We had Nomad move us out of our home, store our belongings for 2 nights, then move us into our new home, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Not only were they efficient, Matt, Larry & Todd provided helpful suggestions & were friendly and courteous. They notified us of arrival, were on time, & quickly handled the job. Called before arriving, got here early/on time, dressed in uniform, were polite, wrapped all of my furniture (no other movers have), went fast, didn’t mope around and kill time, put everything is the designated rooms, didn’t scuff anything up moving up stairs. It's been almost 3 weeks since you guys moved us and I am finally getting around to writing the review I have wanted to do since then. Drew and Challen showed up right on time and introduced themselves and asked how I was. I blurted out "I AM NERVOUS!" They smiled and assured me that I would see they were going to make sure things went smoothly and I would be very happy. I have had bad experiences with movers and even though I thoroughly researched this company this time I knew that was no guarantee. I am disabled and all I could do was to sit by and watch and stay out of their way with my dog sitting on my lap. What I observed was two guys who work VERY well together, joking along with each other and working out each detail of the plan in a very professional manner. In no time I could see they knew what they were doing and took many precautions with my belongings. They packed up that truck in such a time I could not believe it. Then it was on to the new house and there I sat on the new front porch with my dog in my lap again and watched as they unloaded and brought everything inside. Drew had asked where I wanted everything to go before he unloaded the truck and they went about placing things as I had requested. A few times Drew came out and had some suggestions about placing things a little differently because he noticed that I use a walker to get around and very nicely pointed out that I might not be able to get through with the placement of the furniture the way I had planned. He was absolutely right. Most other movers would never have bothered with that. I was very appreciative. These two were both such lovely men and really made this move an enjoyable day. AND to top it off they did it in such an efficient manner that they finished up earlier than the original estimate so the final cost was LESS than the estimate! How many movers do that!? I had such a great experience dealing with Gordon, Drew, Challen and in the office, Kelly, that I really wanted to make sure I did a review. So obviously to sum it up, I HIGHLY recommend Nomad Moving. You will be VERY glad you chose them. I sure am. Read More
