Rolled up late (both days) smelling like a Cheech n Chong movie. Weed galore. Positive- All 3 guys were nice and worked hard. What they did pack/move was good. HOWEVER- they left behind at least 1/4 of my house. I could fill 2 rooms with what they didn’t move. Most large items were moved- but many closets/cupboards were not even touched. No lamps were packed. Pictures/mirrors still on walls. Bedding/clothing on floors, chairs. The kitchen was a disaster. Not to mention their garbage. Were we there supervising? Yes. Both days. We knew some stuff was left- but didn’t realize just how much until we went back the next day. (Which was a Sunday. Nobody in office) It was overwhelming. It took us 2 days to finish ourselves. 8 truckloads. Lots of tears and curse words. Plus the money we had paid. We were in the military 20+ years and have moved many, many times. Everything seemed fine until we arrived at the new house we worked so hard to buy. Our fridge was dented, wall paint chipped in SOO many places, the door that enters the garage was damaged because the bigger guy was forcing the damn thing in when clearly, there was no way the refrigerator would fit!! Once they left we started taking pictures of the damages to report in the claim..But this is where the horror truly starts. Once we finally settled and starting unpacking our belongings on June 3rd we discovered that some jewelry, an iPad as well as one of our PS4's were missing. All that was left from my PS4 was the original box, cords and controller but the console itself was gone. We have a total of two PS4's (fiancé and myself) we moved these as well as all of our valuables to our new home prior to the movers arriving. But! BUT..one of the PS4's were in the spare bedroom (packed away but yes, in sight) where we specifically mentioned that no one should be in there because everything was already taken out except the mattress and base. That is where the jewelry etc had also been. So, we called the police, called our insurance company and as well as the movers company to file a claim/report. It is now June 8th. But wait, there's more. We just finish putting up our entertainment center TODAY and of course, my fiancé goes into our closet where his PS4 pro is stored..and the box feels lighter than usual, YUP!! PS4 console itself is gone and just like my other PS4, cords and box are all there aside from the console and a spare controller. Unbelievable!! Please see some of the other 1-star reviews as this is exactly what happened to us but a bit worse. Add in that pretty much all of furniture was broken, scorched, dented, drug l, banged. They did not use moving blankets and assured me they would when I tried wrapping things with my own materials. They wasted time to what I now understand was simply abusing my he job. I was running circles around them. They had to have known the way they were handling and eat CC uhh my belongings break that they were doing something wrong? Both of my apartments have elevators and wide, indoor hallways. I tried providing door stoppers and ended up holding the door for them anytime they needed through. The worst part was that they a noticeable percentage of furniture etc in my garage after assuring me it was loaded up. They way they loaded the truck by the way made no sense and things were just kind of slightly tossed about. At first I couldn’t believe that they were doing this right in front of me- the way they handled things and dropped things was almost as if they were putting on a comedy. I nicely approached and basically gave up as I was afraid to possibly offend them. I’m found my furniture at my new place in a random fashion , like a jigsaw puzzle before you start to put together. Pieces of my couch—in several different areas—laying in the rut back, their sides? Seems kind of strangle if you ask me I ended up having to borrow my friend truck and spend a few evenings going back to clear the garage items they hauled off without. Oh( and they stole my neighbor’s dolly which had his name painted on it in several noticeable places. I’m The company was great during the brooding process. We found the movers’ performance and character concerning at first but rolled with it. We ended up sallying you doing most of the hood of our move and are left with most of our furniture damaged to a point that no longer want the pieces. Their service that day honestly made this the loss stressful and gloomy moves. I’m exhausted l. And the company is putting us through all kinds of the obstacles. Both of my apartments have elevators and wide, indoor hallways. I tried providing door stoppers and ended up holding the door for them anytime they needed through. The worst part was that they a noticeable percentage of furniture etc in my garage after assuring me it was loaded up. They way they loaded the truck by the way made no sense and things were just kind of slightly tossed about. At first I couldn’t believe that they were doing this right in front of me- the way they handled things and dropped things was almost as if they were putting on a comedy. I nicely approached and basically gave up as I was afraid to possibly offend them. I’m found my furniture at my new place in a random fashion , like a jigsaw puzzle before you start to put together. Pieces of my couch—in several different areas—laying in the rut back, their sides? Seems kind of strangle if you ask me I ended up having to borrow my friend truck and spend a few evenings going back