I recently used 'All My Sons' for a standard basic move on Sept. 4th, 2023. So you can get an idea of what my move was like, I boxed everything up and color-coded and labeled every box so that way when we got to the location, the boxes could easily be sorted into rooms. I did not purchase mattress bags ahead of time and just opted to use the heavy-duty mattress bags provided by the company. The movers I was provided, Cody and Quinn, were very kind and knew exactly what they were doing. I tipped them $40 each for their effort. They had to carry my couch up three flights of stairs into my new apartment. My move seemed to be priced appropriately. Kameron, Jacob, Geph, and Kriston were our moving team from All My Sons and I can’t say enough about how wonderful they were. They arrived on the early side of their time window, enthusiastic and ready to work. Their attention to detail and expertise in moving our belongings was so appreciated. And they had fun while they were doing it! Moving is stressful for anyone and they made the experience easy and, dare I say, enjoyable. I was also impressed every time I called the office. I used all my sons to move from Pensacola to Pace and I cannot recommend them. They started the move 20 minutes early, so I hadn't signed any paperwork yet. They shattered my brand new 86 inch tv (which they are willing to reimburse $150 dollars for) and they put a hole in my floor (another $175). I don't know where you can buy an 86 inch tv for $150, but that is ridiculous. Two of the four movers (David and Delarreol) showed up high as a kite, so that's probably why all of the damage occurred (I was told they'd be background checked and drug tested). AND they forged my signature on the customer acknowledgement stating that I had reviewed all of my items and reported all damages. They did that before they even unpacked the truck, so how would I review and report all damages? I will be filing a report for the forgery and suing for the damages. This is 100% unacceptable. The movers were very nice, but unfortunately, they did not reinstall the bed slats correctly, resulting in a broken bed. They also caused a large dent in my hardwood flooring, and knocked paint off of the walls. My home was built in 1902, so this is no easy thing to have fixed and in all of their paperwork that they do not actually go over with you, it has you sign that they are not responsible for damage caused to your home, so I am now liable to fix what they have broken. They also only reimburse .60 per pound, so to have them pay me the bed repair would be ridiculous and would not even cover the amount of the broken pieces. Furthermore, they refused to move two of my dressers upstairs stating they were too large, so me husband and I moved the dressers ourselves with no issue. One of the movers asked me if I has stairs at the beginning of the move, and when I replied Yes, he stated “man, I was hoping to not have to deal with stairs”, so clearly they just didn’t want to move the dressers. I had a very bad experience as a first time customer and I have never written a bad google review before for anything. Their own experienced Estimator said it was supposed to be a simple local move that would only need one truck but the crew that came the first day took almost 8 hours just to load the truck partially full. Floor runners and door jams were not used util I insisted after scratches were made in my wood floors. They ran so late that I had to help them unload the truck myself until 10 pm. They did not bring flashlights so we had to unload in the dark which only caused more damage. All My Sons only sent a 2nd truck the following day after I insisted they fulfill their contractual obligation which I had to miss work in order to facilitate. That 2nd crew (Josh and Joseph) did a great job the 2nd day moving the remaining items but the damage had been done. I spoke with both managers James and Brad about the many issues but was dismissively refused any sort of refund for the terrible overall experience. Incredibly happy, impressed and GRATEFUL for the professional teamwork provided by the hardy movers: Donald, Kristy and Tristen. They were prompt, kind, great at communicating/being transparent, considerate and super positive. I'm still in awe, 2 days later, by the fact that they moved my stuff from my 2bed apartment on the THIRD floor to my storage unit 3 miles away, on the SECOND floor - WHILE the beating sun had them all drenched in sweat like a Gatorade commercial. They worked as if they were listening to Eye of Tiger on repeat! Very-experienced: everyone continued to provide excellent suggestions and feedback throughout the move to make it as quick and efficient as possible. My only complaint is that I wanted to ensure they all got a well-deserved tip, but there wasn't a way to do it via card upon payment/without cash in hand. I hired them to move my whole house literally 3 weeks prior to my move was qouted a price paid my deposit and even recieved a email confirmation of the securement and date of our move.. 4 days before our move we got a call from a guy(manager) who at first told me that our scheduled and confirmed date of move with them was now not confirmed and they have no record of our confirmation.. I promptly notified him I was looking at the email confirmation and that we were definatly expecting them to show up on time. Guess what? Now the story changed.. Now their truck was stuck in Ohio with 6 guys and it wouldn't be back until the 22nd of June! (The below picture is on the 16th on airport blvd) when I questioned him as to why they don't have another truck he then told me that the job(wait I thought you couldn't find my confirmation?) Was qouted wrong and they would not be showing up.. I could reschedule for when their truck was back after the 22nd.. We had a deadline of the 18th and paid for the 18th. So the story gets even better I went to the local uhaul and there was a woman there renting a large uhaul because "all my sons had canceled her job too" .. I get that things happen in a business and vehicles break down.. however the lies and decite are just not good business.. Note still haven't gotten my 100 deposit or a reciept for it.. My Mom and Dad hired ALL MY SONS MOVING AND STORAGE to move their belongings from Alexandria, LA to Mobile, AL. They purchased the TOP TIER moving package Which was supposed to be a ‘stress-free’ experience. Well… it was anything BUT stress free. Here is how it was handled: The movers showed up hours late each day. They took two hour lunch breaks along with other extended breaks throughout the day. The 1 1/2 Day expectation to pack their home took three days. And as shown by the pictures they obviously did not take their time to carefully packaged handle their belongings. They literally dumped drawers of stuff in the boxes with no cushion, Did not wrap any of the appliances, decor items, etc.; They just shove them into unlabeled boxes. My mothers beloved grand piano was wrapped in a single layer of Shrink wrap only, The legs were not removed in the body was not protected with anything sturdy. The piano is put in the back of the truck and became very damaged. While moving furniture, every piece was Marred, gouged, scraped.. Along with the wooden floors in their newly- built and designed house. Their front door was damaged in the hole was caused in the ceiling. My dad has been collecting porcelain elephants for 30+ years, And they all are broken because they were not wrapped, Just put in a cardboard box. My parents are stressed, heartbroken, and angry. The chaos, distraction, and sheer apathy displayed By the movers of this company, is, in my mind, near criminal. My mom and dad will now acquire the cost of repairing the piano, the door, the ceiling, And the pine floors that were damaged. What was supposed to be a pleasant move to the next chapter of their Has instead become a depressing and stressful time, to say the least! I am angry for them. I hired this company to move my daughter in August 2019. They quoted me a price and did not stick to it. It was double what I was quoted AND they were hours late to the job. If that wasn't enough they had my $1,000 sleep number mattress out on the pavement. I took pictures of this as it was happening and sent them to the manager who did nothing. The tardiness wasted the time of those we had who had come to help unpack and in fact one person had to leave because her time with us was over. I was so disgusted by the unprofessional way this move was handled. I am disabled and hired them to keep the stress off of me and all they did was cause me stress and I had to worry about finding the money to pay my other bills because they were so off on the quote they gave me when I called.
