Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company after they have failed to compensate us for the damage to our furniture worth thousands of dollars. They send two laborers for a four-person job. The overworked movers get tired and start to make careless mistakes. It's disappointing that this locally owned franchise of Mayflower treats people in their community with such disregard. Sorensen Moving & Storage is not a good neighbor. They charge white glove prices for subpar service. Read More

I beg anyone considering using this company to back away and pick literally anybody else. They packed up my mother's belongings and then let them sit for almost a month lord knows where. She sat with no furniture or belongings in her new home for a MONTH while they repeatedly lied to her about when her items left/were leaving. Her items arrived broken, legs snapped off furniture, glass shattered, irreplaceable family china THAT THEY PACKED shattered, heat damage from her items sitting for so long, etc. They also couldn't figure out how to process her payment. We are trying to pay them the full amount less the discounts they gave her for arriving so late. But they're actually FIGHTING us on payment because they want us to pay them in full so they can then cut two separate checks to PAY HER BACK for the discounts. And we're not even trying to deduct any of the costs of the broken items. We agreed to go through their claims process. They are unprofessional, sloppy liars who do not serve your business or money. And I plan on letting the entire internet know so nobody has to go through what they put my mom through. Read More

I strongly recommend Sorensen Moving and Storage. The project manager Thomas Brasby and his team were on a two-week assignment and not only were they prompt every day they went above and beyond to ensure that everything was managed and handle with care and professionalism.  They made our decommissioning process seamless by consistently providing top-tier service and vivid communication.  5 stars is not enough as they deserve 10 plus more!  For any future moves or in house projects don’t hesitate to call Sorensen Moving and Storage because their work is guaranteed, and you won’t be disappointed. Moving my parents from Fla to a retirement home in MD, the estimate was way low, the packing took an extra day because of it and an antique statue was broken. Worse than that, the packer tried to hide it and wrote 'broken when packed' on the container. Long story short I left the statue with Sorenson but with my father's passing I forgot about the form. Time for claims expired and I asked them to mail the statue to me - it came today, broken in even move pieces. After posting this review I got a call from them asking if I had found an estimate to repair my figurine. I emailed it to them and got a check two weeks later. I've changed my review from one star to three stars. Read More