to clear the garage items they hauled off without. Oh( and they stole my neighbor’s dolly which had his name painted on it in several noticeable places. I’m The company was great during the brooding process. We found the movers’ performance and character concerning at first but rolled with it. We ended up sallying you doing most of the hood of our move and are left with most of our furniture damaged to a point that no longer want the pieces. Please see some of the other 1-star reviews as this is exactly what happened to us but a bit worse. Add in that pretty much all of furniture was broken, scorched, dented, drug l, banged. They did not use moving blankets and assured me they would when I tried wrapping things with my own materials. They wasted time to what I now understand was simply abusing my he job. Our experience was not great. We moved from a second floor apartment to another second floor apartment. Two guys showed up, they didn't have any water and being August in Texas it was very hot. Things started off okay but the movers didn't work together much so instead of taking large items down together they would try to take it by themselves, and at one point one of the guys fell down our stairs trying to carry my entire computer desk upside down above his head. Thankfully it did not break, but it is now very wobbly. Throughout the move they would stack boxes on their dolly, and then pull the dolly down the stairs step by step which was not only very loud - but if we had not packed meticulously - all of our dishes and everything we had marked fragile would have been shattered. They were not prepared to move our one large/heavy item which was an older couch and my husband had to help them. Our couch was definitely damaged in this process. Not only was our couch damaged, but because both of the individuals were exhausted and dehydrated (we did give them a lot of water because they didn't bring any), one of the last items they moved into our new apartment was dropped and broken beyond repair (our TV stand.) It was not an expensive item, but it was the first furniture piece my husband and I ever bought together at the beginning of our marriage and so we are quite sad that after 5 moves ourselves (one during Hurricane Harvey rains) this was the item that was broken. We also ended up having to pay for two additional hours of moving that we were not anticipating, because by the time they had loaded the truck to go to our new place they were completely exhausted and very slow. Overall, I would say find a better, more experienced moving company. We moved from a 600 ft² apartment with very little furniture to a 700 ft² apartment, and everything we owned was very well boxed other than furniture, and they couldn't even handle this. Would not recommend this company. Used them to move out of my house in April and have lots of issues with them. Movers did not arrive on time and the employees on the phone line seemed indifferent to helping me figure out when they were coming. I'm guessing they're inexperienced because they damaged the walls in the rental we were moving out of. They knew they had done this, but failed to disclose it. Warning, A LOT OF READING AHEAD!! By far the worse company we've EVER, and I mean ever dealt with. Upon arrival the movers seemed decent..you can tell they have been smoking weed because it lingered on their clothing. But I thought "Hey, whatever gets them through the day and as long as my things arrive safely from point A to B, we'd be okay" HUGE, HUGE MISTAKE. Loading up our belongings went great, they seemed super respectful and engaging for the most part, they shrink wrapped our stuff. Only issue was the little one stayed on his phone a lot. Everything seemed fine until we arrived at the new house we worked so hard to buy. Our fridge was dented, wall paint chipped in SOO many places, the door that enters the garage was damaged because the bigger guy was forcing the damn thing in when clearly, there was no way the refrigerator would fit!! Once they left we started taking pictures of the damages to report in the claim..But this is where the horror truly starts. Once we finally settled and starting unpacking our belongings on June 3rd we discovered that some jewelry, an iPad as well as one of our PS4's were missing. All that was left from my PS4 was the original box, cords and controller but the console itself was gone. We have a total of two PS4's (fiancé and myself) we moved these as well as all of our valuables to our new home prior to the movers arriving. But! BUT..one of the PS4's were in the spare bedroom (packed away but yes, in sight) where we specifically mentioned that no one should be in there because everything was already taken out except the mattress and base. That is where the jewelry etc had also been. So, we called the police, called our insurance company and as well as the movers company to file a claim/report. It is now June 8th. Warning, A LOT OF READING AHEAD!! By far the worse company we've EVER, and I mean ever dealt with. Upon arrival the movers seemed decent..you can tell they have been smoking weed because it lingered on their clothing. But I thought "Hey, whatever gets them through the day and as long as my things arrive safely from point A to B, we'd be okay" HUGE, HUGE MISTAKE. Loading up our belongings went great, they seemed super respectful and engaging for the most part, they shrink wrapped our stuff. Only issue was the little one stayed on his