Nightmare! Lucas talked to me on the phone and lied, was rude, disrespectful and arrogant. I told him what I had and he didn't send a big enough truck, so I have to hire another mover to go finish the job. He added another $1000 to my bill, had a fraud hold put on my credit card and told the workers to take my things back to the office. He lied repeatedly, before, during and after. The workers were in agreement and seemed stuck in the middle. As commiserating as they were, they damaged a lot of my furniture, my old house and my new house. None of the boxes marked fragile or glass were handled appropriately. Nothing was sorted to the designated rooms. My sleep number bed was nearly destroyed, my recliner left in pieces as was my sectional sofa, my dresser was left wrapped in a blanket and they ran out of time to do it because Lucas threatened them to get back to the office by 5:30. Lucas had the nerve to call me on my phone and attempted to tell me off, like I had ever raised my voice or cussed at him, but when he said, "Who do you think you are?" I told him goodbye and he called me back to tell me that I couldn't talk to him that way! I hung up again. I won't put up with an employee of mine raising his voice to me or taking that tone and that's what Lucas forgot. He was my employee and I was paying him. And he said he was one of the owners! Due to their neglect, they broke the legs off of the table I inherited from my grandmother. I haven't been able to use my dining room for 6 weeks because they left it upside down on my floor, and they refuse to cover the cost of getting it fixed. Today, they said they would prefer I take legal action. Completely untrustworthy and heartless. I've never dealt with such a bad moving company EDIT: In response to their comment on this, because I do not see a way to respond to the comment: Every word that they just wrote to me is a blantant lie. They have made it clear through their actions that customers and customer satisfaction are very bottom priority to them. They clearly do not care how hard they have made my life and they do not feel I deserve any care at all. First, they screwed up. Then they made ME spend hours of my time trying to find someone to agree to fix it and get an estimate for them. Then they spent weeks avoiding the problem. We were doing a local move - from one end of Georgetown to the other. I have several pieces of antique furniture I inherited from my mom and was most concerned about those pieces. All My Sons was awesome about calming my nerves from the very beginning with my on-site quote from Amy. She reassured me that she would make sure her best guys were on the job and would make sure to pack it safely and securely. On the day of my move, the guys showed up in a bright pink truck (loved it!) and we quickly went over what all was to be moved. When we got to the antique china cabinet, I emphasized my concerns and Jorge was very reassuring and said it would be the last item on the truck so that it could be the first item off (something Amy had already suggested as well). All 3 of the movers were professional, very hard workers, and would interact with my husband and I as we were loading small items into our car. We appreciated the conversation and the laughs throughout the hot Texas summer day from Isaiah, Mike, and Jorge. As the truck started to get more and more full, Jorge approached me and advised that it would be a really tight fit to get the china cabinet in there and we talked about the option of doing a second trip. I fully supported his suggestion (after all, they are the pros) and I’m so glad I did. Sure, it took a bit longer than originally planned - but knowing that the team had enough experience to know when to make the judgement call for what was best for my belongings made me feel so much at ease with making sure all of my items arrived in one piece. I was referred to this company by a complete moron to say the least. I had three men show up and quote me a price that I told them I would be able to pay them for a one bedroom, small apartment. All three of them showed up much earlier than they told me which was fine, I already had everything packed up, they literally just had to move it. DNU! From the beginning, it was a rocky move. I would give zero stars, but that's unavailable. 1. The day prior to the move, I was called and asked if I could move the date back a day. I agreed to do so and was told I would received a $50 discount for my flexibility. This was not on the final statement. 2. They smoked in my "smoke free" apartment complex. 3. When we got to the new apartment, they left their card reader at my old apartment. They asked me to go back while they unloaded the truck, so I did. 4. When I arrived at the old apartment for the reader, I get a call saying they are done. I didn't realize this would be a problem until the boss (Gerardo I believe) called me. His tone was extremely condescending and he said "you are still on the clock". I am not sure why the clock was running when I was doing THEM a favor. 5. When I arrived back to the new apartment, the men had kept my dresser hostage on the truck until I paid. 6. I was overcharged by almost $300! They didn't stop the clock when I was done, but rather when I arrived back from running THEIR errand. 7. I still had 3 trips to do after they finished. Not to mention, I had done 3 trips myself the prior day. I am not sure why more could not have been accomplished in the time I paid for. I was charged $850 for moving a 1 bedroom apartment! Absolutely absurd on the pricing. Do not trust their quote. 