Terrible company. If you value your time and your possessions then I’d avoid BLVD Moving at all costs. Essentially the fine print of the contract you sign with them gives them no incentive to be on time or to not damage your items. If they arrive 3 days after they’re contracted to it only costs them $30. If they damage thousands of dollars worth of items they only pay 60 cents for every pound they destroyed. For me they did about $2000 worth of damages and offered me roughly $150 in compensation. This was after an overly complicated claim process designed specifically for them to throw out your claim if you make one small error. They were 3 days late on both pick up and delivery, but made sure to waste my time by telling me they were on their way the entire time. They even tried to hide damaged items from me by moving them into my storage unit before I could catch the damage. They also delivered someone else’s items to me and had I not caught it they would of just left them behind. Read More

Essentially the fine print of the contract you sign with them gives them no incentive to be on time or to not damage your items. If they arrive 3 days after they’re contracted to it only costs them $30. If they damage thousands of dollars worth of items they only pay 60 cents for every pound they destroyed. For me they did about $2000 worth of damages and offered me roughly $150 in compensation. This was after an overly complicated claim process designed specifically for them to throw out your claim if you make one small error. Long story short the customer service provided by Rosa was beyond horrible and unprofessional. Contacted Teo the owner and had my phone call transferred to Rosa. The foreman was very unprofessional and demeaning to me. Additionally, at least 2 of the packers had no idea what they were doing. Even after guidance, they were about to dump all of my office desk drawers into a box. When the foreman first walked in my house, we went room by room, and he told me all of the boxes would be marked by room. That was my expectation because I have had professional movers before. I just expected that as "table stakes." When I noticed that many boxes in the dining room had been packed and moved outside with NO labels as to what room they were from or what might be inside (like a general label, "china"), I brought it up to the foreman. He acted very annoyed (at me). He went and asked the packers to start doing this. They still didn't do it, so I went back to him and asked him again. He was getting more annoyed, and I was very intimidated by him. Finally, my son and I followed the packers around marking boxes. I told them not to close any box until I could see what was in it and where it came from. This meant that my son and I were working 10 hours doing this. This is NOT what you pay professional packers for. And, I paid a over $30K. At one point, customer service called me to ask how it was going. I told that person it was terrible and gave her the reasons why. They then called the foreman. Then, the foreman was really passive aggressive towards me (even more so). I felt very uncomfortable with him in my home. His attitude towards me was that he would just leave with his crew. At one point the foreman told me that just because the packers spoke Spanish didn't make them stupid. I was appalled and insulted, because in NO WAY did I ever imply that. The foreman said they would be marking the boxes by room - and that wasn't happening. That day really goes down in history as one of the worst days of my life BECAUSE of Blvd Movers. When my belongings arrived at the destination, the unpackers were amazing, and I was so thankful for them. I submitted a damage claim for $6,537.02 - with 38 pages of proof. The claims people approved a little over a hundred dollars, which is ridiculous. I did not sign acceptance of this, because it was ridiculous. Order No: 30136840 If I could give them a zero, I would. We used them for our move from Cali to TX. They loaded up their truck on JULY 24 and our items barely arrived on AUGUST 15. We're a TWO-day drive away from Cali, not on the East coast. It was a TERRIBLE experience working with them. They also LOST one of our boxes! BOBBY quoted us one number. We signed the contract and the quote kept going up. My mom spoke with THEO and MARITZA, their Spanish salespeople, they lied to her and said their company could install her fridge and washing machine, turns out their movers couldn't do that at all. Our stuff arrived, boxes were broken, one of our televisions was also broken, and our fridge was also scratched up. That was another issue I kept encountering with them, they told my mom one thing and told me the complete opposite. During the midst of this process, it was also hard to get a hold of them. My mom kept calling them and they wouldn't pick up. PLUS, we had to keep calling them to get an ETA for our things. I want to file a claim, but their documentation states THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for damages done to electronics, fridges, etc. If your stuff is broken, it's because of the road. Basically, they've done everything to prevent taking responsibility for the DAMAGES THEY CAUSED. Also, I've been calling to leave a complaint and no one picks up the phone. I REALLY want to complain to the SALES DIRECTOR, their team did a terrible job. If you're going to yell at anyone, do NOT yell at customer service because they are not the ones who arranged all of this, it was the sales team (Bobby, Theo, and Maritza) and dispatchers who made a mess of things. Honestly, it felt like they took advantage of our situation. We signed the contract and they could care less afterward. My mom kept calling them and they wouldn't pick up. PLUS, we had to keep calling them to get an ETA for our things. I want to file a claim, but their documentation states THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for damages done to electronics, fridges, etc. If your stuff is broken, it's because of the road. Basically, they've done everything to prevent taking responsibility for the DAMAGES THEY CAUSED. Also, I've been calling to leave a complaint and no one picks up the phone. I REALLY want to complain to the SALES DIRECTOR, their team did a terrible job. If you're going to yell at anyone, do NOT yell at customer service because they are not the ones who arranged all of this, it was the sales team (Bobby, Theo, and Maritza) and dispatchers who made a mess of things. This company is completely unethical. I put a deposit down to lock in my price of $4,400 and I ended up paying $700 more (over $5,000). They bait and switch and then justify it by saying they sent emails with the higher price even though the amount of items was exactly the same (see attached inventory list). On top of that, they nickel and dime you when they delivery your furniture. I made a $100 deposit (don't pay it!) assuming that my original quote of $4,400 would be honored. Not a few days later (see date on attached quote), they raise the price to $5,050 and send it in tiny font, which I assumed would have the same price I paid a deposit for. Not the case. When I confronted them about this, they said they sent emails about the higher price. Well sorry, if I put a deposit down for a price and nothing in the item list changes, why is it higher? (Everything was the same, even the fuel surcharge in both lists). On top of that, on the day of delivery they charge me $75 for I don't remember what even as I'm calling them out on the $700 jacked up price, essentially holding my stuff hostage. And they wanted to double charge me for a rental truck I had already paid for because they didn't have a record of it on hand. They should get 0 starts if that was possible. If you don't have time to read this entire post, read this- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR MOVING!!! I'm sad to say that I've done a lot of research about moving companies and tried to avoid falling into their "traps" but this company found every way possible to make the already stressful process of moving even worst. We had sent them photos of our furniture prior to moving, to make sure they won't change the price on us (which seems to be a trick moving companies do!) However, on the day they showed up to pick up our furniture, they claimed there is "not enough square feet claimed on the order" for our furniture. I explained we sent photos and measurements ahead of time? but the guy on site said the salesperson on the phone didn't add enough space (not my problem as the customer!!) but a way for them to try and extort more money- Our quote went from $4k to over $7k... somehow. $3000 difference! We were told they would bring all the packing materials, at no extra charge, all the sudden they said they need to pack our TV and certain furniture and it will be additional $75 a piece!!! I asked why this was not communicated before? since we sent pictures, but of course they had no good answer (bait and switch tactic at its finest). Dishonestly and lack of transparency. After hours of arguing on the phone with their office, being hung up by their rude staff (Robert), we finally told them to kindly leave and that we were going to order a pod. We were not willing to all the sudden add extra $3k when they knew exactly what we had ahead of time. On their way out - their boss called and said he will "honor the original price". Ghee thanks! After SO MUCH ARGUING and hours wasted at that point. They originally said delivery normally would take 5-7 days to arrive. Turns out- it's 21 days from the date you're available to accept the furniture. This was not communicated to us- they made it sound like 21 days is a rare situation- we ended up being without our stuff for 20 business days. Terrible, misleading communication on their end. AFTER 20 DAYS, when they finally were willing to deliver our stuff- They sent only one person (to deliver a 3 bedroom house)!!! and