phone a lot. Everything seemed fine until we arrived at the new house we worked so hard to buy. Our fridge was dented, wall paint chipped in SOO many places, the door that enters the garage was damaged because the bigger guy was forcing the damn thing in when clearly, there was no way the refrigerator would fit!! Once they left we started taking pictures of the damages to report in the claim..But this is where the horror truly starts. Once we finally settled and starting unpacking our belongings on June 3rd we discovered that some jewelry, an iPad as well as one of our PS4's were missing. All that was left from my PS4 was the original box, cords and controller but the console itself was gone. We have a total of two PS4's (fiancé and myself) we moved these as well as all of our valuables to our new home prior to the movers arriving. But! BUT..one of the PS4's were in the spare bedroom (packed away but yes, in sight) where we specifically mentioned that no one should be in there because everything was already taken out except the mattress and base. That is where the jewelry etc had also been. So, we called the police, called our insurance company and as well as the movers company to file a claim/report. It is now June 8th. But wait, there's more. We just finish putting up our entertainment center TODAY and of course, my fiancé goes into our closet where his PS4 pro is stored..and the box feels lighter than usual, YUP!! Terrible times 1000!!! Did arrive within timeframe but that was the only positive thing. The two men that showed up smelled like weed so bad that both myself and my husband had noticed it and he has a terrible sense of smell, that was red flag number 1!! Then they began to move our belongings slower than molasses. Granted I know they were tired from an earlier move but thats not my fault, I'm paying for the exact same services at the exact same price as the earlier clients! Next as they were moving our queen mattress they broke a hallway lamp fixture, I mean BOOM CRASH shattered and we were moving from an apartment so you know that was coming out of our deposit. So I called the company right then and there and said they had broke my apartment lamp fixture how do we resolve this? The guy said to give the complex their info and that they could submit a claim. He also stated "I'm sure there are cameras that caught the incident". Excuse me??? WHO THE **** WAS RECORDING IN MY APARTMENT? In hindsight I should've. Next they couldn't fit all of our belongings in their 26foot truck. Mind you they were moving a 2 bedroom apartment, where on of the bedrooms had a toddler bed! They couldn't fit the flat screen tvs, a handful of boxes, our mirror to the long dresser and a few other items. So I called the company again and said hey why couldn't they fit a 2 bedroom apartment in a 26ft truck?! The guy said it depends on what you have, I told him not much! I asked if they could go back for the rest and he said of course but we are paying by the hour. When we get to the new house it was almost 530, they said we had to pay before they unloaded, so again I called the company because I thought this was strange but he said yes, you pay before you unload, so ok we paid, then the 2 men immediately said they were going to unload the boxes and stop at 7!!! We were like "WHAT?!" As slow as they were moving? So my husband got in there, even used their dolly to move all our stuff and he hauled *** cuz I guess at 7 they would stop and we would have to unload their truck anyway. They left ALL the furniture in the plastic wrap they had wrapped it in, didn't put the bed or anything back together, everything was just thrown around, they scratched up much of our furniture, and they didn't go back for our other items! Luckily my husbands family stepped in at 8 that evening to help us get the rest of our stuff which took 2 trips in our 2 little cars!! They could have totally fit everything in that truck and it was apparent once they started to unload that they had wasted valuable space when they loaded that truck. What a nightmare it all was and I still can't believe how terrible the service was. Please please please whatever you do, do NOT hire this company! You will more than likely regret it!!! And our move was easy, EVERYTHING was packed, tabletop glass wrapped up and brought to our new home ourselves, we even took everything, all the clothes out of all the dressers so they wouldn't be so heavy, but none of that mattered. It took them 5 hours to move our 2 bedroom apartment. The worst part is though is that we paid before they unloaded the truck, and they finished at 645, which gave them an extra 15 mins that we PAID for!! They prorate you after the first 2 hours so they got an extra 13.75 for absolutely NOTHING!!!!! They could have atleast took the plastic off of all the furniture! !!!!! Next they couldn't fit all of our belongings in their 26foot truck. Mind you they were moving a 2 bedroom apartment, where on of the bedrooms had a toddler bed! They couldn't fit the flat screen tvs, a handful of boxes, our mirror to the long dresser and a few other items. So I called the company again and said hey why couldn't they fit a 2 bedroom apartment in a 26ft truck?! The guy said it depends on what you have, I told him not much! I asked if they could go back for the rest and he said of course but we are paying by the hour. When we get to the new house it was almost 530, they said we had to pay before they unloaded, so