I called for an estimate and let them know I was shopping around and would call them back if I decided to go with their service. They called me twice after, of which I didn't answer. Fair enough-they're trying to earn a commission. Then called again today. I was on a run so the first call I sent to voicemail. Within seconds, they called again. I answered and said "please stop calling me" then hung up. They called AGAIN. I answered and said "please stop calling or I'll contact the Better Business Bureau" and hung up. Well, you're not gonna believe this, but they called a FOURTH time after asking them to stop. I answered and immediately pressed the end button. Guess what? They called a FIFTH time. If I could rate them a negative 100 review I would!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM. They work with local movers and don't do a good job of vetting them out. My elderly parents moved across the country after 45 years in one place. They TRUSTED Compass, but they got so burned. Long story short- (their delivery was delayed btw) all of their boxes and suitcases had water damage and what looked like cement all over them. They also had an antique wooden swing that was completely broken. AND they are STILL missing 12 boxes. I've left 7 messages for Compass Moving and NO ONE has called me back. I've also sent countless emails. They told me to submit a claim, which I did. The insurance company responded back saying they don't work with Compass Moving. Again, I left more messages and sent more emails and NOTHING. NO RESPONSIBILITY. NO RESPONSE AT ALL!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!! Read More

- Delivery date: 1/18/2022 to Florida. Received 1 hour instead of 24 hour notice
- Time in transit: 34 business days excluding holidays and weekends
- Highschool kids hired as professional movers on the delivery: Male 17 years old, male 19, female 18. They had no experience, did not have a tool box, and smelled like marijuana.
- Multiple broken and missing items such as $850 broken vintage mirror, $1500 shattered vanity, $3000 dining room table scratched and dented and so on. Missing $1000 patio furniture.
Absolutely avoid this company if you are moving from one state to another state. It took them 34 business days to deliver our furniture. Compass sub-contracted the move to a carrier, Seven Stars Movers DOT 3268092, to pick-up our furniture on 11/27/2021. I have called and emailed this carrier more than 25 times but no one takes responsibility regarding unjustified delays and mishandling of our furniture. Brandon Ageloff, CEO of Compass Moving Group, is not professional and he has not taken any responsibility for not honoring their contractual obligations. He hung up the phone on me on 1/18/2022 stating "I wanted to give you $400 but now I am not going to give you anything". He retaliated against me since I filed a complaint with FMCSA and contacted the Better Business Bureau regarding his Company's sub-standard service and negligence which have caused my family so much emotional anguish and loss of thousands of dollars.
I would highly recommend not to do business with Compass Moving Group because you will regret it. Imagine living with your family in a house without any furniture for 34 business days or 51 days. Does that make your life hell? if the answer is yes, then move on and find an ethical and respectable broker who might deserve your business and hard-earned money.
