It's to make the consumers aware so you may make an informed decision when it comes to hiring movers****** Let me state the facts first: 1. a good amount of my items were damaged and when notified I was told nothing would be done because a magic additional bill for me appeared that just so needed to be paid before I could submit a claim. 2. Scheduled the move for the last day of my storage contract so we could move into our house after settlement unfortunately 3 out of the 2 movers quit(extremely out of shape) with the move taking too long bc it was 4th of July weekend. My items then had to stay in the storage an extra day with the other half the items still loaded in a truck until the next day. This threw my schedule off big time. 3. Talk is cheap until it transcribes on paper. I was told due to that inconvenience my bill would be adjusted and it looked like it was until I reported some items being damaged. I'm not sure how an additional $100 was added to an account that had 3 movers quits, damaged items, was asked to help the movers move items if I wanted it completed the day of contract, and had to rectify the additional storage day bc items weren't moved. Before the last mover left the job he kept saying "boss we are going to make sure this gets done if I have to stay here all night", yet he still didn't complete job and I gave him an extra tip for being so diligent literally right before he then walked off to enjoy the holiday weekend saying "boss this isn't worth it!" 5. If you want to be freed from the headache of moving this company is not the right choice. As a business owner of many businesses I had more conversation and problem solving that made it to me as if I was the owner of this company myself. ****my experience was SO HORRIBLE I will make sure to post this on every review platform**** And for all my son's I've read your other bad reviews and have seen the false written attempts to rectify. DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS. After using them during our move in 2021, we were satisfied with their work and used them again for our move this year. Our experience was COMPLETELY different -- they sent one less guy for the same amount of stuff (if not more), the front man was on the phone the whole time and was lifting large, heavy furniture items and carrying them downstairs BY HIMSELF. They did not wrap our TVs before putting them in the truck, and one ended up broken. Many of our furniture items have dents and scratches that were not there before. AND our three most valuable items (keep in mind, we're fresh out of college), our two complete drill sets and out Nintendo Switch with all of its accessories, were STOLEN. They should not have even put the drills in the truck to begin with, they weren't packed away. I know they stole them because I checked the truck myself when they were done unloading. Now we hear back after submitting a claim and they are trying to give us $175 for our stolen items which total at $870!!!!! INSANE!!! I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and you can bet that I WILL NEVER USE ALL MY SONS AGAIN and I will actively dissuade everyone I know from using them because this whole thing is so messed up. I used them a year ago and had a great experience. Today I moved 10 miles and was told a few days ago it would be a 3 person team at $179 hour! I agreed and then they said you have to pay an extra hour for travel at the same rate and they'd charge me $10 for a mattress cover since it can't be reused. I understood and thought it was reasonable. I moved the majority of it myself- all they had to move was 3 big pieces, a small couch, a TV, and an iron desk- oh and 2 boxes and a Christmas tree! Somehow- when they arrived at the new location I had to pay then and my materials fee was over $250- they charged me for the crazy amount of TAPE they used and mirror boxes for the TV that could easily be reused! There gas expense was 18% of travel AND labor costs! The manager said it was due to INFLATION! Even the guys who moved said they are way over priced and the manager is unprofessional. So disappointing in a company that was good a year ago- oh and my box spring had a protector on it and it's destroyed- so bad that they even damaged the box spring from dragging it! I'm disputing these charges- $1500 for a move that was pretty much complete aside from what was listed is CRAZY & the hidden fees that aren't discussed with you prior to your move aren't right. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience!! Please save yourself the headache and DO NOT USE All My Sons. They will bait and switch you for the cost and overcharge you for materials they never even use. No care was taken AT ALL to wrap or protect them yet somehow I was charged more for wrapping materials for the second move. Our movers that day told us they absolutely hated their jobs and it was the main guys last day because he quit to go work for another moving company and take a pay cut. That's how much even their own workers hate this company. The workers apologized for the damages they caused and told us they would take full responsibility with their managers. But that means nothing when All My Sons finally offered us $160 for the damages. The bed frames won't even move or vibrate now and we are out almost $4,000. And good luck getting anyone in the claims department to ever call you back. This is the absolute worst moving company I have ever encountered.