again I called the company because I thought this was strange but he said yes, you pay before you unload, so ok we paid, then the 2 men immediately said they were going to unload the boxes and stop at 7!!! We were like "WHAT?!" As slow as they were moving? So my husband got in there, even used their dolly to move all our stuff and he hauled *** cuz I guess at 7 they would stop and we would have to unload their truck anyway. They left ALL the furniture in the plastic wrap they had wrapped it in, didn't put the bed or anything back together, everything was just thrown around, they scratched up much of our furniture, and they didn't go back for our other items! Luckily my husbands family stepped in at 8 that evening to help us get the rest of our stuff which took 2 trips in our 2 little cars!! They could have totally fit everything in that truck and it was apparent once they started to unload that they had wasted valuable space when they loaded that truck. What a nightmare it all was and I still can't believe how terrible the service was. Please please please whatever you do, do NOT hire this company! You will more than likely regret it!!! And our move was easy, EVERYTHING was packed, tabletop glass wrapped up and brought to our new home ourselves, we even took everything, all the clothes out of all the dressers so they wouldn't be so heavy, but none of that mattered. It took them 5 hours to move our 2 bedroom apartment. The worst part is though is that we paid before they unloaded the truck, and they finished at 645, which gave them an extra 15 mins that we PAID for!! They prorate you after the first 2 hours so they got an extra 13.75 for absolutely NOTHING!!!!! They could have atleast took the plastic off of all the furniture! !!!!! Terrible times 1000!!! Did arrive within timeframe but that was the only positive thing. The two men that showed up smelled like weed so bad that both myself and my husband had noticed it and he has a terrible sense of smell, that was red flag number 1!! Then they began to move our belongings slower than molasses. Granted I know they were tired from an earlier move but thats not my fault, I'm paying for the exact same services at the exact same price as the earlier clients! Next as they were moving our queen mattress they broke a hallway lamp fixture, I mean BOOM CRASH shattered and we were moving from an apartment so you know that was coming out of our deposit. So I called the company right then and there and said they had broke my apartment lamp fixture how do we resolve this? The guy said to give the complex their info and that they could submit a claim. He also stated "I'm sure there are cameras that caught the incident". Excuse me??? WHO THE **** WAS RECORDING IN MY APARTMENT? In hindsight I should've. Two men arrived at my home took 8 hours to load 2/3 of my home and had A LOT of space to spare (see attached pictures, one with as soon as the truck was open, the other after the dollies and a bed frame was removed). When I instead there was room for other things such as children toys and odd shaped items one of the gentlemen continued to tell me, "this is my job, I got you, I am doing this for you". They hit on my teenage cousin and asked her for her phone number, I had to call a neighbor to be with her until I arrived from work because she did not feel comfortable. Once they arrived at my new home they took a chunk out of my front door with my refrigerator. I understand these things happen, but they lost pieces to my furniture did not put everything together that they had taken apart, arrived with none of the correct tool and proceeded to use force to make things fit together again. Towards the end of the move I am home with my 4 children under the age of 6 and it is 8 o'clock. I asked them to prioritize the crib so I could put my screaming toddler to sleep and they told me they were busy with something else. By the time it was completed they had put it in backwards and incorrectly, and had taken a bolt from my son's bed because they had lost one from the crib. So now my son's bed was missing a bolt, I am holding a screaming 2 year old and it is 8:45pm. One of the men raised his voice at my children and me to tell me that we were in the way (in MY home!). Upon (no where near) completion they were leaving and we were settling the bill. The "lead" mover told me from 1:00pm-9:00 pm was 9 hours of charge, and I corrected him. He them proceeded to yell at me and told me he was going to call the police since I was refusing to pay. He then DID call the police and got in his truck and left. He not only left, he drove away without his partner! He left his partner at my home! He then called his company and told them to charge me. The police were at my home a while later and he was no where to be found. I explained to them the situation and they were shocked. This is the absolute worst service and experience I have ever had while moving!! The management is no more helpful or constructive in resolve this situation either, they offered me a credit of 1.25 hours off of another team returning get the remainder of my things that should have already been moved!! If you care about your home, possessions, safety and respect stay as far away from these guys as possible. -side note after looking into the company more, Blake (the "lead" mover) was a brand new employee! There clearly needs to be more thorough employee training and customer relation training for new employees. Read More
