I DO NOT RECOMMED EZ MOVING. We had our moving time set to start between 12pm and 4pm. As we approached 4pm no one contacted us that the movers will not be available till 7pm. I had to call several times and finally got hold of a sales rep that helped me hunt down the movers and the manager. No compensation was made for all the inconvenience. Our movers showed up at 7pm. The movers did what they had to. It was a 9 hours move and we got done at 4am. During the move our King bed and metal platform was dissambled and reassembled. The bed and the parts of the metal platform were not assembled correctly and the the whole foundation is wobbly. The movers also broke the zipper on the platform. Our mattress was also messed up in the move. I filed a claim and I have been in touch with Mike, who is very unproffessional, unresponsive and it has been very frustrating working with him. He was supposed to send a furniture rep to fix it, i kept following up for 2 weeks and no one showed up. He then offered to order the platform, I sent him a link for $135 on July 27 then comfirmed again on August 7 and he never ordered it. I had to keep following up for a whole week. I texted and called him every other day. He finally decided to order it and the item went out of stock. I sent him another link for the platform that would work with our bed that was $257. He refused to order it. His delay, unresponsiveness and negligence has caused alot of back issues for me given I am pregnant and sleeping on a wobbly bed and uneven mattress for 3 weeks is not reccommended. I offered to hire a handyman to fix my bed since he was going to order the platform for us and now he refuses to order whats in stock. ESTO SERA LARGO PERO POR SU BIEN VALE LA PENA LEERLO, SE AHORRARÁN MUCHOS DOLORES DE CABEZA. Cuando contraté a esta empresa por primera vez en octubre me dio muy buena impresión. La persona que me cotizo telefónicamente fue muy amable y atenta. Me dio toda la información, me cobro la reserva, me explico que era lo que necesitaba para el tamaño de mi apartamento. Me resalto especialmente que no eran una compañía que contrataba personal záfela sino que contaba con empleados profesionales y con amplia experiencia. Me cotizo 3 personas y 3 horas. Cabe destacar que yo ya había guardado todo en boxes (los negros con tapa amarilla que ven en las fotos) por lo que tenía todo junto en el living y súper ordenado para meter al Camion y llevar a un storage (ni siquiera tenían que acomodarlo en una nueva casa porque todo iba a un storage a 10 minutos del apartamento). Llego el día y allí estaban, puntuales. Yo organizando todo y encargándome de algunas cosas no le preste atención a mi teléfono pero se acercó uno de los muchachos a darme el suyo y a explicarme que si no les pagaba el resto no podían comenzar. Le digo a la chica por teléfono que no hay problema pero que cuando me cotizaron me dijeron que debía pagar cuando terminaran el trabajo, incluso por si había una diferencia a favor de ellos porque si es a favor mío lógico que no me la devuelven. Me dijo que no que eso era un error y que si no pagaba no comenzaban a trabajar. Mi hermano trabajo mucho tiempo en una compañía de mudanzas y siempre cobraba al finalizar el trabajo pero bueno imaginé que de manejaban distinto y les pague. En resumen, un trabajo que era para menos de 3 horas termino siendo de 6 ya que me mandaron 3 personas sin ninguna experiencia, 2 de ellos habían comenzado ese mismo día y lógicamente no contaban con la dinámica que requiere esta tarea. De cualquier manera gracias a mi esposo y mi hermano no se extendió más ya que ellos terminaron el trabajo. Les pague la diferencia más la propina ( porque no es culpa de ellos que la empresa te prometa algo y no lo cumpla o no los entrene debidamente) y se fueron. Mucha gente me decía que llamara a quejarme y no lo hice porque yo también soy una trabajadora y repetí el trabajo de los demás y temía que los reprendieran. Me toco hacer la segunda parte de la mudanza, del storage a mi casa y pensé mucho en que hacer hasta que llame a la misma compañía y les planteé lo que me había pasado la primera vez ( muy edulcorado), me comentaron que ellos ya no trabajaban en la empresa y que realmente lamentaban lo que había pasado por lo que si hacía esta mudanza con ellos me iban a dar un crédito de 50 dólares (😂). Ustedes dirán… pero porque caíste nuevamente en llamarlos a ellos? No tengo respuesta para eso, estaba tratando de simplificar las cosas, ya tenía el teléfono de ellos, más vale malo conocido que bueno por conocer… no se, pero caí nuevamente. Le expliqué a la persona que me llamo el tema de lo que había sucedido con el pago y me seguro que no me iban a cobrar hasta que el Camion llegara a mi nueva casa con