I had a horrible experience with this company. Not only did they damage some almost brand new furniture, I found them to be very shady when it came to making a claim, which they denied because I did not see the damaged furniture right away. Some furniture they left without removing the paper wrapping and other items were left in areas where the damage was not visible until I was cleaning around the pieces. The first issue was they were in a huge hurry. I had to send an inventory sheet to get a price for moving rather than an hourly. They were coming in and out very quickly and I kept asking them to please be careful and slow down. They just wanted to get done and leave rather than make sure we were happy and comfortable in how they were handling our items. When they had all in items in, the head mover pressured me to sign a form to finish and leave. At this time, I was never presented any opportunity to check their work, our furniture, etc. Hind sight says I should of said no, I will inspect everything first, but they led me to believe if I kept them any longer they were going to start charging me overtime fees so I let them leave. I had damage to glassware in boxes that had been wrappers with lots of bubble wrap and paper but I have a feeling they were just shoved around d quickly, maybe even dropped. Three new pieces of furniture that were only 1 1/2 years old were damaged. Not just a scratch, but large chunks of wood just plain missing from the sides. They had to have noticed on a couple they had removed the paper from, but I suspect they did not let me know because the items were placed in corners of the room where the damage was hidden. Unfortunately, I did not notice right away and was shocked when I did. Once I realized I had so much damage, I reached back out and one rep told me to take a lot of photos and make a written claim to email and be detailed. We needed our stuff stored for a few days while carpeting & flooring were being installed after a fall flood. D&D sent out a truck with three workers, they packed and loaded the truck and took it to storage for a week. When they returned it, we saw that they had not marked the boxes so they could be returned to the room they came from, some items were just put in garbage bags, this included an antique lamp. Also inside the bag with the lamp was a wooden stool, no extra wrapping on either of them just them and a keyboard all together in a garbage bag. They unloaded and just stuck most boxes in as close to the door as they could with the exception of the bed frames and mattresses. The lamp was damaged, and when D&D was contacted afterwards, their reply was you signed the release so it’s on you. The driver presents you with the release as soon as the truck is unloaded, not when the boxes are opened and items are inspected. If we had done that, the driver and helper would have been here for hours waiting on us. So my suggestion to anyone using them is don’t sign release until everything is unpacked. The guy that packed it did not return with the driver and helper. The driver and his helper were very nice young men, and super polite as well. But the companies stand might be legal but if they are smart, they’d pay for the small damages just to not get unfavorable reviews where they might lose a job to a company with better reviews, as they say, stepping over dollars to pick up pennies.
This is an added comment after conversation with responder, If their was no agreement to pack any items, why did they pack items? Brought in boxes and packing paper as well, and they packed stuff that was lose and needed to be put in boxes etc. Read More

This company rocks!! We hired them to move our 5,000 square foot office. We assumed it would take all day and then some, but their crew was awesome and finished in about 5 hours. The guys were super friendly, and made the whole experience actually enjoyable. The guys were joking with each other and they all had great attitudes all day.
