AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME...job! First CLASS from start to finish.I was scheduled with a different moving company who cancelled on me literally 18hrs before the move.Thank goodness for Yelp & NorthStar.I called last minute & spoke with a very kind lady name Gabbi who got me back on schedule for my move which was scheduled the following day.She took my info, emailed me some paperwork to sign & confirm & the next morning my moving crew,Austin,DeonTRE and Bryce showed up with mask,gloves and hand sanitizer, on time with a truck ready to move my things out of my storage facility. I even received a phone call letting me know they would arrive at the storage facility in 1hr.They worked well together, very organized, lots of communication & loaded the truck quickly.I was totally impressed.Nothing was dropped, broken nor scratched.I had nothing to assemble but they did ask.They even found & fixed my broken wheel on a box that the previous movers broke & I thought was lost :) They were patient with me while I directed them where I wanted everything & didn't complain at all when I changed my mind a couple of times :) Thanks guys you were truly awesome & the move was a great. Their prices were very fair/reasonable & actually better than the previous moving company who stood me up. This has probably been the best moving experience for me yet. I'm sure we can all agree that no one likes to move and it's an incredibly painful and drawn out process. I have had some really terrible experiences in the past with movers, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot when I called North Star. I was given a coupon by my leasing office and gave these guys a call. Even though they discontinued the offer that was on the coupon, they made an exception for me and decided to honor it. I started warming up to them right that second. David, Andrew and Cody arrived the next day at the agreed upon time. They even gave me a courtesy call 45 mins prior to arrival. I expected the move to take about three hours, even though I was only moving down the hall from my current apartment. I was surprised to see how efficient and fast these guys were. They managed to finish moving everything in a record time of 90 minutes! Not only did they move everything, they also managed to place all the furniture in the exact same spot as my old place! They even arranged the clothes in my closet the same way it was arranged before. They took extra care to ensure that no damage was done while moving. The coupon mentioned a 2 hour minimum and David was nice enough to prorate that to 90 minutes and give me a fantastic deal. If you are moving, I would highly recommend calling them.They will make moving as pain free as it can get. Read More
