What a joke… we called for a quote to remove a junk fridge. The phone number leads to a call center in Tampa where they misquoted the price over the phone. Mistakes happen, but not honoring your quotes is disappointing. Regardless, they showed up with a box truck, entered my driveway, and proceeded to leave a long and deep scratch. The claims department said that after a review, our claim is denied and gave no followup as to why. They proceeded to defend their “quote”. So now, I have a broken fridge still that I need to pay another service to remove, and a deep scratch in my driveway that they expect me to pay out of pocket for to repair. Will never use this service again, should've stayed with Good Greek. Devon, PBC manager, was not helpful in resolving this dispute in an appropriate fashion. Pics of my driveway below. STAY FAR AWAY!!! EDIT: (since I can’t reply) They have commented below with the call center number that has already been contacted. They have no intention of further resolving this situation. Update on March 5th -- Good movers, HORRIBLE post-move service! I had decided to edit my review so everyone can avoid going through this. I moved on January 5th, 2023 and one furniture is damaged on my moving day -- apparently they did not have enough blankets to cover everything so my IKEA coffee table was scratched on the surface, and the bottom piece was damaged (see pictures attached below). I contacted the Claim department right after the moving, didn't expect much since the table was not expensive but it WAS damaged during the move so I had to do something. Pictures with details were sent to them and after 15 days they decided to mail me a check which has the same price as my IKEA table. Sounds like a great offer right? Except that this check was NEVER mailed. The claim was filed on Jan 9th and since I no longer use their service, the reply has been extremely slow. I have to follow up multiple times and only received one reply on Feb 27 asking if I received my check. No, I never received the check and I DO NOT THINK IT WILL EVER BE MAILED. All I can say is, if you decide to use this company, please ask them to bring many many blankets (it is always better to be safe) once they damage your furniture, you will never have a real solution. Below was my original review, at first I really want to delete it but I do appreciate my movers, they are great people. But I will not use this company again. Earl and Kevin are my movers today and they are awesome! They called me in the morning to confirm the arrival time and I’m so grateful that they are willing to wait for me to pack my stuff before driving the truck to the house. They are really nice, polite, punctual and the moving is very efficient. Most of my furnitures were very well protected during the move and no scratches were made to the walls in both properties — these two are really important to me therefore I’m very satisfied! Scam Level 100! If you want to be scammed while your time is wasted, by all means call these people. I was having a simple piece of furniture removed that was even already disassembled. The booking process was simple and the guy gave me a ballpark price based on 1/4 a truck. I knew there would be a problem when the foreman called me and started talking about the size of the truck he is driving that day. I told them if it's going to be hundreds of dollars don't bother showing up but he assures me it will be fine so I wait for them to show. When they do, there is suddenly a surprise high rise fee past the 5th floor (they had my address at booking). On top of it I am told my furniture is 1/2-1 full truck load, and when I point to his truck I was told his huge truck is actually considered 3 truck loads. When I became noticeably upset with them, surprise surprise the fees started to magically come down but that just further illustrated the scam game they were playing from the start. Needless to say the furniture remained and I sent them away. I subsequently and immediately filed the appropriate bait and switch paperwork with the FTC which everyone should do when treated this way. This is a highly regulated industry and these are exactly the type of predatory business practices that need to be highlighted and brought to an end and as far as I am concerned they painted their own bullseye, so don't fault me for taking aim.
