Update to my original review- We now unfortunately had to cancel our anniversary trip and have lost thousands of dollars due to our furniture (and passports) not arriving on time. This situation continues to worsen. We received a phone call from the General Manager today (not because of the situation-only because of a public review) and he offered no additional assistance. He only wanted to let me know that the days they’ve had our items was untrue. I have receipts of when the items were loaded and own a calendar. Next, apparently they didn’t have a large enough truck to load our things this weekend however when we were planning to fly out and visit the storage facility ourselves, it’s all of a sudden loaded on a truck. Do not trust this company. They have an exorbitant number of bbb complaints filed against them already and I am adding one personally today. Happy to give anyone my first hand experience if you’d like to know more before you move forward with business. In response to the General Manager’s comment, see photo below of the contact indicating the date items were to arrive 11/29/2022. A direct shipment (with two days) was never discussed or agreed upon. I’ve also included a calendar of November which, if you count the days, picking up the goods on 11/18 and delivering them on the 11/29 is 10 business days. Your business conducts work 7 days a week so Monday - Sunday are all business days. 12/20/2022- Update I agreed to update my review in exchange for them doing the right thing and providing a discount on our over $5k total. With everything that happened, I truly feel this is the least they could have done. Anyway, our items finally arrived on Saturday December 10th. The transportation company that was contracted to deliver the furniture was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Some of our boxes were damaged during transport but no items were actually damaged. As mentioned, this all happened while also trying to work so unfortunately I was unable to unpack, work, and make time go quickly write this review. We highly recommend using Hello Movers for your next move. All of the staff are extremely helpful and professional, but Danny went above and beyond. He came to our home and provided an honest and reasonable quote, personally delivered some commercial bins/boxes before our move so we could get a head start on packing the odd shaped, bulky garage items, and even performed both moves for us. Danny quoted the use of one 28’ truck for our 3 bed, 2 bath home when every other company wanted to charge us to use two 26’ trucks. He and his crew arrived on time the day of the move and perfectly fit all of our items in the one truck, as promised. Danny also stayed in communication with me right up to the minute he and his crew arrived to delivery our items to our new home. All items were carefully removed and placed where they belonged without any damage. They also performed the pickup on a Sunday, the other big moving companies do not offer Sunday moves. Then we met our Dedicated Team of Hard Working, Professional Movers: Waka, Edgar & Zachary!!! What a pleasure to work with these conscientious gentlemen who were so careful with the handling, wrapping, moving, disassembling, reassembling and placing of our furniture!