an older gentleman who was the driver. It was like watching your grandpa carrying heavy furniture, truly sad, didn't make sense and shouldn't have happened. Another example of their lack of professionalism, and absurdity. Furthermore, they showed up to our residential neighborhood with a huge SEMI!!! We have a regular size street, and a very big and wide yard and driveway, however they blamed our street and our driveway and said they now have to charge us extra because their truck (a SEMITRAILER!!!) can't make the turn into our driveway!!! Another way to extort money!! Who in their right mind with best intentions tries to deliver with a semitrailer to a residential neighbourhood!!!?!?! They lacked the ability to deliver, because they were too cheap to get the actual truck needed to make deliveries - and they blame it on the customer. The delivery guy tried convincing me that if I give him $200 he will carry all the stuff from the street up our driveway.. but his price kept changing.. it was like a HOSTAGE SITUATION negotiating the delivery of our furniture after we already paid good money for it. They ended up going to a local Uhaul to rent a truck that they can move all our stuff into and drive into the driveway.... talking about frustration and inefficiency... they tried lying and telling us the Uhaul will cost $250, then $300, when I called Uhaul it was only $75... lying thieves. Furthermore, the delivery guy and older driver were hungry!! They were asking me for food!!! I felt so bad for them, clearly this company wasn't treating them well. It was sad. The service we paid for initially said they are suppose to deliver the furniture to the designated rooms, put them back together if it was taken apart, and take out any packing trash left behind. It was already late and the guy by himself was miserable and clearly couldn't have gotten it all done by himself till midnight! so we told him to leave. We were now stuck with carrying it out ourselves and cleaning all the boxes and packing trash left behind.. MOST OF OUR FURNITURE WAS BROKEN!!!! Their moving blankets stained our white headboard, they BROKE BOTH bedroom nightstands, CRACKED our end table, cracked an end table, COMPLETELY BROKE our wardrobe, damaged our bench, and more.. AFTER 20 DAYS, when they finally were willing to deliver our stuff- They sent only one person (to deliver a 3 bedroom house)!!! and an older gentleman who was the driver. Furthermore, they showed up to our residential neighborhood with a huge SEMI!!! We have a regular size street, and a very big and wide yard and driveway, however they blamed our street and our driveway and said they now have to charge us extra because their truck (a SEMITRAILER!!!) can't make the turn into our driveway!!! Another way to extort money!! Who in their right mind with best intentions tries to deliver with a semitrailer to a residential neighbourhood!!!?!?! They lacked the ability to deliver, because they were too cheap to get the actual truck needed to make deliveries - and they blame it on the customer. The delivery guy tried convincing me that if I give him $200 he will carry all the stuff from the street up our driveway.. but his price kept changing.. it was like a HOSTAGE SITUATION negotiating the delivery of our furniture after we already paid good money for it. They ended up going to a local Uhaul to rent a truck that they can move all our stuff into and drive into the driveway.... talking about frustration and inefficiency... they tried lying and telling us the Uhaul will cost $250, then $300, when I called Uhaul it was only $75... lying thieves. Furthermore, the delivery guy and older driver were hungry!! They were asking me for food!!! I felt so bad for them, clearly this company wasn't treating them well. It was sad. The service we paid for initially said they are suppose to deliver the furniture to the designated rooms, put them back together if it was taken apart, and take out any packing trash left behind. It was already late and the guy by himself was miserable and clearly couldn't have gotten it all done by himself till midnight! so we told him to leave. We were now stuck with carrying it out ourselves and cleaning all the boxes and packing trash left behind.. MOST OF OUR FURNITURE WAS BROKEN!!!! Their moving blankets stained our white headboard, they BROKE BOTH bedroom nightstands, CRACKED our end table, cracked an end table, COMPLETELY BROKE our wardrobe, damaged our bench, and more.. THE WHOLE PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH WAS A NIGHTMARE!