Excellent experience. Moved from third floor apartment to another third floor apartment. All costs were explained up front. Movers were friendly, in a good, positive mood (during a stressful day for me) and NOTHING was broken. They even worked around my cats with no issues. Highly recommend and I think the price is more than fair for a the quality of hard work provided by a three-person crew. Also, they were able to drive through two very twisty, turn filled, abnormally large complexes without causing any damage to nearby property and cars. Would give this company more than 5 stars if I could. We leveled our old house to build a new one on the same site, so we got to move twice. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with the first moving service. Thought I was going to have to sue them, and I would definitely never hire them again. For the second move, I turned to Yelp! where I found King Moving Company. Their 5-star rating, positive comments and fact that they are a locally owned business sold me. I hit them up for a quote, and they were so much more responsive than other services I reached out to. Ultimately I scheduled my move with them, and I could not have made a better choice. They broke my move into two days (apartment to house and storage unit to house). I liked the first day's crew so much I asked them to please send the same crew the next day. I got a different crew the next day, but to my surprise they were just as friendly, fast, professional, careful and hard working as the crew from the day before. Unqualified recommendation. King Moving Company did it again! They moved us in 4 years ago and are moving us out now. They are the best. Very polite and genial. No complaints about the brutal heat or the heavy book boxes. They loaded the POD carefully like a jigsaw puzzle. Ask for Alfonso, Lorenzo and Zhair. Update: our second POD successfully packed by Fernando, Yemen and Joey. They were prompt, friendly and diligent. They treated the furniture carefully and as you can see from the pictures they knew how to pack it in tightly so the load wouldn't shift and we didn't pay to move empty space 700 miles. Another great experience with King Moving Company. All of the positive reviews are accurate. We only wish that they could clone themselves and be at the other end of our move. Final update: King packed and loaded our POD with 4 large pieces of mirrored or glass front furniture. All made it to our new home without damage! Thank you King Moving. Don't hesitate to hire them. To start with, King Moving was recommended by several people in our "our aging parents" NEXTDOOR group. That was a good start. We did our diligence and got competitive quotes from 4 similarly verified and licensed/insured companies. King moving was among the least expensive without having any odd surcharges or weird pricing gimmicks. The cost was straight forward and easy to understand. Due to scheduling, we had to use a 3 man crew instead of a 2 man but in hindsight that probably saved time which translates to $$$. We wanted to move within 48 hours approximately 12 items from Frisco to Plano (12 miles/25 min). What complicated the move logistics was the furniture (Queen power bed / sofa / chair / end tables / boxes) was located in a locked down Assisted Living Memory Care facility with high COVID precautions. The engagement was booked and a time & price was agreed. We also agreed that if the crew is running early, that would be acceptable. Alfonso texted me that they were running 90 min early so I scrambled and met them at the ALF and called ahead to coordinate. The move went well and the team performed as expected. Excellent movers! On time and efficient this team of movers treated our household items with extreme care. They were very organized and ensured everything was in the right place at our new home. We had an excellent experience with King Moving! Booking online was easy, I then spoke with Omar and I received an email confirmation with the arrival time + all of the move details in writing. The day of our move- The guys called in advance, showed up on right on time. Three guys arrived, introduced themselves and reviewed our items up and downstairs prior to moving anything or starting the clock. Joe patiently explained the pricing, paperwork and process very throughly. Everything was thoroughly wrapped and moved with care and attention to detail. The guys moved SO Quick!! Our entire home move was completed in less than 3 hours including a 1 hour drive time from the old house to the new house. They even hooked up our washer and dryer within that timeframe as well.
