Thank you so much for an awesome moving experience. I am a few weeks late on posting this but I couldn't allow another day to go by without showing my gratitude and appreciation. Unfortunately, I misplaced the 2 gentlemen's names that assisted me with my move. I believe one was Jason either way I may not recall the names but I will never in life forget the way you both made me feel! I was trying to handle the majority of the move on my own and requested movers for my larger items. After lifting a few boxes I realized I was in over my head. I promise it was as if God sent 2 angels because within a few moments these guys called and said they would be arriving sooner than expected. I will never ever in life forget all of the help you both gave me! They didn't allow me to lift another box. I just recovered from an Achilles injury and I have severe arthritis so I knew better. My eyes are watery now from the thoughts of your kindness. Thank you for being amazing, respectful and just plain good hearted! Your parents raised you right and this company is blessed to have you on their team! Super disappointed. This company came highly recommended by our neighbors. We arranged our schedule based on the email that was sent to us and that was also discussed on the phone. We were quoted a time of services between 2pm to 7pm. This is our moving day and we are left without movers because we receive a phone call advising us that the movers wanted to come now, early, at 11am. We are not available for the movers to come since we had arranged our schedule to be available in the afternoon. The Square Cow associate who contacted us claimed that we committed to a different time even though it is clearly stated in our email (see attachment). The man basically stated that he didn't believe us and blamed us for the time discrepancy. The proof is black and white here. Now we are scrambling to find a moving company to help us. I would suggest finding a more reliable company who will also be professional during conflicts that come up and that will make you feel valued and not try to put blame when the proof is clear. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Square Cow Moovers in Cedar Park for our move from our northwest Austin apartment to a new house in Kyle (40 minutes south). We selected them because they had great reviews (here's another one to add to the pile!), I had seen their trucks move other folks in and out of our apartment complex a few times, they were the only ones to quote us a three-men crew at a reasonable price (which meant the move would be faster) and, well, who am I kidding - you can't beat that name LOL! :D On moving day (March 27, 2021), the very professional and courteous crew that was assigned to us showed up right on time and called beforehand to advise of their arrival (much appreciated as my wife and I were in the process of loading our cars as well). Jayvion, Christian and Demontre were all extremely courteous, friendly and just all-around-great to work with at every step. All of our possessions were carefully handled and we were downright impressed with the speed at which they worked (particularly during unloading). Once we got to our new house, they showed up a few minutes after we did and immediately proceeded to unload the truck with the same courtesy, friendliness and professionalism they had demonstrated when loading. When they were done, we inspected everything, saw that our furniture was still in good shape and sent them on their way back. We are very pleased with our Square Cow Moovers experience and would reach out to them if we need to move again (hopefully not too soon). Moo! Words cannot express how disappointed I am with these movers. I went with them after several positive reviews. They were NOT the least expensive (by far), but my furniture is important to me and I figured it was worth the extra cost. To start with, the crew that loaded our furniture took HOURS longer than we were told. I understand that happens, so I let it go. However, when we left we found trash, cigarette butts, empty Gatorade bottles, and many other things thrown in our driveway. We had to clean up after them. Lovely. Somehow in the process of packing and moving, our TV stand and parts to my daughter's bunk bed were lost. This meant we had to buy a new stand and hire a company to come out and put the beds together, which was disappointing to say the least and resulted in my daughter sleeping on the couch for a few days until she had a bed. Awesome. The real fun started when our items were delivered to our new home after being in storage for 2 months. A 100 year old China cabinet? Broken! An antique bed? Yep, broken too. And, then they started unloading items that AREN'T EVEN OURS. We have 0 confidence that we got all of our stuff, because most likely some of it went somewhere else. We also have 0 confidence that this is the end of the broken items. We paid for the extra insurance, but some things are irreplaceable. Thank you Square Cow for an absolutely awful experience and ruining several priceless items. Let me begin by saying, please, DO NOT entrust this company to pack your belongings, much less move them. They charge top dollar prices, for which I mistakenly assumed I would receive top dollar service. Instead I came away with items that disappeared from the pack job, items