mis cosas ( cosa lógica porque yo no tengo porque confiar en que me las entreguen, dicho por ella misma). Llego el día nuevamente, habían quedado de venir entre las 8 y las 9 asique yo estaba en el storage a esa hora. La cotización fue por 3 personas 5 horas y una de esas personas iba a ser un manager de los más experimentados de la compañía para compensar lo que ya me había pasado. Pasaron las 8, las 9, las 10 y yo parada en el storage sin que se aparecieran. Llame a la compañía y no sabían nada de ellos hasta que de comunicaron, estaban perdidos, si… así como leen… perdidos! En una ciudad donde para todo usamos el GPS, con gente que de supone que está acostumbrada a andar por la calle, un storage en pleno OBT y resulta que estaban perdidos. Después de horas de espera, aparecieron en un Camion 2 personas. Cuando pregunto por la tercera persona no tenían ni idea, les muestro la cotización y llamaron a la compañía por lo que les dijeron que aumentaran el horario 1 hora más sin cargo para cubrir a esa persona que no mandaron. Todos sabemos que no es lo mismo igualmente porque no es igual 3 personas trabajando a la par que 2 trabajando más horas, es obvio que iban a rendir menos. Y así fue… el trabajo que llevaba originalmente 5 horas terminó llevando 8, llegaron a mi casa en la noche, mi esposo y mi hijo terminaron bajando con ellos todo del Camion y yo terminé jodida pagando más. Además de todo, cuando el Camion no había llegado aún, me llamo la persona de la empresa a decirme que tenía que pagarles, le volví a explicar que el camión lo había llegado y que no era en lo que habíamos quedado y se alteró, me grito, me maltrato y me corto la llamada. Tráete de volverme a comunicar y nunca me respondieron. Además de todo adjunto fotos de cómo llegaron mis cosas. Cristalería antigua rota, los monitores de la computadora de mi jobo rotos, y varias cosas más que no quiero ya extenderme más en describir. En resumen, un trabajo que era para menos de 3 horas termino siendo de 6 ya que me mandaron 3 personas sin ninguna experiencia, 2 de ellos habían comenzado ese mismo día y lógicamente no contaban con la dinámica que requiere esta tarea. En una ciudad donde para todo usamos el GPS, con gente que de supone que está acostumbrada a andar por la calle, un storage en pleno OBT y resulta que estaban perdidos. Después de horas de espera, aparecieron en un Camion 2 personas. Cuando pregunto por la tercera persona no tenían ni idea, les muestro la cotización y llamaron a la compañía por lo que les dijeron que aumentaran el horario 1 hora más sin cargo para cubrir a esa persona que no mandaron. Todos sabemos que no es lo mismo igualmente porque no es igual 3 personas trabajando a la par que 2 trabajando más horas, es obvio que iban a rendir menos. Y así fue… el trabajo que llevaba originalmente 5 horas terminó llevando 8, llegaron a mi casa en la noche, mi esposo y mi hijo terminaron bajando con ellos todo del Camion y yo terminé jodida pagando más. Además de todo, cuando el Camion no había llegado aún, me llamo la persona de la empresa a decirme que tenía que pagarles, le volví a explicar que el camión lo había llegado y que no era en lo que habíamos quedado y se alteró, me grito, me maltrato y me corto la llamada. ESTO SERA LARGO PERO POR SU BIEN VALE LA PENA LEERLO, SE AHORRARÁN MUCHOS DOLORES DE CABEZA. Cuando contraté a esta empresa por primera vez en octubre me dio muy buena impresión. La persona que me cotizo telefónicamente fue muy amable y atenta. Me dio toda la información, me cobro la reserva, me explico que era lo que necesitaba para el tamaño de mi apartamento. Me resalto especialmente que no eran una compañía que contrataba personal záfela sino que contaba con empleados profesionales y con amplia experiencia. Me cotizo 3 personas y 3 horas. Cabe destacar que yo ya había guardado todo en boxes (los negros con tapa amarilla que ven en las fotos) por lo que tenía todo junto en el living y súper ordenado para meter al Camion y llevar a un storage (ni siquiera tenían que acomodarlo en una nueva casa porque todo iba a un storage a 10 minutos del apartamento). Llego el día y allí estaban, puntuales. Yo organizando todo y encargándome de algunas cosas no le preste atención a mi teléfono pero se acercó uno de los muchachos a darme el suyo y a explicarme que si no les pagaba el resto no podían comenzar. This was the worst moving experience of my life and being a military spouse I have moved a lot, definitely not "EZ." Our move was delayed due to the truck breaking down, then over-scheduling which led to a staff shortage, they broke two boxes of cups, lost the legs to our bed, and caused $400 worth of property damage. Their customer service department does not answer the phone and they have