But then James called in the afternoon and said executive management determined that they couldn't offer a refund. And then had the audacity to charge the remaining 50% of the fee...the movers dumped our belongings on the front lawn!! The one item is a.7.5 ft marble table that is 1 inch thick super heavy and fragile, the other is a 1950's magnavox console stereo and "The Lady" which probably weighs over 200 lbs.

Buyers beware!!! Good Greek is manipulating online reviews through their insurance claim offers and will not pay for the cost of repairs for items broken by their employees' or subcontractors' negligence.
Good Greek Moving was engaged to assist with moving our belongings in town in Tampa on August 15, 2022. The movers started the day by destroying a 70 inch television. They then decided to move a freezer with the dolly on the front causing significant damage to the door of the freezer. Near the end of the day, the mover decided to transport a glass table leg on a dolly without any support resulting in the leg falling and shattering. The company then called at the end of the move day to charge an additional amount for their movers taking longer than expected despite causing nearly $7000 in damage. Now with the claim submitted to their insurance for damage, they are offering $300 and require that I sign a document to not share the horrible experience on social media. Don't trust this company with your move and don't trust the reviews on here. They are buying their "good" reviews and squashing negative reviews. Horrible company, horrible experience, and laughable offer to make right on the damaged caused by their incompetence.
Update as of 10/27/2022: Good Greek has increased the offer to $1000 if I sign the form that restricts online reviews/content. Otherwise they penalize me $835 and will only pay $165 for not signing away my rights to review them.
Update as of 11/15/2022: Based on a call with Good Greek, they are still unwilling to remove the restrictive terms of their "offer" from the release of liability. Read More

Beware Small Businesses! After a terrible experience and being asked to submit a claim form with photos in which I did, it took them over 2 months to respond with an insulting $75 and that I sign a form that says we would not write a review. I decline the money and here is our review. The following is what I submitted to good Greek for the claim……….When I first spoke to the phone representative Joe he did not ask me what we were moving or any questions for that matter. I realized this afterward and the second time I called I spoke with another gentleman and was trying to explain what we were moving our business and he just responded with okay. I honestly did not think he was listening to me at all. I think his name was Brad. On the day of the move, the movers started to get irritated and asked me did customer service ask us what we were moving and I responded no and that I thought that was strange. They said due to that fact they were not prepared with the proper items to fill the truck and there was a lot of wasted space and that is was going to take longer to complete the move. None of this was our fault but we had to pay triple for it in the end which is no way to treat a customer. We ended up moving a lot of items in several of our own cars and making several trips in 3 cars. This was not part of what we had planned. The second and major irritation was that on the second trip they loaded the malls elevator with our items and left them sitting there with the elevator door wide open and went to the mall food court to eat something. First of all there is a huge sign that says do not leave elevator door open and the mall was pretty upset as the other tenants could not use it. And anyone could have taken our items from the open elevator door. At this point they continued to get irritated further and were over it and everything was just getting thrown into the business location. We were all completely exhausted as several hours now had passed and we had to clean up the disarray that was left behind.
So much time was also wasted on the phone as one of the movers was expressing his frustration on speaker may I add to a manager and we heard the whole thing. The manager was cursing on the call many times.
We ended up paying almost 3 times more than quoted due to all of this negligence and down right unprofessional service. Read More

After a terrible experience and being asked to submit a claim form with photos in which I did, it took them over 2 months to respond with an insulting $75 and that I sign a form that says we would not write a review. I decline the money and here is our review. This company overall was just annoying to work with. They sent 3 guys to move a 2 story house. It took us from 10am until 1am to finish our move. When we realized it would take all day we called the owner and they just said something like "sorry we were moving one of the Bucaneers". Why does that matter? Is a normal customer not valued the same as a celebrity? Only after we made that call did they send another truck over. It just seemed like it was really dragged out for no reason because "who cares about the little guy?". The staff in the truck was very friendly, but it just seemed like a severe management issue from the top down. It was scheduled 2+ weeks in advance so the company knew what to expect, and they told us that 2 trucks would come at 10, but the 2nd came at 6pm. Horrible management team.
