Working with Southbay Moving Systems for my move has been a fantastic experience. They are professional, very attentive to detail and, above all, they handled my belongings with care. Miguel and his team communicated with me every step of the way and answered any questions I had. As someone who is in the process of transitioning from military life to civilian life, they are by far the best moving company I have had the pleasure of working with throughout my career. I normally do not write reviews, but I am very impressed with this company and its employees. Most moving companies I've worked with tend to rush the packing and cut corners, this one did not. This is the second time we have used Spartan Movers. They are on time, courteous, and reasonably priced with no hidden add-ons. I found the team cared about the work they did. They were very professional and made sure our items were packed appropriately and our furniture was blanket-wrapped. Upon arrival at our new location, they made sure the boxes were put in the appropriate rooms and asked where we would like the furniture located. If you need a recommendation, this is the company for you. I know I will call them again. Read More

Cardinale Moving & Storage is owned and operated by the Cardinale family; Monterey natives, having lived more than 70 years on the Peninsula. In June of 1972, after having managed the company for approximately ten years, Sal & Angie Cardinale purchased the moving company and a family business was born. Over the years, the company continued to grow, Sal & Angie both worked full-time to make their moving services company a success and now three of their four children, Vince Cardinale, Roseann (Orelebeck), and Sally Cardinale plus their grandson, Adam Orlebeck play integral parts in the business today. Cardinale Moving & Storage has won numerous awards, most recently, being named United-Mayflower Containers Dealer of the Year in 2010 for their Portable Storage Container Division. This Division is spearheaded by Adam Orlebeck. In 2009, Cardinale Moving & Storage was the winner of the California Moving & Storage Association’s prestigious Pinnacle Award. This award recognizes the outstanding California mover whose commitment to ethical business practices helps to portray the Moving and Storage Industry in a positive light within the community. The North Monterey County Chamber of Commerce named Cardinale Moving & Storage Business of the Year in 2008. President, Vince Cardinale, is in charge of the day to day operations of the company and was the 2008-2009 Chairman of the California Moving & Storage Association. Roseann Orlebeck is the company’s Chief Financial Officer and is also the 2010-2011 President of the Castroville Rotary Club; plus she was the recipient of the North Monterey County Chamber of Commerce 2010 Community Service Spirit Award. Sally Cardinale is in charge of Human Resources and also handles the new furniture receiving and distribution division of the company working closely with interior designers and hospitality logistics firms.

This is my second time working with Fairprice Movers, and I can still say it's the best decision. They not only have the best price, they also bring 3 movers instead of 2 like every other moving company (trust me, I got spammed by other moving companies with many quotes) Movers arrived on time, called 30 minutes before to give me a heads up. Took them 2 hours to move my one bedroom (to a third floor w no stairs!!). They were super efficient and I do not know how but they didn't stop for a second. All my belongings made it to the new place with not even a scratch and old place was in perfect conditions afterwards. Read More
