UPDATE: My stuff is destroyed. This is what happens when it's loaded and offloaded 6 to 7 times because of subcontracting. This has been a total disaster.
Orignal Review:
A broker, Best Cross Country Moving, assigned me to Moving Kings Van Lines, which then used a company called American Logistics to ship my items across the country.
Lets start off that Nick said every lie under the sun to close the deal. Will my stuff be held in a storage facility? No - That was a lie.
Will my stuff be immediately placed on the truck to California? Yes. - That was a lie
Do you deal with one owner-operator? Yes - That was a lie! (im on a freaking 4th company!!!! WTF)
When my items arrived in Los Angeles, another company picked up the stuff (who knows who they are) in LA to deliver it to my location in San Francisco. As you can see, my items were given to 4 separate companies and of course the final company isn't honoring what the original contract states. Actually, THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A COPY OF IT.
So the delivery day comes, and this guy had my number in the phone wrong and was mad that he couldn't get in touch with me. His wife then calls me and tells me that they are waiting outside for over 20 minutes. OK, Things happen. Then he proceeds to tell me it will be an additional $250 for all the stairs. So I'm like, no, already had this conversation, 1 flight is free, the other was paid for. Then he wants to argue with me telling me that "I don't work for free", ( I literally had a $1000 in my hand to give to him) , his wife argues with me "telling me that they are tired" , then she tells me for 13 extra stairs it will be $155 LOL where is that equation on the contract? Then she tells me that "I should do the math" and figure it out myself. Out of frustration I called my father and got some more money just so they can deliver my stuff and leave.
SO THEN she tells me to Zelle her the money, and when I told her I would need to go to the bank and get the cash she proceeds to tell me that that will be an ADDITIONAL charge because they have waited so long when her husband had the wrong number in the first place!
THEN she tells me SHE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE CONTRACT. She was literally making things up. She said a flight of stairs for 7 steps and my contract says 10. Imagine your stuff being held hostage because of 13 steps!!! REMEMBER I decided I was going to pay for them until she pulled the extra wait fee which was her own fault!!!
Oh by the way, when I called up American Logistics to complain about his workers pulling some shady stuff, he told me "why are you F-ing calling me?" (more expletive language was used). Well, they work for you! You hired them! You moved my stuff across the country! WHO TOLD YOU TO RELEASE MY ITEMS??
NOW ANOTHER RANDOM COMPANY (onto NUMBER 4) has my stuff and is giving me every excuse to not deliver it! Was suppose to come Tuesday, Then Wednesday, and now Thursday!! MY stuff has seem more of the USA than most Americans!
So this new lady is telling me SHE HAS A REVISED COPY WITH MY NAME FORGED ON IT. I NEVER SIGNED A REVISED COPY. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS REVISING AND SIGNING THINGS IN MY NAME!!!
Now im sitting here listening to a driver telling me that he is late because a customer did have the money and he had to wait 3 hours BUT WHEN I WANTED TO GO DOWN THE BLOCK TO THE BANK, THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR A WAIT TIME!