8. When I go to turn my TV on that night, I noticed it was completed broken! I checked my smaller one, and that was also broken! Just the cherry on top. 9. I have called them 3 times about being over charged, and I was told I would hear back by EOD. I have yet to hear a peep. 10. The claims department got back to me and will only be reimbursing me $150 TOTAL for both my $600 TV that is less than 2 years old and my $250 TV. I’ve moved 6 different times around the Austin area and this is by far the worst moving company I’ve ever used. They sent me two movers. One of them was working and doing what he was supposed to while the other one was pretty much doing nothing the entire move. I felt like the second guy was intentionally taking a long time to increase my bill. One of the chairs to my table set was damaged. Unfortunately I didn’t notice it till after the 48 hour period. They probably dropped it. They also scratched the wall in my brand new apartment. The one mover tried to leave before he was finished putting back together all my furniture. I had to run after the truck and ask him to reconnect the mirror back to my dresser. He got out of the truck and came back in and reconnected the mirror, but then left all the moving blankets, tape, trash, etc that they used to move my larger items all over the floor. Three men come and we show them what all is getting moved and what they can leave behind for us to move ourselves. They begin and after some time, we go to meet them at our new place. We show them in and they start unpacking everything. They did a fantastic job, or so I thought, and were very friendly. Payment time comes and overall the move took 3-3.5 hours, so I’m expecting maybe $600-800 based on the quote I was given. I should preface that I received no emails or invoice from All My Sons. My payment total was $1067… for 3 hours. I understand that moving is a laborious task and the men absolutely deserved their pay, but the price was so steep for how short the move actually was - in my opinion. Whatever, we paid the fee. The guys left, and we began to unpack all our stuff. It’s been 2 days since we moved in and I’ve since gotten to unpack some of the items that the movers shoved into some of their wardrobe boxes. So far I’ve found that they managed to snap a metal lamp in half, break the frame of a large mirror, and totally destroyed my guitar stand by shoving it into a box that didn’t have room. I understand that it saves time to put things like that into a box and move all of it at once but they didn’t wrap any of it and I find it truly impressive that they snapped my lamp literally in half. Total loss so far is roughly over $100. I don’t intend to pursue a refund, but I figured it would be best to share my experience. All in all, I think the crew is very friendly and helpful but does cut corners when able to get away with it. Payment time comes and overall the move took 3-3.5 hours, so I’m expecting maybe $600-800 based on the quote I was given. I should preface that I received no emails or invoice from All My Sons. My payment total was $1067… for 3 hours. I understand that moving is a laborious task and the men absolutely deserved their pay, but the price was so steep for how short the move actually was - in my opinion. Whatever, we paid the fee. The guys left, and we began to unpack all our stuff. It’s been 2 days since we moved in and I’ve since gotten to unpack some of the items that the movers shoved into some of their wardrobe boxes. I understand that it saves time to put things like that into a box and move all of it at once but they didn’t wrap any of it and I find it truly impressive that they snapped my lamp literally in half. Used this company to relocate me. Once I received my furniture my bedroom dresser mirror was shattered. I did my claim as told. Was told by the movers that they would send someone out to repair or just replace. Never happened. I paid over $250 for this dresser mirror and they only paid me $50. So when I called that’s when she wants to read me the the fine print of what they are liable for under Texas Law but of course never mentioned before hand of hiring them. She stated the $50 check was out of good faith and it could have been $18. I would never use them again and if you have items in your home you care about DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS if you don’t care about your items being broken defiantly use them cause they will break your stuff and will not replace it. There’s the saying fast, cheap or good value pick two. In my case I overpaid, had my appliances and property damaged in both places in addition with have adversarial movers. The only nicety we had is they had an open schedule when other places did not. That should’ve been a red flag… now my fridge is dented. Entryway at my new house had to be repaired. Countless repairs on the interior of the house and we are missing items. I don’t think the missing items were stolen as they were rugs and kitchen Tupperware and other odds and ends I simply guess they were lost. Boxes were packed haphazardly (paid them to pack) I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on that and that is wasn’t the easiest communicating with a few of them. Moving is one of the most stressful events that we try to avoid and plan it only very few times in life. Imagine having a service that is totally unprofessional, that lacks ethics doing your move. Long story short, we did our move from Seattle