left on the moving truck that weren't returned, and extensive damage. I waited to write this review to see how they would handle the claim, which I'll get to (this is a detailed review, scroll to the bottom to see how this company conducts business, and why you should take yours elsewhere), but let me start from the beginning. Two packers showed up the day before our move. I went over explicit instructions with them about packing two antique sets of china and glassware, all of which has been in my family for generations. I got an attitude from both packers, who assured me 'we do this all the time'. I'll get to the moving (movers left items on truck and severe damage), but first, how the pack job ended up... Several pieces of china are missing. The same piece in each set, as a matter of fact. And the pack job? Terrible. They stacked boxes one on top of another as they went, so I didn't see until later that THEY DIDN"T LABEL BOXES. How awesome is it to move in and have no idea what's in each box, and therefore no idea where to put the boxes in your new home? They did bizarre things too. There was a large box that was super light, we opened it to find some hangers in the bottom, and that was it. Now let;s go to the move itself. Three guys showed up, two of which seemed like they'd never done a move before. The move itself was chaotic, but the real problem began approximately two hours after they loaded everything up into storage, and we were two hours outside of town. I received a text from one of the crew saying that when they returned to the shop they realized they forgot something in the truck. I texted back and asked if Square Cow would mail the item to me, since I was headed out of state for work. The kid responded by saying he could hold onto the item until I returned. Um, no, that's not going to work. He said he'd talk to the office and someone would contact me. I sent an email to the person who set up my pack and move. Days go by, and nothing, so I called Square Cow. The person I spoke with said they'd leave a message with the operations manager and someone would call me back. After a few days went by AGAIN, I called back, and this time I started documenting dates and times. I called back on July 7th, and was told by a different person they would leave a message with the operations manager. Still nothing. I sent another email, which elicited no response, and so I followed up with another phone call on the 31st. The person I spoke with (Misha), said she would leave a message with operations, and I explained I'd already been through that song and dance, no one had contacted me, and I wanted to speak with a supervisor. She said there was no one for me to speak with, and she'd pass on the message. Yeah, you guessed it. No one called me back. So, this time instead of sending an email or calling, I used their complaint form. I received a call within an hour from Rebecca, who said she is was the operations manager and hadn't received any messages from the office. Rebecca said she remembered the mover telling her about the item, but that he was no longer with the company, and she'd search for it. I could go on in detail about the back and forth with Rebecca, but the short of it is, she didn't find the item and told me I'd have to fill out a claim form. By the this time, it WAS THE END OF OCTOBER. Yes, you read that right. We were scheduled to move into our new home in November. Originally we were scheduled with Square Cow, but obviously we cancelled that and used another company. I decided to wait on filling out the claim form until I got back into town and was able to check our storage facility to make sure there was no other damage. The damage was extensive, guys, like heartbreakingly so. You cannot believe how the movers stacked things. They put a chair leg through a Tiffany lamp shade. I lack the words to describe my anger at their stupidity. We had scrapes, dings, chips, smashed boxes, the works. Which brings me to the end of this review. I contacted Square Cow about the missing items from the pack, the missing item from the movers (again), and the damage. I spoke with Tim, who assured me that is not how his employees are supposed to operate, and that he would personally oversee the claim. He also said Rebecca told them she resolved the missing item matter, which clearly was not resolved. I sent over numerous photos of the damage, and details about the damaged items and missing items. I sent four follow up emails asking for an update, and today I finally called because Tim wasn't providing any information. He forwarded me a letter from the claims department that they were offering me a check for $75. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, $75. I spent hours on the phone, sending emails, and chasing down answers. I have text messages and emails about missing items, in which Square Cow acknowledges they don't know what happened, and their solution is to send $75. They didn't even to offer to send someone out to repair any of the damaged items. So, run from this company. That's the moral of this very, very long story. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and non responsive. If you care about your belongings, look elsewhere. Read More