refused to pay for the damages. The first problem arose after all our belongings had been loaded onto the truck, when the movers tried to start the truck the engine would not turn over. After 30mins of troubleshooting we were asked if we could reschedule and have our belongings unloaded in the morning. I said, "No problem, just let me know the plan." The crew chief said, "Ok, I will check with the boss and confirm with you." This was at around 12:00. I received a call at 1:00 that the truck was started and they were on the way to our new house to unload our belongings. When the truck did not arrive after 30mins I attempted to call the company for an update, but no one answered the phone. I left a message and continued to call over the next 30mins. I finally got a call from the moving crew chief who said, "We had to send two of the movers to another job, so we don't have the people to complete the move, but maybe we can come back afterwards. I'll call the boss and let you know." I then spent the next two hours trying to get ahold of someone in HR or customer service. I finally received a call back at 5:30 and was told, "We can only get 2 people over there if you need to move in tonight. If you want the 4 movers you will have to wait until tomorrow." I paid to have 4 movers because it was a difficult four story move. Since two people would not be able to complete the move without going overtime, we ended up postponing our move in until morning. My husband, myself and our 3 kids then had to purchase air mattress and blankets from Walmart since all our belongings were on the moving truck. Unfortunately, the problems continued the following morning. I witnessed one of the movers drop two kitchen boxes marked "fragile" and when I opened the boxes almost all the mugs and glasses were broken. I also noticed the button in our elevator (it's a personal elevator for assisted living, not communal) had been pushed through the panel and was hanging down behind the wall. When I asked the moving crew what happened they admitted, "Oh, that got mashed too hard, he just mashed it back there." They also did not re-assemble two of our beds and we still have not located the legs for our primary queen bed, it has been almost four weeks since we moved in. The elevator repair alone cost us $400, not the mention the broken mugs/glasses, Walmart purchases, and new legs for our bed. The overall issue is a lack of communication and customer service. On the first day hours went by where I did not know when our belongings would be unloaded and no one at the office was answering or returning phone calls. I experienced poor handling and unprofessionalism from ez movers. The head mover intentionally moved slow to extend time. The co-worker was polite and efficient. It took almost 4 hours to move a dozen boxes and a few furniture items from an apartment into a storage unit. They didn't use any protective equipment, especially during COVID-19. Shame on this small company that will milk a move during a pandemic! I witnessed them load a bag onto the cart and then place a box on top of a bag, which wasn't stable and fell over. My tray fell and cracked the edge, my sofa leg is cracked from poor handling, and my frames are scratched up. No protective equipment was used at all during the move, even for the tv! They had it loose in the truck. The items were directly on the parking lot gravel during loading and unloading. Once the truck was packed, they left before me to go to the storage unit. I stayed behind at the apartment to return my keys and then my car was blocked in by a neighbor so I was even further delayed. I was then worried they would be waiting too long for me since this is a time sensitive job! I arrived to the storage unit to see they still had not arrived. I called to reconfirm he had the correct address and sent them the code for door and elevator access. Once they arrived, I showed them the unit to unload. The head mover asked me to stay and help them by the elevator and the door. I had to excuse myself for a business matter but then they managed to finish without my help which was unnecessary and unprofessional. I asked the head mover to arrange the items so I had space to walk and it was all placed in a disorderly manner. The company itself gave my husband the run around and then said that they could pay us .62 cents for each pound or have their technician come out. That doesn't help if something happens to the fridge in three months due to fallling on its back. The technician proceeded to add insult to injury when he called and spoke with my husband. He said he could replace the power supply and my husband said he wanted the entire fridge looked at to make sure nothing else would go wrong in a month.
