DO NOT USE!! We had three nice guys but tried to get us to sign off on all things right when they got there basically so they knew we wouldn’t be able to say they damaged anything if they did. Which they did. My husband DID NOT sign off before. They didn’t wrap anything. I paid for wrapping on my own and pre wrapped a few things assuming they would still use the blankets or their wrap to do a professional job. Didn’t happen and after we realized it they said we had to pay extra.( the local manager that was called to our house when we sent them home before the second load) confirmed they did so many things wrong. Lied about us paying. Which we would have paid for wrapping to avoid all the scratches and black marks on our mattresses (which I also bought bags for and they were still damaged through because they let them fall off and not cover) my box springs to my motorized bed was being pushed on the truck with zero protection and then when the shoving and squeezing or the furniture didn’t work he took out and push on the cement driveway roughing it up. He said we were being picky about the black stains and they “can be washed out”. The response was mostly nice and apologetic from the local branch but we were told our damaged couch would be picked up the following Monday and when he left that Thursday we have been in no contact and now won’t return calls. They were mostly gentle with the boxes but every nice piece of furniture/bed we have was damaged/scratch in some way and a couch that is totally broken and still at the old house waiting to be picked up….and the house will be closed on to the new buyer soon. Past e-mail with total value and optional for 8 hours of service considering closing the full budget. To reduce our costs we close a proposal to pack and they only pack the large furniture, load and unload ONLY THAT. Understanding that the hours would be shorter and the cost as well. The shorter the time, the lower the value/hour. The day of the move arrives, a delay of 15 minutes, but ok. 4 boys and two trucks arrive, one big and the other medium. We noticed two experienced and two inexperienced boys. Everything they did asked the experienced (John and PJ) what took the service. We moved to a new house and left walls with chips and dirt, I have registered them all. And John also registered to take to the company. They splinters from my new bed bought at Ikea. John (employee) and I recorded photos. In the end what was supposed to be a cost and stress-free refreshment, there was a lot of discomfort. The change was supposed to take place predicting 5 hours, it took almost 10 hours. The boys were physically exhausted and we also had no end to the service. Finally, we paid much more than what was budgeted because of the error of the technical visit. Calculated the wrong labor. The employee himself admitted that they made a mistake and I recorded our conversation with them about this discontent. We are still waiting for an opinion from the company on what was reported to the boys. And so far nothing. We facilitate the service of the boys as much as possible by leaving the boxes packed, leaving only the large furniture to pack and even so we pay much more for the complete package. We had an absolutely terrible experience with the moving crew we hired in Greenville, SC. The local manager was very difficult to work with beforehand, and when I raised concerns about the irresponsible way that our belongings were handled and stacked, he dismissed and insulted me. I kept asking how he was going to make this awful situation better, and he refused. We hired a three person team to move items from our apartment to a POD we rented. Before beginning, we discussed which items and packages were fragile, the advice that PODS had for how to pack, and a game plan. None of this was heeded. I found large plastic tubs of clothes stacked on top of cardboard boxes marked “China - fragile” and “glass - fragile.” Cardboard boxes were left soaked in the rain, even after we discussed that all cardboard needed to be wrapped in plastic or put in a trash bag. Original artworks were ruined in the rain. The attached photos show how precariously antique furniture was stacked. The padding, ratchet straps, and bungee cords we provided were not used. Called to set an appointment about two weeks before the home was closed on. Asked my realtor for a recommendation she took a pool of the realtors and 3 of 4 recommended them. The lady who handled my appointment schedule at the toll free number was very polite and set up the appointment with ease. The local guy was very understanding and polite as well. On moving day the guys showed up on time they gave me a text when they left the store they went to my parents home first then the apartment and then to the destination. They were very efficient and quick. They were also very polite. The hunks part is explained on the pic of the truck that I posted. It was a very nice experience as far as moving goes and pretty reasonable w the price as well. Would definitely use them again as well as recommend them to family and friends. There wasn't much to report that is negative. when I think about it nothing really. Very positive about this company plus they donated two meals to charity w every move. Read More