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY!!! They should get 0 starts if that was possible. If you don't have time to read this entire post, read this- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR MOVING!!! I'm sad to say that I've done a lot of research about moving companies and tried to avoid falling into their "traps" but this company found every way possible to make the already stressful process of moving even worst. We had sent them photos of our furniture prior to moving, to make sure they won't change the price on us (which seems to be a trick moving companies do!) However, on the day they showed up to pick up our furniture, they claimed there is "not enough square feet claimed on the order" for our furniture. I explained we sent photos and measurements ahead of time? but the guy on site said the salesperson on the phone didn't add enough space (not my problem as the customer!!) but a way for them to try and extort more money- Our quote went from $4k to over $7k... somehow. $3000 difference! We were told they would bring all the packing materials, at no extra charge, all the sudden they said they need to pack our TV and certain furniture and it will be additional $75 a piece!!! I asked why this was not communicated before? since we sent pictures, but of course they had no good answer (bait and switch tactic at its finest). Dishonestly and lack of transparency. After hours of arguing on the phone with their office, being hung up by their rude staff (Robert), we finally told them to kindly leave and that we were going to order a pod. We were not willing to all the sudden add extra $3k when they knew exactly what we had ahead of time. On their way out - their boss called and said he will "honor the original price". Ghee thanks! After SO MUCH ARGUING and hours wasted at that point. They originally said delivery normally would take 5-7 days to arrive. Turns out- it's 21 days from the date you're available to accept the furniture. The crew picking the furniture in San Jose were fine, efficient and careful. The crew of three dropping off the furniture were OK, one of the guys was quite lazy and only half-heartedly put the furniture back together. The guys took note of the damaged furniture on their delivery sheets, but refused to provide a copy of their note, nor let me take a photo of the notes they took. I only have photos of the damaged furniture. Anyway, the biggest concern is when you email or call to report damaged furniture and seek some resolution. They told me that the claims person was sick and that they would be back on Monday. I was patient and called back on Monday but the claims person was still not in the office, so I tried customer service. I called every few days attempting to find out what is going on--at this point, I've already had to pay for the wall and they can't even get it fixed anymore. I started calling other numbers at the company, people would answer and say "We'll get you transferred to someone that can help" and nobody would answer, then that extension would begin ignoring my calls. Nobody at the company answers my phone calls anymore. At this point, I thought I would have to speak with the next foreman to see how to get my wall fixed. It was a contractor who did not work for BLVD (very nice) and he was here alone. I had to help him move my own stuff in and as we began to unwrap things, I started noticing scratches and chips on things until finally, we opened my night stand and the shelf just dropped out with the screws all stripped out of the wood. They packed my sheets and my lamp in the same box so my sheets were filled with shattered glass when I pulled them out of the box. The contractor told me to write a note and he said that he would show it to them when they got the paperwork, nobody has contacted me. I have called almost every day since at all times of the day, morning, afternoon, evening--nobody. I wanted to give the company the benefit of the doubt considering the great price and the convenience that the sales person provided but I spent more money, felt neglected, confused, I have to live with damages, and I have to find a new night stand. FRAUD. EXTORTION. TARDY. CON ARTISTS. I've been patiently waiting for 22 days to write this review but I couldn't as they were holding my missing items captive. This is a terrible moving company that delivered my priceless items (my recently deceased mother's possessions) very late. After a tardy delivery date, I got a call from ZOE (an uncompassionate diabolical individual) who informed me that my items would be arriving later that afternoon, but because they can't fit the 18 wheeler truck in San Francisco, I was presented with the ultimatum of either meeting them outside of the city to pick up my furniture OR pay a shuttle fee of $300 to receive my items at the ORIGINAL, ON CONTRACT, negotiated location, my home. I thought this was ridiculous as they knew my location was in San Francisco since the day we signed the moving contract, but they sprung this on me the morning of my delivery. There was zero reasoning with the BLVD's dispatcher, ZOE, who was quick to scream at me the second I calmly argued the shuttle fee. I had no choice but to agree to the fee as I don't have a truck or the help to move a bunch of furniture from outside the city to my home. When the truck arrived I was SHOCKED to see that there was in fact, NO