I recently had the experience of using Burris Moving services, and overall, the service provided by Jarvis and Mikail was a mix of positive and negative aspects.
On the positive side, both Jarvis and Mikail were exceptionally professional and friendly throughout the moving process. Their demeanor made what is often a stressful experience more manageable, and their attention to detail in handling my belongings was commendable.
However, I couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed when it came to the logistics of the move. One notable issue was the absence of tools for disassembling and reassembling furniture. While the movers were skilled in their work, it was surprising that they didn't come equipped with the necessary tools for such a common aspect of moving. I ended up lending them my tools, which, although not a major inconvenience, was unexpected.
The more significant hiccup occurred when it became apparent that the hardware needed for reassembly had been overlooked and left behind at the original location. This oversight meant that I had to make an additional trip to retrieve the hardware, causing an unnecessary delay in completing the job. It's worth noting that this added inconvenience could have been avoided with better attention to detail and a thorough checklist.
These issues collectively added up, and I couldn't help but feel that the job could have been completed at least an hour earlier if these mishaps hadn't occurred. While I appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of Jarvis and Mikail, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of preparation and thoroughness in the logistics of the moving process.
