Diggs Haul Moving Company is a black-owned company and was hired and contracted for a long distance move from my home in Atlanta to Houston. Before the movers began the pickup move on August 9, 2022, I walked through my house with the mover's driver and lead person. I pointed out items that needed to stay with the house and in their proper locations, and the lead person acknowledged them all. While the majority of the items discussed and identified remained in the home, the movers removed items that were supposed to stay with the home. They also removed a bathroom mirror. Why??
Furthermore, the movers damaged the wallpaper in my master bedroom. I spoke with their contact person (Alex) on the phone to resolve the matter and he was RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and attempted to play "lawyer" and knew nothing about interpreting the contract. Now, he was courteous BEFORE he swayed me to hiring them. MISTAKE!! I ended up placing a dispute with PayPal for the final payment made. If they do not respond and make good on their error, I will dispute the whole amount which was almost $10k. The low ratings are here for a reason, but I didn't read the Yelp reviews, just the ones on thumbtack and I will leave a 1-star there as well. These folks have been great from start to finish. My move was cross-country from Arizona to Florida. The contracted price and quote was a flat rate which included my car. They communicated frequently particularly before pick-up and during the transport. The price never changed. Our guy was Tommie. He was very professional. He made sure all of our items were loaded with care and braced well. Nothing arrived damaged or broken. They picked up Friday late afternoon and delivered Monday. We are a military family and needed weight tickets. They worked with us to get everything weighed before and after. We will happily use their services again.
