Terrible experience with long distance move. While unpacking a 1500-2000 dollar tv that was 100% packed by movers, screen was smashed. It was clear the upper portion of TV packaging either had come off during move or wasn’t even packaged appropriately. The company refused to take any responsibility when it was clearly caused by their packing and moving. They have no incentive to taking care of your items if you don’t pay hundreds extra for insurance. So the price they give you is likely significantly less than what they charge for a possibly safe move of your belongings. In retrospect I wish I hadn’t tipped movers as well (tip was significant 20%, and also another consideration that increase total cost. Acceptable for a quality move, but this obviously wasn’t the case) Have already recommended against this company to friends with long distance moves coming up as I wouldn’t consider them. I'm so disappointed. Never in my life could I have imagined it would cost me $2000 and take 10 HOURS to move a one bedroom apartment. This is not including tip & note I was charged over $400 for packing supplies alone. Two of the guys that moved me were so sweet and I hesitated to write this review because I don't want them to get in trouble but overall this company does not deserve your business. It started when they were 45 minutes late for the 8-9am window they told me they would arrive in with no call, no explanation, no apology. I had to call to ask if anyone was coming and had a short phone call with the owner of the company who didn't even bother to acknowledge the mistake on their end. The whole move felt very disorganized, haphazard, and amateur. Again, two of the guys were so sweet but I found myself wondering if they had ever done this before. They were incredibly slow, inefficient, and illogical in some of their choices... For example, everything in the kitchen was wrapped to the extent of overkill - plastic glasses and bottles of WATER wrapped in LAYERS of bubble wrap and packing tape. No wonder it took so long to pack up the kitchen and hence the $400 in supplies! Then other items, some really expensive, like my art, weren't wrapped up AT ALL, but rather thrown all together in a large box completely unprotected, damaging the frames and ripping the backing of my pieces. My dining room table was also chipped in the move as well as the underside of my couch completely ripped open, destroyed. Just can't take a picture of it because I can't move it on my own... They also packed a 12-pack of dr. pepper in the same box as my cookbooks (why?!!). A can exploded and ruined all of the books. After serious sticker shock (again - over $1900) and a much longer day than I had been told to expect they had the guts to call me to tell me they had UNDERCHARGED me $45 and that I owed them money. I responded explaining everything that went wrong -- the lateness, disorganization, overcharging for supplies, extreme underestimation of how long it would take to complete the move -- the man who manages the business told me that in order for them to reimburse me for any of the damage to my things I would need to first pay the $45 they had undercharged. At that point it wasn't even worth it to engage but I feel like I have to warn people about what a negative experience this was. Stay far far away. Read More

Out of protection for THEIR employees, I had to cancel our move the evening before, as we received the results of a positive COVID test in our household. We would have exposed their employees. I text messaged them the night before the move. (No response.) I text them at 6:30am AND sent a message on Yelp to cancel. See threads below. They are going to keep my $60 deposit during a PANDEMIC?! You'd rather we expose your employees. Whomever works for this company....RUN. They clearly put any small amount of money over your well being. I can't give enough praise to Nick and Jake who helped me move my apartment into a storage unit. Not only were their prices very reasonable compared to some of the other quotes I was given, but they were VERY fast. Not only did they take extreme care to wrap all of my furniture and electronics in plastic and blankets (including a 1960s Hi Fi), but when they arrived at the storage unit, they were able to re-arrange a large dining room set and boxes that were already in the unit so they could fit everything into one unit. These guys are master jigsaw puzzle solvers - seriously there was not an inch to spare in the storage unit, and their re-arranging saved me from having to pay for another unit. I would easily give more than five stars if I could. Read More
