I can’t recommend Perfect Moving storage strongly enough! They did such an incredible job. My movers were Petko and Boris. They were so friendly and efficient. They packed my nyc studio up in 45 mins and that included a 5 flight walkup. They even helped me with items I planned to bring myself - like my large tv - they helped me securely wrap it even though it wasn’t part of the quote, no charge. At the house on the other end of the move, they quickly unloaded all my stuff in no time. They took the items I specified to the 2nd floor up without any confusion. Just be sure to be clear about how many items/ boxes you have. Petko and Boris were awesome but they have to follow the rules. It’s your responsibility as a customer to get the quote right. Ask for the Biggi crew if you want a painless, efficient, and enjoyable moving process! We rented a separate U-Pack (moving container) to ship our things from Hell's Kitchen to Texas. We needed movers to carry our furniture and boxes down 4 flights of stairs and into the container parked outside the apartment. The less space we use of the 14-inch container, the cheaper the cost. Through Biggi's diligence and brilliant Tetris skills, our things were placed tightly and vertically (see picture). At the end, we only used 6 inches of space, bringing our cost down from the original quote of $3,400 to $1,700. Biggi went above and beyond by helping us Tetris up the container in a way that saved the most bucks. Although our situation is unique, I have no doubt that the Biggi crew will approach each move with the same ingenuity and professionalism. Before booking Perfect Moving, I had requested a quote from several moving companies. John, the representative I spoke to on the phone, was knowledgeable and courteous. Perfect was the first to get back to me and offered the most affordable quote at $325 instead of the $500+ that we received from others. For reference, we have a 4-piece queen bedroom set, 2-seater couch, TV stand, dining table/chairs, coffee table, 14 large boxes, several vacuum sealed clothing bags, and some miscellaneous items. I cannot recommend Perfect Moving enough!! I've lived in NYC for 8 years and had a few terrible moving experiences ranging from companies that charged way more than the quote to crews that got angry with me about extra stuff and made me feel uncomfortable and pressured. To start: once I put my info into the website, Alexandra called me within a few hours and booked my move for a week out (which was a very tight timeline). Then she helpfed me adjust the move time AND the inventory list multiple times over the next few days without complaint. Next: Niti and the Perfect Moving team were absolutely lovely. The planned arrival time was 7-9am and they called me before to give me a status update on arrival time. They showed up promptly at 7:05am. Inventory/Extra Stuff: I didnt have a lot of time to pack and was expecting an angry arrival based on past experiences. They were understanding and went through the inventory with me, but said they could take extra if needed for an extra charge and didnt make me feel bad at all. They help do assembly/disassembly where needed and put blankets on bed/TV/etc. On arrival they were polite, re-assembled everything, asked where things went and also minded the rules of my new building which is pretty strict. Perhaps the best moving experience I've ever had - and that's after moving about 10 times in the last 15 years! I submitted a quote here on Yelp and Tasko and Peter reached out to me with a quote. While I was packing, my inventory shifted a bit but they were very accommodating - and my price didn't go up much (about $75). Even on the day before the move, I added a couple of things and they didn't charge me extra for it. On the day of the move, I received a message from Bob 30 minutes before they arrived at my door. They arrived exactly when I expecting them - very punctual. FANTASTIC!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! We just used Perfect Moving to relocate from NJ to SC and can't say enough wonderful things about this company. The team was professional, courteous, efficient, careful and followed COVID precautions, and handled our belongings with such great care. Peter assisted me with my quote (requested online initially) and provided very prompt and detailed answers to all of my questions. He even asked for further info/dimensions/photographs of some larger pieces and glass furniture to ensure the most accurate quote was given. Communication was very transparent throughout the booking process and there were no hidden fees. Perfect would have even covered the COI (we didn't need this, but Perfect was the only company to mention a COI out of all of the companies I requested moving quotes from). On the day of our move, Rush and his team arrived promptly in the morning (actually 15 minutes early!) and worked very quickly but carefully. Rush made it a point to call out any existing damages or scratches to my furniture before him and his team packed them up to ensure I was aware of the pre-existing condition. He even assisted with taping still opened boxes (we were not completely finished with our packing). His team also worked around us and our 6-month old baby's schedule in our 800 sq ft apartment. Rush went above and beyond to make sure the move was seamless...his professionalism, clear and constant communication, and stress-free attitude really stood out and made our move that much easier. The following day, Rush texted us several times to update us on his ETA. When the (same) team arrived, again, Rush made sure the move was executed flawlessly. All boxes and items were placed in their correct rooms (Rush confirmed with us where items should be placed) and furniture reassembled correctly. Nothing was broken or went missing. Trash and tape were removed by his team. Rush even moved a mini-fridge that arrived from Amazon from downstairs to an upstairs room because it was too heavy for me to help my husband carry it. I learned about Perfect Moving when booking my move with and I am so glad I did. To think I almost used any other movers scares me, since moving can be so disastrous if not handled right. The seamless move-out process: One guy came up to greet me (I forgot his name, but will update when I know it) and I showed him what'd he need to bring down, disassemble, etc. and 20 minutes later, his crew came up stairs with about 12 dollies and 1 dolly with a huge sturdy box that my smaller items would go in. I reserved an elevator to move out (they lock it for just the movers to use) and they didn't mind at all that the elevator time started later. The movers were quick to adapting to any circumstance. I honestly was so at ease, I left to go to the ATM because I knew I would need a generous tip. While I left, he disassembled my bed frame, disassembled and wrapped up my tv, desks, dining table with moving blankets, while moving my boxes out to the dollies, and gathering all my little trinkets, in about 2 hours. I still wonder to this day how they did it so fast. Moving in: I waited downstairs until they came, and when they arrived, they told me to just go relax, sit down, not to worry. They talked to my new building's concierge, worked out the elevator situation, and moved my stuff up in under an hour - not to mention that one guy re-assembled my bed, while the two other guys put everything in its correct room according to box instruction and helped me with anything I needed. This all happened in literally one hour! With a smaller new elevator, I thought it would take longer - but just like that, my move was done. 9am to 12pm - Jersey City to New York City. It really doesn't get any better than that. Perfect Moving, I wanted to say thank you so much for the easy, worry-free moving process. You guys came prepared for all of my items, handled it with care, and assembled back my furniture for me which I didn't think movers did?! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
