From start to finish..... If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!!!! First lets start with Rick. He kept in touch with me every step of the way. And was very patient with me and all my changes!!! Out of all the movers I called for quotes, he was the only one that followed up with me. I will definitely call him for my next move! Then comes time for the movers to load us up from Margate, FL to NC. They were beyond professional, sweet, careful, and so kind to us. Asked questions along the way. Moved our personal belongings with such care. These two young men pictured with my mom were simply amazing!!!! Now for the unload in NC. The driver kept in touch with us from the time he loaded the truck up until delivery day.... keeping us updated on time line. We had two stops, and he handled everything perfectly. Even told my mom, relax I will put the bed together! We had a storage unit and I was afraid everything wouldn't fit, well he told me not to worry he's got it. And he did! Even told me where certain things were in storage unit for me to find. I cannot say enough great things about Nationwide Van Lines. Everyone involved with our move went above and beyond. They failed to take legs off furniture before loading and as a result, many pieces are damaged beyond repair. Besides marking cartons with wrong descriptions, they filled some cartons with 95-99% paper which also limited room for all our items. The contract called for sending another truck if that happened but they argued they had to deliver our things without further delay. We were forced to rent a UHaul truck and drive four hours round trip, hire help to load and unload that truck. When they unloaded our things, they put very heavy boxes on top of boxes clearly marked "Fragile". While unpacking, we found they put pieces of items they took apart in several other unrelated boxes. It will take months to sort through everything, identify the destruction, losses, and move furniture from where they put it to where we asked them to put it. We are in our late 70's and one of us is physically disabled so we lack the muscles needed to correct the situation they created. She was so patient in guiding us through the process as we had numerous phone calls to adjust the furniture and box count of our move. Moving day came, and the movers got there ahead of schedule, which was so helpful. The crew, led by Von, consisted of Fernando, DeAndre, Roger, and Tim. They were all very polite and introduced themselves as they came in. Tim brought his Sixties/Seventies music, which was much enjoyed by us Boomers! (my husband's review) I recently completed a move from South Florida to Central NY using Nationwide Van Lines. My choice was largely driven by Nationwide's ACCREDITED A+ rating on BBB. Please keep in mind that there are many moving companies that state their BBB A+ rating. But I have learned that it is important to check to make sure that they are accredited by the BBB because this is an important distinction. As someone with substantial interstate moving experience - at least 6 times in my life - I must say that this has to be the best moving experience I have ever had. I worked with Rick from Nationwide from the beginning to the end of my move. He was very thorough in explaining the moving process, such as explaining additional benefits such as paper blankets to protect my furniture during transport and in storage. His price estimate was surprisingly spot-on particularly after we conducted a video call so that he could see the furniture pieces and boxes that were being moved. I found the pricing to be extremely fair and competitive when compared to some of the quotes I received to ship items from FL to NY, in some cases upwards of $12k. And the best part of the pricing? NO COST SURPRISES. Rick was very transparent, friendly, and stayed in constant communication with me. Even after the move was completed, Rick gave me a follow-up call to ensure that the move worked to my satisfaction. Absolutely brilliant customer service from start to finish. The 3-man moving crew in Florida, headed by Levonte, was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient - I couldn't have asked for a better crew. They arrived earlier than I expected in a gorgeous branded truck and not some unlabeled rental truck that many other movers use. These guys must've spent like 3 hours wrapping and taping furniture. They even pointed out some furniture damage that I was previously unaware of. Levonte and his crew were so thorough and supportive that they even helped me to correct my own packing of boxes. If Nationwide is reading this review - do what you must to keep this crew of men! What I like about Nationwide is that they are a moving company and not a broker. Therefore, no broker fees were assessed when my cargo was passed along to another great moving company, Roadway Moving. Apparently, these companies have a great relationship with each other and it showed because Rick was able to tell me when my cargo was arriving in NY. Another pleasant surprise? Even though I