These guys were contracted by North Dallas Moving and Storage to help with our move. They sent three individuals who were arrived high on weed and continued to smoke blunts in our house while they “worked”. They worked super slow and constantly dropped furniture damaging my house and cracking my wooden stairs. Toward the end of the move two of the IMS movers actually had a fist fight in the street that carried over to my neighbors lawn causing neighbors to call the police. Don’t ever use IMS. They should be ashamed!!!! In Response - Please don’t defend this by saying it was not an IMS move. That is true but North Dallas Moving and Storage told me that they subcontracted IMS personnel out of Carrollton to help our foreman Bennett with this move. NDMS referred me to you so I might suggest IMS get in touch directly with NDMS to avoid this “blame game” as I’m just the dissatisfied customer. Maybe check with Stephen Coomber. Thx! Read More

Really disappointed! We used IMS to store and then move our belongings between Dallas and Austin. They did a reasonable job on the move but we did have some minor damage of some of our belongings. That's where the disappointment began. The company has been completely unresponsive in dealing with our very modest claim. Our move was completed in November of last year and our claim filed in February. While they remained "open" during the COVID shut-down, they have failed to respond to any phone call to complete the claim process. Especially disappointed in Stephanie Miller (in the claims department). She will not respond to e-mails or phone calls to resolve this issue. I don't usually right negative reviews; however, I seem to have no other choice but to share my disappointment in this company publicly at this point. As some damage is typical during moves; being able to promptly deal with reasonable claims is an important part of serving their customers. Initial service was great, but downhill from there. Packing day a bit frantic, as the packers didn't bother noticing outdoor patio items and garage gym items until last minute and they clearly rushed them onto the truck. On delivery, heavy gym equipment had fallen on top of several items - a 50" TV (display cracked), a Green Egg ceramic grill was damaged (chipped, nest bent, warranty voided) and a metal grill was damaged (bent/warped so not level and cabinet doors do not work) . Various pieces of exercise equipment also bent/damaged (spin bike and rowing machine). Also, a metal patio table broke at a joint. I haven't listed all items damaged for sake of brevity. For all of this damage they offered $890 (purchased full replacement insurance, not partial). Damage was determined by a "third party inspector" that they themselves chose. When I asked to see the third party report I was denied and told it was "proprietary" and then sent a letter that said various things such as "TV damage from truck vibration isn't covered". When I have pictures of gym equipment on top of the TV that is busted and the delivery crew manager apologizing for the state of the truck... this is just blatant gas lighting. Mike Lohner and IMS Relocation are in my opinion the Best Movers in Town! Murray Michael Lohner with IMS Relocation has moved me and several of my clients over the years! Check out video interview on Facebook detailing their services: is an interview he did explaining some of the services they offer - PAY SPECIAL Attention - to the Storage options they offer (because that's the reason for the Shout out Today!) It's been a while since I have personally moved! Mike and his team moved me and at the time I was downsizing....SO I had a sofa that I didn't have room for and I didn't want to get rid of. Mike suggested I let him store it for me until I had room for it. Believe it or not, he held it for me this whole time! While I was out shopping for new sofa this weekend, I remembered the one that I LUVED and thought "I should call Mike. I'm SURE he doesn't still have it, though" I figured it couldn't hurt to call Mike, and I wanted to say Hello and thank him again for coming to the rescue of a client last year who could not find movers...in a pinch Mike and his team packed their whole house on short notice and moved them across the country! Thanks Again for that Mike! So anyway, today, a few days after my call, Mike texts me a photo ... It's a photo of MY SOFA! I'll share the photo in the comments. Not only do they still have the sofa, but it's in great condition and they will deliver it to me next week! Is that Crazy Cool or WHAT!