SHUTTLE and that they arrived in a large truck with their company logos all over it (see photos). When I questioned the delivery driver, he was hesitant but confirmed that my items had been on this truck for two days as they had been making several deliveries throughout California with that truck. This was just a last-minute scam to get more money out of a person who was helpless as the company had their possessions. WHAT COULD I DO?!? I decided to give ZOE a call back and have a calm, civil, conversation with her but her attitude went from bad to worse and this sent her temper SOARING! She screamed at me and THREATEND to take and dispose of my deceased mother's belongings if I didn't pay the $300 immediately. The fact that ZOE has a job in customer service is remarkable, but the fact ZOE can say such cruel/hurtful things to someone is astonishing. I have NEVER been talked to the way ZOE talked to me. I was so upset. After paying the petty money, the movers unloaded the truck, and I noticed several things were BROKEN and two boxes were MISSING. One of the broken items was the leg of my mother's favorite antique chair that they DRILLED A HUGE SCREW into to hold it together and try to hide from me (see pictures). The delivery drivers took note of the broken/missing items and informed me I must take it up with customer support. As you can imagine, this would be road to nowhere. By all of my unanswered voice messages/emails, I would be hard pressed to believe that there is a customer support branch at BLVD Moving Company, and that they have any intention of paying to fix my broken items or return the missing ones. I told this story to a friend that happens to live in LA and bless her heart, she volunteered to pick up the missing items from BLVD Moving Company's warehouse. I had to call the company's sales line to get through to someone and after several unreturned calls, I finally got a salesperson to go to the warehouse and bring my missing packages to the office so my friend could pick them up. By now, you should know to avoid this company by all costs and if you get them contracted though United Moving Company like I did, simply let United know that you would prefer they pick a different carrier. Very happy with the service. Rarely I want to add a review. These guys came to WORK! and READY! I thought I was going to have to take some of my staff myself because it needed extra care but these guys came ready to wrap, accommodate well and quickly all of my staff. A huge plus - they were ok with all my requests after moving things into new place I changed my mind about placing furniture and they were happy to help - gosh I don't see that anymore so I'm amazed and happy so I had to ask for their names in case if you want to make sure you want the same service. My wife and I just moved from CA to TX (literally the movers dropped everything off yesterday) and the lack of care and damage left on our furniture and other items is simply mind blowing. I've moved plenty of times in my life and I know a few things are going to get broken, but we've had over $7,500+ of damage to our items (hole in the back of our almost new leather couch, two cracked computer screens, three bent and cracked side tables, a cracked coffee table, a chair with a bent leg, bent TV mounts, soiled and ruined clothing and sheets...the list could go on for a long time (and we're still finding things because we just received everything yesterday). We haven't even started the insurance process yet -- but there is really no excuse for the lack of care this company has treated our stuff. The movers who delivered our stuff apologized and were very nice, but that doesn't do anything to compensate us or replace our damaged possessions. UPDATE 4/19 - BLVD moving hasn't apologized for the damage and offered us $140 to cover the damages - that's not a typo, they offered us $140 for the $7500+ of damage they caused. BLVD MOVING picked up my belongings September 6,2020 and didn't deliver to me until November 6,2020. They raised my cost by $1400 from the binding estimate price when they picked up my belongings. They did not provide me with a Bill of Lading. I did not receive it until 9/12/20 when I continually asked for it. The Bill of Lading doesn't have the correct pick up address or destination address and a very vague list of my items.They held my belongings in their warehouse for two months. I had to contact them several times and Dispatch kept giving me excuses for not delivering sooner because of Covid and mechanical problems, although they have several complaints about the same problem way before Covid. It wasn't until I told them that I was going to come get my belongings that they set a firm delivery date. When they finally delivered my belongings, my Christmas tree box was missing and my Christmas ornaments box lid was missing and all of the handmade Christmas ornaments and Gourd necklaces inside were stolen. These are unique and handmade pine needle