expected my cargo to arrive 15 business days or later after pickup, it actually arrived in 7 business days. Speaking of the final leg of the trip, Julian and his 2-man crew (himself and Madera) of Roadway Moving contacted me 4 business days after pickup in Florida to arrange delivery. Julian kept in constant communication with me along his route to Central NY. On delivery day, they were able to drive their 18-wheeler to the storage facility (gorgeous branded truck) and unload my cargo in less than 2 hours. What I like about Julian and Roadway Moving is that they had me check off every single item on my punch list and gave me the time to inspect all of my items to ensure that nothing was damaged. If Roadway is reading this review - do what you must to keep Julian and Madera! My only regret is that I didn't know about Roadway Moving when I moved to Central NY in January. Overall, this is hands-down the best moving experience I have ever had. If I know anyone making even a minor move down the block, I will coerce them to go with Nationwide Van Lines and Roadway Moving. I'm still in disbelief at how smooth this experience went. Read More

They were very meticulous in their handling of my personal belongings, and I was particularly pleased to note that there was no damage to any of my items throughout the move. Man! I really appreciate the great job that these guys did to get my things packed up and moved. Everything was wrapped to prevent damage. I didn't have to worry about anything! After reading the reviews I knew without a doubt I wanted to hire Nationwide Vanlines for my long distance move. My first encounter with this company I spoke with a gentleman named Rick! Super duper nice guy! Very professional, caring, attentive, responsive, he stayed in communication with me from start to finish! I keep it 1000 so this will be an honest review! My things were picked up Mon Aug 29th and after they pick up your things it goes back to the warehouse so they can load it onto the actual trailer that will be moving your stuff (if you’re long distance like me I moved from FL to CA). After they pick up and take to warehouse your things will be there for 3 days before it’s in route. I was told that I will receive it between Sept 1st and Sept 29th cause it takes 21 business days. So once I got to California I bought an air mattress from Amazon (the best by the way it’s called EZ inflate with built in pump) so I got an air mattress hoping my stuff might come sooner than waiting until the 29th BUT when they say it can come from Sept 1st don’t even count those beginning days cause my stuff didn’t actually leave Florida until Sept 15th is when I got the call they were loading onto the big trailer and about to hit the road 😩. I get it though because technically I’m the last load so they probably had to wait for other jobs in between Florida to California but my back hates me right now haha! Just plan accordingly is all I’m saying. However my stuff got here before the promised time I received them yesterday morning Sept 22nd and I WOULD DEFINITELY use Nationwide again and again if needed! They were super professional, nothing was damaged, nothing was lost, they are super fast in terms of wrapping my furniture, loading and off loading and they disassembled/assembled everything once they drop off! My wife researched at least 8 different movers and Nationwide had the best reviews. We got several quotes from the top rated ones and settled on Nationwide. Their quote and rate were higher than the others but you get what you pay for. The movers were courteous, friendly and respectful of our belongings. Everything was wrapped in moving blankets and fragile things wrapped in bubble wrap and then moving blankets. Our move was just under 100 miles and even though they started later than I expected (around 10:30 am) our two bedroom townhouse was packed up and moved and unpacked by 6:45 pm which included almost 2 hours of travel time. I had to move some furniture unexpectedly from the northeast US to FL. From the beginning, the office employees, Laurie, Alana, Rick, and Todd were super friendly and attentive. But who likes dealing with a moving experience, right?? It got better from there. My skepticism began to disappear. I was on a super tight deadline, flying north and having a 48- hour turnaround to fly back south. The office understood my concerns and it all miraculously came off like clockwork. Denis and Igor were the movers and super efficient, very professional, experienced, and worked fast. So polite as well. I was communicated with constantly, either by the men moving my property or the office employees. I met the men again in FL at a storage facility where they unloaded the shipment, keeping track of what I needed in storage and what I needed to go to my home. (a second stop was included at no additional charge - within a certain mile limit, which my second stop was) I would highly recommend this company. I must say that without a doubt Nationwide Van Lines in Plantation, FL was by far the best moving company and experience