Don't believe them. Don't use them! Picked up our entire household in a UHAUL. Poor service and terrible move - we cannot reuse a SINGLE box and so many things were broken. Pretty sure most of our boxes were stored on the side, tape missing, rat droppings (and holes in two boxes). I had solid soap that melted (believe it wasn't climate controlled). I contracted a out-of-state move for July 2022. I paid to have my furniture wrapped and padded. The mover (only one guy showed up to move 6 rooms, 2 kitchens over 40 boxes) and did neither although he assured me that he had plenty of blankets to do so. Because I had to have my possesions shuttled from my residence to the tractor trailer truck, I never saw that it had not been done until my possesions arrived at my new home, scratched, gouged and broken (still just one guy to unload everything). Because I chose the cheaper insurance ($0.60/pound) I filed a claim for $360, with pictures and receipts, as required. This company only wants to pay $90 for the damages (the replacement glass alone cost $125!). I am still waiting on the check and it is the end of January. One of the "features" the salesperson gave is that they do not outsource yet, it is obvious, they do not regulate their drivers either. All these positive reviews are fake. But seriously, I don't know who they pay or if Vanessa (customer rep) just writes them all. I would give negative stars if it were an option as we still haven't received our items. Avoid this company at all costs, seriously! It has been 4 MONTHS since our items were picked up on 6/21 in San Francisco and our items have still not been delivered to Virginia and Alltrust continues to provide ZERO timeframe for a delivery date. We are now 68 days beyond our first date of delivery and no date. I call and email this company everyday and can not get a response from anyone on a delivery date. The Customer Rep Vanessa has refused to connect me with the Owner on multiple occasions, no one in sales picks up the phone. This has been a nightmare. They are fully aware that we have been living with our 15 month old child out of 2 suitcases for 4 months now, without a crib, no baby clothing, no furniture, or any of our personal belongings. We are being forced to buy additional winter clothes to stay warm and have incurred significant unanticipated costs due to their delays. Our floors were damaged and admitted by their rep upon pickup (photos) and Alltrust has refused to compensate. They have tried to force additional charges that have required us to obtain permits that have now lapsed significantly that we are out of pocket for. They did not notify us of the day of pickup requiring us to move flights and travel arrangements. We were quoted $8800 in our binding estimate from San Francisco to Northern Virginia that then became $15,567 once packed after they grossly underestimated our things and doubled the cost upon pickup. At this point we were essentially at ransom with flights literally the next morning. This company has struck out at every step of the process and I truly have never experienced anything like this experience in my entire life. We received 2 notices of our date being pushed from 8/14 to 8/24 and then to 8/30 and then NOTHING. No date, just "we will let you know when we have an update". I have been and continue to be beyond unsatisfied with their ability to deliver and it has become an absolute joke. I have completely lost faith in them. This company never could deliver in the first place and I'm unfortunately thinking never will. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Go with literally anyone else. I advise everyone to not fall for the same SCAM I fell for. At first on the phone they are so nice and comforting, the absolute moment they have a single dollar for you, you will never hear from them again. I will save you the story of my personal experience and just leave you with what you need to know. My quote compared to what I paid was almost DOUBLE ($3458 to $4997) for a one bedroom apartment from Illinois to Florida) they didn’t have to move a bed, a couch, or even any else bulky. Not to mention customer service trying to upcharge me an additional $750 for a “shuttle fee”, the customer service rep was insistent that the building was not accessible by the truck, that they had checked google maps and that there was “absolutely NO WAY” (exact words) for an 18 wheeler would fit. Ironically enough, there was a shipping container the exact size and type that the truck had just sitting in the next parking lot, so obviously an 18-wheeler had to fit. That has made me even more doubtful as to whether the rep even really did check google maps and she was dead set on getting as much money from me as possible because Both the truck driver and I knew it would fit just fine. They smashed my office desk to pieces, bent and smashed my lamps, crushed my entertainment centers and broke a custom art piece marked in a box “CAUTION ART DO NOT STACK FRAGILE$$$” there was absolutely 0 to no communication between them and I, and if there was it was because I had to call them 13+ times in order to get a call back ( I will GLADLY post my call logs to even prove this.) once my stuff finally did show up the two man team (an outside company they hire, not Alltrust like they say they are owner operated) rushed all my stuff off the truck and kept saying “just sign the receipt log we have more delivery’s to make” before getting to fully inspect all of my stuff. Plus I never ever got a receipt or list of what they delivered, so absolutely no paperwork to prove what was even moved! The real kicker too, they straight up asked me for a tip after showing me the smashed desk and demanding my final payment in CASH. People do yourself a favor, save your money and go to somewhere trustworthy. I doubt I will see any money back for my lost boxes, smashed furniture, forgotten items. So if you want to loose and or have your possession lost/ destroyed and pay almost double what your quote is for no communication, this is the company for you! Please do not fall for this scam, I would rather strap all the boxes and furniture to my back and walk from Chicago to Florida than ever use this company again. Also I’m about 100% sure all the positive reviews are fake seeing as the people that write them have only 1 review and it’s for this company. I mean you can buy reviews on google, so whoever manages your site, good job, unfortunate your company isn’t even listed with a rating on BBB, seeing as you are less than two years old. I advise everyone to not fall for the same SCAM I fell for. At first on the phone they are so nice and comforting, the absolute moment they have a single dollar for you, you will never hear from them again. I will save you the story of my personal experience and just leave you with what you need to know. My quote compared to what I paid was almost DOUBLE ($3458 to $4997) for a one bedroom apartment from Illinois to Florida) they didn’t have to move a bed, a