Christmas ornaments and gourd necklaces that I sell in my business so now I have incurred a $358.00 loss in sales and have to purchase another Christmas tree for my store at $75.00. I think it's ironic that the Christmas tree and Christmas ornaments are missing together. When I contacted them to file a claim they sent me an email telling to call their claims department. The 1st number they gave me says the mailbox is full and can't accept any more messages. The 2nd number is disconnected and no longer in service. I realize that I probably will never see my products that were stolen again but I feel that I should be compensated and this company should be investigated for fraudulent services. Broker or moving company did not provide me with a copy of the "Your rights and responsibilities when you move" pamphlet and the "Ready to move" brochure. Moving company did not provide a written description of their complaint or inquiry process. Moving company did not honor a binding estimate. Broker provided estimates much lower than the actual charges from moving company. Moving company did not provide an opportunity for me to observe the weighing. I was not notified of a delay in the delivery of my goods until after they had already moved my belongings to their warehouse. Moving Company is not responding to my complaint or inquiry. Read More

The 1st number they gave me says the mailbox is full and can't accept any more messages. The 2nd number is disconnected and no longer in service. I realize that I probably will never see my products that were stolen again but I feel that I should be compensated and this company should be investigated for fraudulent services. BLVD MOVING picked up my belongings September 6,2020 and didn't deliver to me until November 6,2020. They raised my cost by $1400 from the binding estimate price when they picked up my belongings. They did not provide me with a Bill of Lading. I did not receive it until 9/12/20 when I continually asked for it. The Bill of Lading doesn't have the correct pick up address or destination address and a very vague list of my items.They held my belongings in their warehouse for two months. I had to contact them several times and Dispatch kept giving me excuses for not delivering sooner because of Covid and mechanical problems, although they have several complaints about the same problem way before Covid. It wasn't until I told them that I was going to come get my belongings that they set a firm delivery date. Let's begin by saying that picking any mover through reviews is terrifying. And if you think any mover is going to get you your belongings quickly and safely, you're sadly going to be disappointed. Every company had terrible reviews, especially for long distance hauls. I was moving form Oakland, CA to Caribou, ME and the end I simply choose BLVD due to the fact that Alex came out and took an inventory of what was being shipped and I liked the quote. I realize I had literally thrown my hands in the air and left things to fate but I was willing to live with that choice. The short answer of how the move went was this. The company arrived when they said they would for the pick up and two guys were polite, attentive and got the job done. I placed only three calls to dispatch after my shipment had been picked up. The calls were each answered promptly and politely and the third required a call back which I received in a timely manner. Finally my shipment arrived within the contract specified timeframe with no damages or losses. (Not counting the two bottles of hot sauce that froze and ruptured within the freezer bags I had placed them in.) All considered, this seems like a very successful and stressless move. Just face it, the farther you move the longer you will be without your stuff. I can't imagine any other company could promise anything more than BLVD provided for my move. If there is one thing I didn't like. I was told, on more than one occasion, that they guaranteed a 23 business day turn around on the shipment but if you read the contract it states **and I quote** "Any oral promises made regarding delivery or pick up dates dates and times are mere estimates. We guarantee delivery to take place within 30 business day of the first available for delivery." And they they throw in all the expected weather delays and such. Read More