I've had. (have moved 6 times across the US) They were able to accommodate me on short notice and were willing to do whatever it took to make my move as seamless and without stress. The packing crew took their time and went beyond what I had seen in the past with other movers to wrap or double wrap my most precious valuables or fragile items. The administrative staff in the front office was always available and wanting to make sure all my needs were taken care of. I am an experienced customer - had to move many times recently. So I am well aware, that interstate moves are much more painful comparing t the local ones. However, NVL crew came well prepared and they made a lot of efforts to keep everything rolling smoothly. Specifically: 1. The estimator took information about the the whole cargo, literally, piece by piece. It helped the crew to optimize the truck size and prepare everything needed for packing; 2. Dispatcher called my condo management company to find all their requirements and to find an available time slot. 3. In Florida (my destination ) I met the same crew that had loaded my truck, and and all my stuff was in the same condition as it was after loading (thanks, Pierre!) STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I had a terrible experience with them and so many things went wrong. First they claim to be a high end moving company and are very expensive. You can get almost the same service for much less money. I picked them based on online reviews, which I really doubt now the legitimacy. I am a physician and fortunately did not have significant economical limitations. I was looking for quality service, which I did not receive. I paid them more than $8000 for a move from MA to FL. They claim to be the experts on I-95: I lived in MA few miles from I-95 and was coming to their home state. They promised me that I will have my stuff within a week in Florida and stated that I had to be in Florida 3 days after they picked up to receive the shipment. My things apparently ended going to a storage unit MA and I did not received them after more than a month. I almost never got updates and had to be calling them constantly. When they came to pick up my Load only 2 movers showed up for a 4-bedroom house. Started around 9:30 am. They were constantly on their phones and not working and took them until 3-3:30 am to load things into the truck. Unacceptable! Not sure how they get paid but they wasted so much time. Picture showing truck in front of my previous home at 3:30am. My delivery day was changed more than 3 times and about 5 days apart at least. They ruined my summer completely! They offered me few hundreds dollar discount which had no much value to me. I paid them thousands!! On delivery day a guy showed up alone on the truck and they subcontracted a local to help out. That tells that they do not specifically train their movers. I saw them throwing stuff and many boxes were severely damage or broken. I bought their Insurance and at least two of my furniture pieces were damage for which I requested repair or compensation. To active their insurance is very tedious. They were evading the issue and at the end were offering me $200-300 but I had to sign a very aggressive contract were I will not any action against them or even write a bad review about it and they could actually turn it against me. Well, I rather put this review out that taking their money. Again, don’t know how come they have so many good reviews but sincerely I can tell you that they charge too much for their poor service. The only good thing that I can tell you is that seems like I got all my stuff. Not completely sure though. I tried to send a complaint directly to the CEO but their people will not give me the contact information and is Not on their website. Take that into consideration as well. Read More

So, I have to say, after reading al of the reviews of EVERY possible moving company (and listening to the horror stories of my friends), I was petrified about moving some of my treasured furniture from CT to FL. None of the advice helped me choose a company, so finally, I picked one because I liked the enthusiasm and confidence of our estimator. Doubting that I made the right choice right up until the arrival of the movers, I was resigned to a horrible experience! Wow, was that NOT the case (guess the 5 stars gave it away, though, huh!). Everyone from Chris our estimator, to Uzi and Elvis our movers, was a delight to work with. The estimate was what we paid (with no extortion at the end of our move to get our stuff off the truck) - and was reasonable as well (not the highest quote but also not the lowest). Uzi and Elvis were professional, quick and on time...even cleaned up (very well!) after both loading and unloading our stuff. I was actually pleased that after being the team that took our stuff, they were also the ones that delivered it (not always the case I understand). Both the loading and unloading was handled professionally, with the care I would have hoped for (including our small boat!), and efficiently.
