By far this is the worst moving company I ever encountered!! I should've figured that something was off with this company when they ether ones reaching out to me. Finally when I decided to go with them they were (Steven) to get my deposit and the e signature after that I texted them to get an update on the day they were supposed to come but when I texted Steven he said that he would text me back and I never hear from him until it was the moving day. They gave me a window of 9-12pm I waited the entire day which led me to lose my flight to NY. When I texted him he was extremely rude and never got a phone call so I had no other choice than to put my things in storage spending more money because this company failed to do their job. Now I'm trying to get my deposit back and no one is answering my calls or texts. Please read the reviews before you decide to go with them. Short version: Read the negative reviews, they are real and it can easily happen to you! They took my deposit, never provided the services, and will not refund the deposit. They left me stranded on the day of my move and wouldn't answer the phone, text or email until repeated attempts and calling from different numbers. They literally did not show up during the moving window. Adrian Shaw is the person I initially dealt with who went quiet after deposit was received. Rene Carter, reportedly the manager, said she will look into a resolution and also went quiet. Highly avoid hiring this unprofessional company unless you want to be stranded on the day of your move and be out of money. Long version: Booked with this company and Adrian Shaw was the one who asked for a deposit of around $670 (total estimate was $1,700, so about a 40% deposit). They only accept checks or Venmo/Zelle, no credit cards. Adrian Shaw will try to pressure you to "e-sign the agreement" and send the deposit immediately so they can "secure" your position. He wouldn't answer over the phone if the deposit is refundable and kept skirting around the questions (read the terms carefully, do not let them pressure you into e-signing). A day prior to my move, I get a phone call that movers will come between 12-2pm. Ok cool, I take time off work and go home to meet them. They don't show up. I try several times to reach out to their provided number and text Adrian, but no response. Eventually I get a response from their dispatch and they say the driver is on the way as scheduled. I wait, but the driver never shows up. More unanswered calls. Then I am told that the driver had to be pulled to another unexpected job, so they will come later as the driver is in San Francisco (400 miles away from my location...how does that even happen? Mind you they said he was on the way just an hour ago, but had to be "pulled away" 400 miles from here...what??). They then tell me the driver will be there at 10pm. I have no other choice at this point but to wait. Around 9pm, the driver calls me and says "my guys are tired" and says he will be late, will arrive around 2am. Again, no choice so I agree to it. He calls 30 mins later and says how about tomorrow? At this point I am fed up with the games. I said 5am works for me. He said ok let me get back to you. He never gets back to me. They don't show up the next day either. The contract has expired and I had to make alternative arrangements at this point (which cost a lot of money because it was last minute). I then get in touch with Rene Carter the next day, who is reportedly the manager, who tells me the driver was there but we didn't open the door. What?? My family and I were awake all night and no one showed up! We wouldn't miss a big truck right outside our place. Why didn't the driver call me if he truly was outside? (Answer: he wasn't outside and I can provide phone records to prove he never called). Why didn't the company call me the next day to follow up? Either the driver is lying or Rene Carter is lying. She tells me she will clarify with the driver what happened and get back to me. She never gets back to me and it's been 1 month now. It's not worth it to go to court over $670 and they know that. So if you want an unreliable company that will take your money and provide the most unprofessional service imaginable, make your move more stressful than it needs to be, by all means book with them. Short version: Read the negative reviews, they are real and it can easily happen to you! They took my deposit, never provided the services, and will not refund the deposit. They left me stranded on the day of my move and wouldn't answer the phone, text or email until repeated attempts and calling from different numbers. They literally did not show up during the moving window. Adrian Shaw is the person I initially dealt with who went quiet after deposit was received. Rene Carter, reportedly the manager, said she will look into a resolution and also went quiet. Highly avoid hiring this unprofessional company unless you want to be stranded on the day of your move and be out of money. Long version: Booked with this company and Adrian Shaw was the one who asked for a deposit of around $670 (total estimate was $1,700, so about a 40% deposit). They only accept checks or Venmo/Zelle, no credit cards. Adrian Shaw will try to pressure you to "e-sign the agreement" and send the deposit immediately so they can "secure" your position. He wouldn't answer over the phone if the deposit is refundable and kept skirting around the questions (read the terms carefully, do not let them pressure you into e-signing). A day prior to my move, I get a phone call that movers will come between 12-2pm. Ok cool, I take time off work and go home to meet them. They don't show up. I try several times to reach out to their provided number and text Adrian, but no response. Eventually I get a response from their dispatch and they say the driver is on the way as scheduled. I wait, but the driver never shows up. More unanswered calls. Then I am told that the driver had to be pulled to another unexpected job, so they will come later as the driver is in San Francisco (400 miles away from my location...how does that even happen? Mind you they said he was on the way just an hour ago, but had to be "pulled away" 400 miles from here...what??). They then tell me the driver will be there at 10pm. I have no other choice at this point but to wait. Around 9pm, the driver calls me and says "my guys are tired" and says he will be late, will arrive around 2am. Again, no choice so I agree to it. He calls 30 mins later and says how about tomorrow? At this point I am fed up with the games. I said 5am works for me. He said ok let me get back to you. He never gets back to me. They don't show up the next day either. The contract has expired and I had to make alternative arrangements at this point (which cost a lot of money because it was last minute). I then get in touch with Rene Carter the next day, who is reportedly the manager, who tells me the driver was there but we didn't open the door. What?? My family and I were awake all night and no one showed up! We wouldn't miss a big truck right outside our place. Why didn't the driver call me if he truly was outside? We recently used Diamond Pro Van Lines for our cross country move. They are difficult to get ahold of once you have paid your deposit. They arrived several hours late, loading from 8 pm to 4 am. We paid for dish pack but the movers arrived with boxes only. They had to scrounge through their trucks to find newspaper to help cushion my glassware as all stores were closed at the late time. We were under the impression they were packing our kitchen items for us but they did not. This cost was refunded. Once loaded, they did arrive in a timely manner, however, several hours late again. They unloaded from 6 pm to 12 am. They trampled the landscaping, ripped a solid door stop out of the baseboard, pushed the doorknob through the drywall, and left 50% or more of our furniture with damage. For compensation for all of the damage, we were offered $300. Not enough to even cover the cost of the desk they damaged (shattered drawer and broken foot). I have attached photos of the wall, the doorstop, and one furniture item. Would NOT recommend using this company! Read More

However 1 hour after my lawyer started making calls we received a text message from a DIFFERENT moving company than the one Samantha hired that told us our stuff would be delivered the next day. INTERESTING HOW THAT WORKS. The movers attempted to deliver another customer's items to my home such as 2 TVs, a bed frame, and a child's kitchen play set from Ikea. After we pointed out their error we noticed they had this other family's belongings thrown across the road as they searched for our stuff in their Budget rental truck. They ended up losing several of our boxes and pieces of furniture. For example, they delivered our dining room table top but did NOT deliver the table legs. This happened with several furniture items such as my desk, fans, bed frame, etc. In addition, they caused $500-800 in damages including brand new furniture. Furthermore, we mostly likely dealt with 5 or more companies during this move because they all subcontracted one another. Absolutely ridiculous and never once did Samantha or her employees tell us that. I still can't believe she actually hired a company who has been operating for 3 months. But than again, I can absolutely believe that based on her unprofessionalism. Samantha Clay, the owner of Diamond Pro Van Lines, should be bowing her head in shame and be downright embarrassed for operating such a sham of a business.
