So if I could give negative stars, I would. All the GM really cares about is getting my negative review off of here. If my quote requests somehow got lost, fine, cool... whatever. But don't sit there and accuse me of calling the wrong company. a) I'm not an illiterate child. b) can't call the wrong number when you click on the one provided on your site. c) I'm not stupid, when I left the voicemail pretty sure I would've noticed if it was a different company name in both initial greeting and voicemail greeting. I'd also like to leave this little tidbit I just discovered... my security camera caught my whole call n voicemail, and the best part?!? You can actually hear "firefighters finest" as the voicemail greeting begins. Yelp won't let me post the video, but I've got a time stamped screen grab mid call I'll leave right here for you. Oh... I gave two stars because the guys worked hard in the heat. We had two households moved by this company. I did not have them drive the truck because we moved out of Texas. My issues is with how careless they packed both trucks. It would not have mattered if I had the world's best driver. So much was ruined! They did not have the proper training on how to pack a truck. They also took apart furniture and did not properly tape removed pieces to furniture, so I have a couch with broken feet and missing screws. My $500 Umbrella stand was crushed by the ramps that were haphazardly put in the truck, They did not use the board that is suppose to go between the furniture and the door (which is where the ramps should be stored). This is just my move. My parents were packed up by them (on a different day) and they had several broken pieces of furniture because it was stacked with stuff far to heavy. Several scrapes to the furniture that was done when moving it to the truck. The damage did not occur because the driver was not competent. They did a terrible job. I would not use them at all! Lmao they quoted me $635 to move me 1.5 miles the following items: (I've moved clothes and doo-dads) Washer & Dryer, Ikea island, Bed, mattress, nightstand, TV, and an Ikea rocking chair. I'm moving from a fully furnished off-campus student apartment which has a couple of furnishing that are mine. Apparently I need a 3 man crew for someone to push the elevator button since my apartment doesn't allow you to reserve the elevator for move in-out (regardless of the fact that 80% of the people who live at my current apartment are gone for the summer as I mentioned and the official move-out date for everyone who lives in the whole building is the last week of July). The movers were on time and called ahead to confirm. Estimated a 3 hour move all that I had left to move were bigger items I couldn't fit in my car. Going from a 1 bedroom apartment to another one bedroom this one on the third floor 15 mins away. The two man crew were courteous and professional the entire time. The reason I rated them two stars is because the move took 4.5 hours an extra 1.5 hours. Total cost was $620, last year around the same time I moved from downtown Dallas to ftw which was an 1 hr 15 min drive between locations and it was my whole apartment not just bigger items. it was a three man crew but it took about the same amount of time and was only $100 more. Also all my furniture looked out until I turned a shelf over and saw bad marks on the side. In the future I will just rent a truck and move my self or hire the company I used last year who were a lot quicker and nothing was damaged. Read More
