Freedom Relocation Services is a veteran owned, family business operated by Jeremy and Lynn Akins. Jeremy and Lynn have been married for 25 years and have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Jeremy is a veteran of the United States Air Force and has over 25 years of business management, logistics, and customer service experience, as well as senior relocation experience. Jeremy was a volunteer firefighter for his community for 10 years. He graduated from New Way International Bible College, majoring in Advanced Biblical Studies. Jeremy has always had a passion to serve his community. He possesses the attitude, passion and patience it takes to serve the seniors of our communities. He knows the care it takes and how to deal with these special people during their transition. There are only a select few types of people that are out there to really help our seniors in this transition. Many have lived their whole lives in one place and need the compassion and care that will be given by the team at Freedom Relocation Services. Jeremy has the right mindset and ability to help them through this process. He goes above and beyond to put them and their families at ease. I’m giving this company a three star review because my price did go up. I did an estimate with the young man over the phone and I thought we did a pretty good job now I have to admit that I did leave some things off that I forgot about, but my price did increase by about $500. The moving company that came out Showed up about two hours late and said there was a bunch of traffic so there’s nothing I can really do about that. The movers did really good work. Any communication with USA moving solutions was OK and could’ve been better but it was OK. When I asked if I would use that service again I told them there’s about a 70% chance that I would. We moved a year ago. I was quite uninformed about movers and "moving" companies. AAA Moving Group is NOT a moving company. They are a broker. Their prices are ridiculous because as you get closer to your moving day, and what the actual movers charges are, higher and higher. Avoid this company. They hire the actual "movers" who are pretty much a scam. We were told that there was an insurance policy in case of anything lost, missing or damaged. What a freeking joke. There is NO insurance policy through or with AAA Moving Group or the dam movers. I figured with the damages, lost or stolen items, I lost thousands of dollars. If you check BBB ratings, these guys rate a "zero"!! Beware, they are a scam. I only am giving the rating so I can post this. Read More
