WORST COMPANY EVER!!! Warning: DO NOT USE!
1. Pickup was unsettling & unorganized. Employees smelled like weed, I was required to buy an extra $25 box, charged extra for packing, and charged extra for square footage (of course).
2. Pickup date was 2/28. Provided 3/15 as the first available delivery date. Received a call on 3/15, informing me that they were just loading my items on a truck.
3. Deliver date was 3/25, 10 days later than expected, and nearly a month after pickup. Thank God it was not imperative that I receive my items right away!
4. My items were delivered dirty, broken, smashed, crushed, and clearly mishandled!!! Even worse, 3 very important boxes-storage containers were missing. They even tried to deliver someone else’s items to me. Not surprising considering some of my items were missing stickers, my inventory list was poorly done and did not match with my items. Worst of all, I found out that delivery driver worked for a completely different (very poorly rated) company that FVL had hired, without my knowledge.
5. Took 17 days to finally get my 3 missing boxes-storage containers back. 17 days of horrible customer service, conflicting information, unanswered calls; basically, the biggest run-around ever!!! The container of one missing item was nowhere to be found and my belongings were just thrown in a random box.
6. Filed a claim with CSI. Again, I am receiving horrible customer service, confusing-conflicting information; basically, the biggest run-around ever!!! They state that I will receive a response from the adjuster no sooner than 120 days… what a joke! I’m sure I will never be compensated fairly for the huge loss I have endured.

We used them this past May. We were charged fairly but it very expensive. We moved a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house about 5 miles away. In the move, a book case was damaged in the move (see photo). Chunks of the top were ripped off somehow. We filed a claim instead of giving a refund they offered to come pick up the bookcase, repair it and return it. The damage is on the top, so no matter what is done, it will still be noticeable. No monetary resolution was offered, even after a call back today to try and resolve the issue. Making matters worse, my wife called me to come home from work during the initial move because the foreman continuously hit on her. He mentioned her looks multiple times along with her body type, that made her fee uncomfortable enough to call me to come home so they could see she has a husband that is present. He continued to hit on her at the new house and asked for her number so he could get her a "hook up at concerts". Very unprofessional all around and overpriced for the service provided. Read More

Oh I so wanted to give them 5 stars, I really did. We just moved from Florida to California and had an all included package with this company meaning they came in and packed everything up for us. During the whole scheduling I dealt with Benjamin, a really nice and professional guy. Very helpful. The movers in Miami were very fast and did what I thought was a great job. We gave them a great tip too. The problem was when I went to unpack boxes in California. One of the boxes containing ALL of my husband's shirts and suits had been placed together with a full litter box container. With full I mean filled with cat feces and pee! I had explained to the movers that everything on the bathroom floor is trash. When I didn't see the things I assumed they had disposed of it. Imagine my surprise when I'm emptying boxes in California and find that was NOT the case! The person dealing with the move here Edan (great guy!) Called the representative or brooker (or whom ever it was) Ely and told him about the disgusting situation. I did not get a phone call from either Benjamin or Ely, perhaps just to ask how everything went and what my experience had been. I guess one payment is done in full there's no interest for the clients? The biggest issue here is our dry cleaning bill, who's going to pay for all of my husband's shirts? Or the towels we had to throw away? Or the printer that was filled with cat sand? There was also other boxes where things had just been thrown in at random. 10 Stars!! I know that's not an option but mentally multiply my 5 star rating by 2.
First, I want to thank my fellow Yelpers that reviewed Forward Van Lines, because ultimately that's how I found them.
I was moving from FL to MA, and needed my stuff packed carefully, stored and my precious baby (my car) shipped up to me, because I'm not one for making long distance drives.
Nirva, Roy and Ben helped me coordinate everything. They were so very professional and prompt with processing my down payment and getting all of the correct info to me and my mom.
On moving day, Mike, Dave and Travis came to move me out and they were awesome. So sweet and professional. They wrapped my furniture up perfectly (see my uploaded video) and moved me out in about 2 hours.
They worked super quick and well together. It put me at so much ease where I was able to kick back and watch TV on my IPad. And they were even friendly enough to laugh at my corny jokes. Score!
Forward Van Lines uses a contractor to transport vehicles called GLG Cars. He (can't remember his name sorry) came the next day to the hotel I was staying at and picked up my car hassle free in the hotel parking lot.
About a week later my car was dropped off in front of my house just as nicely as could be. I was worried at how the drive would be from FL to MA, because of the weather, but all was well.
I am so very pleased with this company and they're level of professionalism and exceptional customer service that I highly recommend them for your next move. Read More
