I was told it was a family owned business and independent contractors showed up at 11:30am when I was adamite that I needed to be as early as possible. I was also told three guys were coming and only two showed up. One did all the work and the old guy, smoked, and did everything I asked him NOT TO DO. My boxes were labeled FRAGILE AND HALF OF MY CHINA PLUS WATERFORD CRYSTAL WERE BROKEN. I have moved many times within Florida and NEVER HAD ANY OF MY EXPENSIVE WATERFORD BROKEN. They left MORE than half of the items on our estimation because they said they didn't have any tools or anymore room on the truck. This made no sense considering they had a full list of all the items we required help with moving, they claimed we lied to the "Family Owned business" about the amount of belongings that were contracted to move, yet we have spoken with Alisha several times and the Owner before we paid and agreed to everything. We were honest and very descriptive of all items we needed help moving, Alisha promised we would have no issues and that the team who would move our belongings would have extra packing supplies, as well as an idea of everything needed to be moved. We also made sure that if we had more than what was discussed would it be an issue and that was reviewed with both Alisha and Nick, they both promised no issues would arise. Yet the subcontracted men refused to move the majority of the items we had on the contract that we ALREADY PAID FOR and said another truck was coming, well I called and no truck was assigned. These guys were rude and lazy. They would of had to dump my fragile boxes for that much breakage. $1700 for a 3/2 house to be moved 85 miles YET I was forced to hire another company to finish the move. My daughter and I continued to attempt to get through to the woman we spoke with for our booking and the owner, we had ZERO luck. It was almost as if they were ignoring us now that they got all of our money for a move they didn't even do properly. BEWARE OF THIS MOVING COMPANY, THEY CLAIM TO DO SOMETHING AND DON'T FOLLOW THROUGH WITH IT. DON'T TRUST WHAT THEY SAY, THEY ARE NOT GOOD FOR THEIR WORD! ! Not to mention, have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE YET! They never answered and when they did, it was like we had to deal with people who had no information or empathy at all! The second/ separate company were GREAT! Young able body guys who finished their job without any bull. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY GO TO SOMEONE ELSE. Maybe my impressions would be different if THEIR FAMILY STAFF SHOWED UP. I hired them to move from FL to GA. I was lied to about being able to put more things on the truck if there was room. I spoke to Nick who assured me they would pack the TVs and the artwork. Well the movers came with no boxes for my tvs, no tools despite my mention of an L shaped desk that had to be taken apart. The delivery took place 3 days after I paid. Arriving 6 hours late, without so much as a phone call or a text, and as soon as they started unloading all the bo es were smashed...as we're both my 55" and 65" TVs. My artwork was all ruined..there were punctures in the canvas. The delivery guys didn't even have a box cutter. I understand some damages when you move but very few things were not damaged. Customer service Stephanie gave a generic reply, sent me a link and they washed there hands of the whole thing. She even had the nerve to tell me that all my items were intact when they left there...but I'm sure she had to be lying because everything was wrapped with cloth or boxes. I got a very bad mover who damaged my property and good amount of my furniture with one lie after another I was told I was getting a good moving company, I did not care for the employees here either. then they give you some scam insurance. I have yet to have it settled what a nightmare. Feel free to contact me and I will discuss removing the review. The third part call was because the cops called, I paid him for a private move he said 7-10 days max that was not case he added shuttle to form that was a lie I asked for the tickets to identify my things he said I didn't need it was a private move he refused to give to me. He lied non stop I was never told my stuff was gone f to a random storage I would not have allowed it. He also moved 5 people along the way his movers told me. If you can help get claim done that be great I was told only to contact CSI which is a waste. I would not do business with the mover here is a pic of him sitting in a brand. New kids chair and he broke immediately he had no business sitting in it i have hundreds of other pics. Read More