couch, or even any else bulky. Not to mention customer service trying to upcharge me an additional $750 for a “shuttle fee”, the customer service rep was insistent that the building was not accessible by the truck, that they had checked google maps and that there was “absolutely NO WAY” (exact words) for an 18 wheeler would fit. Ironically enough, there was a shipping container the exact size and type that the truck had just sitting in the next parking lot, so obviously an 18-wheeler had to fit. That has made me even more doubtful as to whether the rep even really did check google maps and she was dead set on getting as much money from me as possible because Both the truck driver and I knew it would fit just fine. Let's begin with the sweet-talking, supportive salesperson, Jacob. I gave him an accurate inventory over the phone, then gave him TWO contents list that was made by other moving companies, one of which came to my house and made their list based on VISUAL inspection. In addition to the contents in the house, I had an additional 40' storage container that was completely full. I also counted and then updated the number of boxes they had underestimated. It is simply not possible for the estimate to have been short by over a hundred percent. This shows that Jacob INTENTIONALLY underbid our move. Once the foreman arrived, it was the LAST we ever heard from Jacob. From the Yelp reviews and endless complaints to the Better Business Bureau, this is their common practice - sales makes verbal promises, then customers are cut off from the sales person once the on-site supervisor arrives and are repeatedly directed to read their contract when Alltrust doesn't' follow through, meet deadlines, or charge you more than double their estimate. The on-site supervisor then bilks several more thousand dollars out of you, then their accounting department (as admitted by customer service) watches for your checks to clear before sending a revised invoice for more than double what you've already paid. Our move was scheduled for May 14-15. We paid a deposit of $3,157, then another $1000 the next day. The Russian English-language-learner was curt with his workers and his entire crew quit and walked off after barely getting started. He placed a stack of BLANK forms in front of me to sign and initial, then began asking for additional checks for $5000 and $7000 without offering any explanation about what it was for. The foreman worked alone for the entire first day, damaging the hardwood floor when he single-handed lay dragged furniture across it. When he returned the next day with Spanish-only workers he was barely able to communicate with them. We had clearly marked which items were going to storage and which were going to the new house. Now all of this is mixed together. They even grabbed a few bags from the luggage that was going in the car with us which contained clothing and medications that I will have to go without until they decide to return our belongings. They took all of my partner's clothes and medications, as well as the remains of three golden retrievers AND MY LATE HUSBAND. This company is LITERALLY holding my dead husband hostage until I pay their ransom. Then his ORIGINAL crew shows up and they have a lengthy screaming match inside my home in the midst of last-day chaos. One of his crew members asked to use my screw gun so that he could remove the office door to move the desk. He then lost the screws and left the door off its hinges. I had to hire someone to rehang the door for $100. They had soon filled the truck and disappeared for several hours. They finally returned at 8pm to retrieve the remainder of my items. After giving the foreman another check at nearly midnight he then informed me that paying by check would mean a 2-week waiting period. My neighbor called the next morning to tell me they had simply left a collection of my belongings on the street and that he saw people digging through it and taking what they wanted from it. The next morning I found their packing materials; bubble wrap, plastic wrap, wrapping paper, tape, and a long trail of my personal effects strewn down the street (see photos). They had also left the glass top to my desk (that they charged me extra for) and other personal items in the house. I had to pay a hauler $225 to come clean up their mess. Now we're completely in the hands of their customer service team. I informed them of our disastrous pick-up experience and they assured me that the foreman had been reprimanded but offered nothing other than an apology. She assured me that once the checks had cleared (which they had by the time I placed the call) they would send my contents to my home. By this time we had paid $16157, already more than our estimate. She then sent me an invoice for an additional $13,399.74 for a total of $29,556.74. When I told Vanessa I would have to pay the balance on two credit cards she refused. There was so very much damage to our furniture, belongings, etcetera that not only would I not recommend them I will actively steer people away from them. They will seem nice up to the point where they get your money and they stay in communication to let you know your bill is going up, but you are better off renting a U-Haul and doing the move yourself. This company was really friendly from the start and was able to work with me with the pickup date. However, getting a hold of anyone regarding the delivery has been rough. Nobody answers the phone or it rings a few times and goes right to voicemail. I'd be happy to 5 star this if someone could reach out to me to schedule delivery. I was told 2-5 March and it is over the FL to TX timeframe. Thank you. Update (shortly after this review) Someone got a hold of me on email and gave me a window of when the driver will arrive. Thank you. Update (21:56 on 3-4-21) Haven't received a call from the driver. I was told they would call 24 hours prior. My delivery is supposed to be tomorrow. Update (3-6-21) The delivery came from a 3rd party, not Alltrust. Boxes were squashed, only 1 person did the unloading. I had to help with the bulky items and I'm a disabled veteran with a bad back. What a disaster! Contracted with Alltrust to move from Florida to Ohio. I have never had as much damage from a move ever. This is the quote from this company "Unfortunately, especially on a long-distance moves damages happen." The driver who delivered in Ohio when finished unloading asked me if I had everything and I asked him if maybe he should be checking off the inventory as he unloaded. Damaged night stand, dresser, headboard, footboard, destroyed a bar stool and completely destroyed a curio cabinet. Their offer for damages was $129.00, what a joke! Another quote from them "That's why we have insurance for free $0,60 cents per pound per article, or we have optional full value protection which is 10% from the stated value of your stuff. I'll attach the second proposal for the full value protection. Which should have been chosen before the move."