Originally we were scheduled with Square Cow, but obviously we cancelled that and used another company. I decided to wait on filling out the claim form until I got back into town and was able to check our storage facility to make sure there was no other damage. The damage was extensive, guys, like heartbreakingly so. You cannot believe how the movers stacked things. They put a chair leg through a Tiffany lamp shade. I lack the words to describe my anger at their stupidity. We had scrapes, dings, chips, smashed boxes, the works. Which brings me to the end of this review. I contacted Square Cow about the missing items from the pack, the missing item from the movers (again), and the damage. I spoke with Tim, who assured me that is not how his employees are supposed to operate, and that he would personally oversee the claim. He also said Rebecca told them she resolved the missing item matter, which clearly was not resolved. I sent over numerous photos of the damage, and details about the damaged items and missing items. I sent four follow up emails asking for an update, and today I finally called because Tim wasn't providing any information. He forwarded me a letter from the claims department that they were offering me a check for $75. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, $75. So, run from this company. Let me begin by saying, please, DO NOT entrust this company to pack your belongings, much less move them. I waited to write this review to see how they would handle the claim, which I'll get to (this is a detailed review, scroll to the bottom to see how this company conducts business, and why you should take yours elsewhere), but let me start from the beginning. Two packers showed up the day before our move. I went over explicit instructions with them about packing two antique sets of china and glassware, all of which has been in my family for generations. I got an attitude from both packers, who assured me 'we do this all the time'. I'll get to the moving (movers left items on truck and severe damage), but first, how the pack job ended up... Several pieces of china are missing. The same piece in each set, as a matter of fact. And the pack job? Terrible. They stacked boxes one on top of another as they went, so I didn't see until later that THEY DIDN"T LABEL BOXES. How awesome is it to move in and have no idea what's in each box, and therefore no idea where to put the boxes in your new home? They did bizarre things too. There was a large box that was super light, we opened it to find some hangers in the bottom, and that was it. Now let;s go to the move itself. Three guys showed up, two of which seemed like they'd never done a move before. The move itself was chaotic, but the real problem began approximately two hours after they loaded everything up into storage, and we were two hours outside of town. I received a text from one of the crew saying that when they returned to the shop they realized they forgot something in the truck. I texted back and asked if Square Cow would mail the item to me, since I was headed out of state for work. The kid responded by saying he could hold onto the item until I returned. Um, no, that's not going to work. He said he'd talk to the office and someone would contact me. I sent an email to the person who set up my pack and move. Days go by, and nothing, so I called Square Cow. The person I spoke with said they'd leave a message with the operations manager and someone would call me back. After a few days went by AGAIN, I called back, and this time I started documenting dates and times. I called back on July 7th, and was told by a different person they would leave a message with the operations manager. Still nothing. I sent another email, which elicited no response, and so I followed up with another phone call on the 31st. The person I spoke with (Misha), said she would leave a message with operations, and I explained I'd already been through that song and dance, no one had contacted me, and I wanted to speak with a supervisor. She said there was no one for me to speak with, and she'd pass on the message. Yeah, you guessed it. No one called me back. So, this time instead of sending an email or calling, I used their complaint form. I received a call within an hour from Rebecca, who said she is was the operations manager and hadn't received any messages from the office. Rebecca said she remembered the mover telling her about the item, but that he was no longer with the company, and she'd search for it. I could go on in detail about the back and forth with Rebecca, but the short of it is, she didn't find the item and told me I'd have to fill out a claim form. The movers worked very hard, but their packing in the last third of the truck was poorly set up -- a problem I didn't discover until I arrived at my destination a week later. A dresser and day-bed frame were ruined (so was our larger flat-screen TV and our desktop PC, I learned a few days later), and lots of boxes needed to be opened to confirm the safety of the contents. Even though the cause of the damage was poor organizing and bracing inside the truck (in other words, the movers' piece of the puzzle - nothing was strapped in or braced except for the very back of the truck), our only compensation would have been 60 cents per pound for the damaged items. The TV would have needed to weigh about half a ton to be replaced at that rate, so we didn't bother to file the claim. Read More
