranteed...I said, what is the difference?, I was never offered anything but a direct delivery, also if it is direct to Texas, why would it be later than Monday...He offered no good explanation and said well he is not even sure when he will get a driver to go to Texas?. He also said if I wanted I could cancel, I was livid, you mean cancel my packing and moving for the day after??..so he thinks I am going to find new movers in 24 hours.. He also said well if I wanted I could call this third party insurance for full valuation insurance. However, at the point it was too late for me to get insurance after calling the 3rd party and because I had trusted Andriy back in May saying I don't need it...after a back and forth and speaking with the Manager, Henry, I paid extra to have them deliver on Monday in Texas. On Monday, Just 2 men came to deliver my things (even though I have a lot of boxes which took 3-4 men to load in Florida) WITHOUT even a hand dolly or any other moving help. So they lifted heavy boxes for 9 hours to move my stuff in! The company clearly did not care to equip them properly or care for the safety (given the heat, back issues lifting).... After they unloaded everything it was apparent the packers were not professional, at all...Large pieces of furniture were damaged/outright broken due to negligence. ....I expect small dings from moving but this was large damage just due to unprofessional movers. I called Henry, the manager to resolve the issue, and of course given the run around again saying well you can see if you can get 60 cents per pound. This company was terrible in every way, if you care about honesty and would like your belongings intact upon arrival I would definitely avoid them. Read More

Really disappointing. They get two stars because their movers were friendly, at least. To begin with, they "hid the ball" on estimates--moving it up at the last minute (by that time it was too late to switch movers) by more than 10%. They told us that the higher amount would only be charged if the movers needed to take additional time. Well, guess what? The movers didn't need the additional time and they charged anyway. Then they tried to make us sign a document allowing them to charge another $200 if we challenged the charge on our credit card. No surprise that they had that document cooked up already. None of our stuff was broken, but we'd never use them again. UPDATE (2.27.2017): On closer inspection, it turns out that there were some pretty significant dings and scratches to a table and chairs that were moved. We didn't see it initially because the movers (conveniently) put the damaged side up against the wall. We'll post pictures so you can see for yourself. This Yelp review has now generated a response from the movers. At first they were conciliatory, but now they are threatening unspecified "legal action" based on this review.