An absolute disgrace of a moving company. Do not give them a cent of your money. I do not normally give reviews on websites, but my experience was so reprehensible that I have to warn anyone considering using this company. They appear to be nice during the sales and pickup process, but once your items are in their hands and they have half of the money, they do not care about you and will essentially hold your items hostage. Particularly, their dispatch, delivery drivers, and customer service reps will never respond to you. I can't even begin to name everything that went wrong with this move. I feel could write a novel about this experience. Instead, I'm going to just list everything that went wrong in concise bullet points so that you get the picture. After my pickup, there was ZERO communication from them. No emails, no calls, nothing. I called dispatch 10 days after my pickup, and they said my items were already delivered. I told them this had to be a mistake as I clearly did not have my items yet. Dispatch is completely useless and gives me the phone number of a driver who picks up the phone one out of ten calls. ===== THIS SECTION IS ABOUT FALSE COMMUNICATION. THEY GAVE ME DELIVERY WINDOWS THREE TIMES AND FAILED ALL THREE TIMES I finally get a call from the driver on Friday saying that my items will be delivered Saturday between 9am-11am. I'm waiting in an empty apartment for 3 hours and nobody shows up. I call them multiple times, and they finally pick up the phone around 10:45 am and say their truck is having issues. I continuously call the driver for an update, and he finally gives me a text message at 5:25 pm saying that the truck mechanics are saying it'll take an hour At 7:25 pm they told me that it would be best to deliver tomorrow at 8 am NEXT DAY: Nobody shows up at 8 am. I call the driver, he says he is just getting the keys and will be here in roughly 40 minutes. 9:45 am. Still, nobody has arrived. I call the driver and he says his truck is blocked in or something. At this point, I am under the suspicion that the driver is playing games with me and I call him out on this nonsense. The driver yells at me and hangs up the phone on me (absolutely unacceptable). I told them multiple times to alert me when they are getting close. They finally arrive at 12:00 pm noon exactly. There was no courtesy call that they were even on their way, and I had no idea if they were even going to arrive at this point after all the shenanigans. I was staying a couple of miles away and was literally about to go to lunch with a friend, and they call me that they're here. END OF DELIVERY COMMUNICATION SECTION. BEGINNING OF DELIVERY CATASTROPHES. ===== They charged me $389 after tax and cc fee for a shuttle service because they said my apartment parking lot was too small, even though I'm in Texas and I am more than certain they could of fit the truck with a slight bit of effort. They asked ME to drive them TO AND BACK from the Uhaul store to get rent a U-Haul right after they charged me over 300 bucks. They destroyed one of my shelves, and they didn't even tell me about it until I asked about it. Luckily, it wasn't an expensive shelf, but if I didn't ask, they would have never said a word about it. They didn't even bring tools down with the shuttle, so they had to walk all the way back to their truck to get tools. They refused to assemble these simple shelves, even though they disassembled them during pickup. They assembled my two simple Ikea tables incorrectly, and they gave me attitude when I corrected them. I left my apartment briefly (to get them some water), and then I come back and they're already ready to leave. I get to my room, and the table legs are assembled correctly this time but are missing screws. I know they had all the screws because when they first assembled the legs wrong, they had all the screws. Get this. I kid you not. I FOUND THE MISSING SCREWS IN MY FREEZER AND GARBAGE DISPOSAL. I had to get my apartment maintenance to retrieve the screws in my sink. There is no way they ended up there by accident. These are the exact screws that fit in the table legs. You don't find Ikea metric screws just laying around in your freezer and sink GD. This was a deliberate act by them when I let my guard down by leaving the apartment. They left plastic wrap garbage everywhere and a giant mattress box outside my apartment without taking it to the dumpster. They left a large picture box that was someone else's shipment. Now I have this large box sitting in my apartment, and somebody elsewhere is missing potentially priceless photos/paintings. I'm going to do my best to get in touch with the owner of this picture box. ===== That's about twenty different mistakes they made in this move. You be the judge yourself. Absolutely disgraceful. Now to my experience. So like everyone I was a little scared to hire movers, because you hear all the horror stories from everyone's bad experience. Like, they are careless, they break things, they are late, they steal stuff, etc. But my sister recommended BLVD MOVING, she had a great experience with them for her move. So I went ahead and reserved two guys for my move. The day of my move I was going nuts and stressing out. I did not know what I was going to do with my place and pack my stuff. But this is where Richard and Eddie came in a played a big part. Not only did they bring plenty of boxes for me, but they packaged everything else I did not have a chance to box up. These guys were pure professionals, polite, and listened to my needs. These guys were here to work, they got the job done correctly and in a timely manner.
