Bad broker company. The two men to pick up my stuff were too friendly. Price went way up from what I was quoted. Truck was late delivering and I was not contacted letting me know they were going to be late. NO STARS!!!!!!! DO NOT USE GRACEFUL MOVING!!!! THEY HAVE AN LLC UNDER THE NAME DA MOVING AS WELL!!!! IT IS A GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE SCAMMED AND NOT KNOW IT UNTIL MONEY IS ALREADY LOST!!! DO NOT CONFUSE THEM WITH GRACEFUL MOVES LIKE WE DID!!!!! PLEASE LOOK AT PICTURES. They will sound so nice and professional and answer your questions with lies. My aunt is needed to move from Rhode Island to Nevada. She had a queen bed frame with mattress, one box spring, headboard, six 30 gallon totes if clothes, four 17-20 gallon totes, 2 mores small totes, 2 medium totes, 3 Home Depot boxes, 4 drawer chest and 1 nightstand. She moved out of room.
When she contacted Graceful moving they told her that the movers they had were their "employees". That is not true they are contracted. GRACEFUL MOVING ARE BROKERS!!!! They do nothing but take your money then contract you out to moving companies. Once they get their money they will not answer their phones. My aunt called daily and also emailed and got no answer. When she arrived in Nevada with me I called them from my phone and they answered. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told he was on lunch. So I asked them about the price going from $2263 to $2994 to $3641 they said that they didn't realize she had a wood frame so it went up to $2994 then when the truck arrived they said that she took up an extra 98 cubic square feet so it went up to $3641. When I questioned them about the breakdown they didn't know what I was talking about and asked me to email them the paperwork. (Don't do that! send them nothing they should have copies)
I called back using my daughter's phone the next day for a follow up and Kristina answer the phone and told me that was the total $3641 because she was over the original cubic square footage. I asked to speak with a manager. She said that the manager left early for a doctor's appointment. I asked for the managers name and when she will be available. Sounded like she was making everything up, so I asked for the cubic square footage of the moving truck used to move my aunts things. She said she didn't know then hung up in my face.
(So I'm going to take you back to the trucks.) When the truck arrived the name on it was integrated moving. They were nice and started loading all her stuff in the truck. After all her stuff was in the truck, they presented her with paperwork with a different total. They told her that's what they have as her total she had to pay $1073 plus $54.00 tax or they were not going to take her stuff. She told them she had to read it before she signed but they rushed her and told her that they were in a hurry because they had another pick up. (So beware of that) The paperwork is long with lots of fine print and if you refuse Graceful moving will not refund the money you already paid!!! For her that was already $1441 gone.

They took her stuff to New Jersey unloaded it in a warehouse for I don't know how long. Then the 18 wheeler truck picked her stuff up and drove to Nevada. The driver that arrived was an independent contractor. He had no knowledge of Graceful moving he said that that another company asked him to do the job and tried to pay him a low fee and he said no. So our fee was another $1073 which you HAVE TO BY DOT FEDERAL LAW pay with cash or postal money order. They will not unload until you pay!!!!! I emailed this company to get an estimate for moving a small one bedroom apt. Minus the bedroom set. So about 16 boxes a bicycle one small sofa one loveseat and 75inch tv. Zach the first person I talked with after sending pictures said 377 Cubic should be enough. Zach got the dates wrong. So the operations manager corrected it for me and assured me everything would be golden. 719.20 is the cost I was quoted at pickup. The movers picked up the above mentioned items and called me to inform me that the cubic ft went from 377 to almost 600 cubic ft and the price more than doubled from 719.20 to 1467 I planned for a 200 to 300 cushion not 1467. Then I get a text message from the driver saying how will I pay the 750 upon delivery with was supposed to be 719.20 not to mention the 750 initial deposit I had to give this company. I do. Or recommend this company at all if your planning to move do your research about these types of companies.
