We were quite happy with the movers getting our heavy furniture from one house to another. But when we discovered that something was broken (our clothes washer drain hose became crushed - unfixable - had to be replaced and that they had hooked up the water lines backwards...) we no longer had that warm fuzzy feeling. The company claims to be licensed and insured with trained professionals. I called the company, first, to make sure I could place a complaint and ask for reimbursement, but was given an email address to use to place the complaint. I, then, emailed the company twice with my information and the pictures of damage and all I got in response was crickets. I explained that the money that was going to be charged to us to have it fixed was waived because of the warranty. But requested that we be compensated for having the inconvenience of needing to take our clothes to a laundromat until our washer was fixed. I booked with this moving company because I didn’t do any research and needed to move quick. I was told they were all veterans and gave proceeds back to charity so I was happy to contribute. I was told they would be at my 1 bedroom at 9am and they did not show up until 10:45am. When I had moved the exact same stuff 7 months prior, it took the men 2 hours to completely move everything. They did not leave my apartment with the truck full around 4pm. I sat around and waited for them all day. Once they showed up, they made me pay right then and there before taking my stuff off of the truck. I figured it was protocol until I realized I was being charged DOUBLE what my original quote was. I know quotes are subject to change…but I know this was due to the fact that I had ONE man VERY SLOWLY moving everything from the apartment to the truck and vice versa. So it took them 5 hours to load the truck but only 1 hour to unload it once I had paid? Does not make any sense. Then I had 4 furniture pieces broken and the man tried to argue with me saying it was not his fault. I asked for his supervisors numbers, Frank or Miguel, and I had to force them to give me either of their numbers. Extremely sketchy. The entire process was unfair, unorganized, and full of broken promises by Incompetent workers. I hope none of you book these movers as the 2 guys helping me that day even told me it was all a scam and they have problems every single move. I have it all on video! Read More

Not only that I was charged double the agreeing amount because of the drivers being late, wanting to stop for food, and them taking their time (while still damaging) putting in the furniture, but still had to pay for it because the drive time was not allocated in the original cost. Company stated I have to much time on my hand when I was in communication with Justin twice, is a big statement. No emails were exchanged, as they take to long to reply to it and the only text Justin has sent was him stating "we can settle it in court." Well i have to give credit where credit is due...My family needed to move into our new home....an My friend of many years referred us to thoughtful moving so i called in an requested a quote an they gave me one over the phone which seemed a little off, just due to there was alot for us to move so i asked if they would send someone out to see the house and give us a quote we set an appointment an franc came and gave us a price that seemed a little high, but what do i know about moving, i have lived in the same home for 10 years, My wife an i moved in with our son and now we are moving with 3 beautiful kids, 2 dogs, and a fish, lol- anyways, i called around to get a few more quotes and have a few more estimates and some of the other quotes were outrageously high or so low seemed to good to be true... thoughtful moving just felt right- franc explained everything and gave us a million tips that made the move easy for us- an when we agreed to go with them they worked with us to get us boxes, franc came back and not only dropped off the boxes but spent 30 min with us explaining the do's and dont's of packing, an let me tell you he made it alot easier for us by organizing an planning our packing and their moving an putting us on a packing schedule, one to save us money and secondly it just made sense.... I cannot speak for anyone else but these guys really made our move into our dream home an awesome experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read More
