Working with Southbay Moving Systems for my move has been a fantastic experience. They are professional, very attentive to detail and, above all, they handled my belongings with care. Miguel and his team communicated with me every step of the way and answered any questions I had. As someone who is in the process of transitioning from military life to civilian life, they are by far the best moving company I have had the pleasure of working with throughout my career. I normally do not write reviews, but I am very impressed with this company and its employees. Most moving companies I've worked with tend to rush the packing and cut corners, this one did not. This is the second time we have used Spartan Movers. They are on time, courteous, and reasonably priced with no hidden add-ons. I found the team cared about the work they did. They were very professional and made sure our items were packed appropriately and our furniture was blanket-wrapped. Upon arrival at our new location, they made sure the boxes were put in the appropriate rooms and asked where we would like the furniture located. This is my second time working with Fairprice Movers, and I can still say it's the best decision. They not only have the best price, they also bring 3 movers instead of 2 like every other moving company (trust me, I got spammed by other moving companies with many quotes) Movers arrived on time, called 30 minutes before to give me a heads up. Took them 2 hours to move my one bedroom (to a third floor w no stairs!!). They were super efficient and I do not know how but they didn't stop for a second. All my belongings made it to the new place with not even a scratch and old place was in perfect conditions afterwards. Read More
Do not hire this company and do not let Rodney Holmes ( picture below) or his brother G move you. The movers stole jewelry from me. I should have known something was up when Rodney did not want a tip. Who doesn't want a tip ? Someone who is stealing from you. I emailed the company, they told me the local rep would get back to me. Called them twice...crickets. I made a police report also. All I can say is shame on you. Stealing from and old disabled women. If anyone got jewelry from them contact police please. Read More