to Austin and luck would have it. All My Sons Moving was chosen by our moving company as the local delivery team. On the day of the move, the team arrived in the morning(though 1 hr late). To start with they didn't have any floor padding or any protector to move in stuff(seriously?) and this is from a company who states they are Professional. And the next blocker, before moving in any boxes or items, they asked me to sign a paper, and the document had the wording "All items have been delivered in Good Condition". This document was asked to be signed before even moving any boxes outside of the truck, which was totally surprising. "Brian" from All My Son's moving, gave me a call and threatened that they would take the items back if I didn't sign the paper, that the items had been delivered in good condition. I told Brian politely that it doesn't make any sense, how can I sign on a paper that the items have been delivered in Good Condition if the items are sitting on their truck and not yet delivered. Thanks to the original Moving company(Mini Moves), the representative from Mini Moves who was truly professional stepped and insisted Brian and All My Sons moving that they cannot force customer to sign document that the delivery is completed before delivering the item. Finally, the items got delivered. Overall, one of the most stressful mornings I had due to the lack of professionalism, never again with All My Sons moving. I had the "pleasure" of speaking with Pamela Reed. Actually, let me rephrase that, I had the "pleasure" of listening to Pamela Reed. Pamela is flying through what seemed to be a scripted dialogue, telling me about how the company was founded, that they will help me pack, guarantees satisfaction, etc. Again, it is 8:16am on a Tuesday morning and I am waiting for my coffee to cool down. Worried about missing any information, I grab a pen and whatever paper and am jotting down bits and pieces of what she is saying. When she finally takes a second to inhale, I cut her off and ask her to wait and repeat some of the prices. She quickly responds with "don't worry about writing it down, I'll email it to you". Great. Let me just inform you about the unmatched service and family atmosphere that All My Sons Moving Company has provided during my move. I was quoted four hours for a one bedroom 755 square foot apartment. I thought this was a little of a stretch since Little Guys moved me from Dallas to Waco and Waco to Austin in five hours. I agreed to this because I was in a time crunch and knew there was no way it would take that long. I provided a parking area that left a very small walk to get from the apartment to the truck, and an elevator so no stairs were involved. During the move, the two men began taping and wrapping all items, even ones that were in Rubbermaid 18 Gallon totes. I had to step out to go get the key to the new house and unscrewed 7 of the 9 screws on my door, and asked the guys to get the last two. I had told them that we couldn't get the couch in with the door on from the move in date a year ago. When I went to go get the guys water and gatorades, I returned and found my door completely damaged, and half the apartment hadn't been moved. I realized this company is one that doesn't care for their customers and only exists to make busy work, such as mats and taping for no reason. With all this protection for my furniture, I still am responsible for a metal door and now have a broken table as well. For a one bedroom apartment, 3.5 mile move, this company attempted to charge me 950 dollars, 25 dollars more than Little Guys previous two moves. They were aggressive and made me feel uncomfortable the entire move. The supervisor was even more belligerent and I would strongly suggest avoiding business with this company. I should have paid more attention to the other negative reviews before hiring these people. I have moved multiple times over the past 10 years, and never have I experienced such terrible movers! To start, I was quoted that the move would take 5 hours, and it took 6.5 due to one of the two movers being completely lazy and hiding behind the truck smoking while the other other mover did the brunt of the work. Completely unacceptable when you're paying by the hour! We have moved the same amount of furniture several times, and it has never taken this long with any other company. A couple of times I approached this worker and asked for his help while he was standing around just watching the other worker, and he would roll his eyes and get back to work. This was the more experienced (supposedly) of the two and he seemed to think his job was to just stand around and "supervise" the job being done. The biggest issue is that our stainless steel refrigerator was damaged in the move, and the movers tried to claim that they did not cause the damage, even though I pointed out to them that the refrigerator was in perfect condition prior to loading and they verified that verbally. I never thought I would need them to sign a statement verifying the condition of each item before loading it! There is a 5-inch gash on the front of the refrigerator, towards the top, that could have only come from something slamming up against it on the moving truck. All in all, we paid $215 more than we should due to the movers going over by 1.5 hours due to one of the two workers not actually working for a good majority of the day, plus we're looking at paying $450 to have the refrigerator door repaired due to the movers not protecting it properly on the truck.
