If you don't use All My Sons you might live to regret it as I am now regretting !!!! Please take the time to read the full review it might help you from making the same MISTAKE I MADE !! 1. What you get is a solid Quote because they send out a specialist to inventory your belongs. All the others I contacted have you walk through your house listing you belongs to them on the phone. BAD THING TO DO !!! 2. Then you talk to a Specialist like Adam at the Indianapolis Branch who is an OUTSTANDING PERSON !! Even though we unfortunately didn't use All My Sons and got totally ripped off by Master Movers. I needed advise on how to go about dealing with Master Movers over the final price they charged us !! I called Adam and instead of telling me sorry about your luck he took the time to read some emails I sent to Master Movers and also reviewed my quote and final bill from Master Movers and gave me way beyond VALUABLE ADVISE on how to deal with the other company !! 3. I thought I was going to save money like all of us want to and believed the quote from Master Movers was going to be at least close to what my final bill would be BUT yep there's always a BUT right !! All my Sons quote $7100. Solid Quote Master Movers quote $ 2100 - $2400 Final Bill $9800 !!!! Yep that's not a type o !! All My Sons said it would take 2 trucks . Master Movers insisted it would only take one !! Master Movers used 3 trucks and charged me accordingly ! Master Movers showed up day one made me pay up front before they would start the move $4400 long way from the $2100-$2400 quote. Then after we get to our new home they insisted I pay another $4400 before they would start unloading anything off the 1st truck for the 2nd and 3 truck !! Hey you can't make this stuff up LOL !! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH A MOVING COMPANY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! Where do I even begin… I was told they would be at my apartment between 11-1pm and they did not arrive until 3:30 in the afternoon. They did not deliver the items they picked up from our apartment until the next day so my husband and I were forced to SLEEP ON THE FLOOR in our new home. If that wasn’t bad enough when they finally arrived (an hour later than they said) the next morning the movers complained the entire time about having to walk up a few stairs. THENNN because they didn’t come prepared with the right tools they said they were going out to the truck to get something AND LEFT WITH OUR COUCH STILL WRAPPED AND HALF OF THE LEGS STILL ON INSIDE BY THE FRONT DOOR WHEN IT HAD TO GO UPSTAIRS THEY LITERALLY JUST LEFT! Super unprofessional!! When my husband called to speak with Matt who scheduled the appointment and took payment he was told noone by the name of Matt worked there and was hung up on by Ricardo. Well. I thought when the problem occurred it would be handled, but I was wrong. My belongings were moved out of my one bedroom apartment except a large glass crystal display case. As soon as they walked in, it was a “no, we can’t do that”. But mind you, when I set up the appt, a woman had asked me what the largest piece of furniture/item was and we discussed it. Needless to say, I had to leave my previous display case behind because this “professional moving company” couldn’t do it. I’ve moved this case myself twice with one other person: yes, is it hard, yes os it awkward, yes it is a beast. Yet I’m paying $515 to live 1 mile away and you can’t bring one of my most precious items? I called. I spoke to three different people. Apologetic and concerned as they were, nothing was done. Sent out anymore people? No. Hell, even called me back? No. Even the “operations manager” said someone would reach out to me and nobody did. I lost a major item with this company. It's the fact that no concern was shown that I am writing this review. All My Sons was the cheapest bid. The salesperson was friendly and responsive. The staff that showed were courteous and polite. The issue I have is the fact that several items were damaged. Mostly scratched, dents, and chips. This was due to the fact that the items that were damaged were not properly wrapped or wrapped at all. My mattress and box springs were dragged on the floor and now are dirty from the truck floor. Some cude storage units were not wrapped at all and have large scraped and rub marks. Finally the top section of a dresser wasn't full wrapped and the bottom was chipped. That it was an accident or what happen. Well they didn't. I start to organize and go through my stuff. First during the move I was hearing alot of noise like things were being dropped. But they didn't say anything. Then when i look at my couch once it made it to the final destination i noticed one side was really low I figured the may have taken the legs off to fit. But once I lift the couch I notice the screw was there and pieces of the leg. So need less to say they broke 2 legs. Then there were 3 legs that are damaged. One of my dresser look like they dropped it on the corner so it is damaged as well as multiple scratches and dings on varies items. I called them and they said they would call me back. But the more I went through my things the more upset this is making me after spending over 1200 on a move. So I called back and the same guy answered when i gave my name it sent me to the 800 number line with out saying anything. Then the 800 number transfer me back to the Orlando Fl office a different guy answered the phone advised me I needed to speak to claims. He provided the number then transferred me. As I am writing this review I am still waiting for them to pick up I have been waiting so far for 52 mins and counting. Extremely unhappy with this company. I was quoted and told 2 hour minimum was what I wanted but ended up taking them over 4 hours. I felt the quality of service was poor and the service is one huge SCAM it cost me over 1200$ for 3 men to move 2 bedroom and a couch over 4 hours. On top of that was wall and blind damage left behind. On the way to my new location they stopped on the clock to get a drink and caused a time delay. DO NOT use this company (Orlando, Fl area). I’m really upset and puts me as a single father raising a child in a financial issue. I am contacting them regarding this and also I never had a form signed, no paperwork, no contact about the experience, and the price was beyond what I was expecting Please consider a different company. I spoke with two reservation representatives and I was very clear about wanting to understand the pricing. Eventually we came up with a number around $800. I knew this was a best case estimate and I expected it may go up to $1200 at the very most. I was also quoted for 2 movers and 3 movers at the same rate but only 2 ended up showing up. When my total came in over $1600 for a sub par moving experience I was very disappointed. I had a 2BR/2BA apartment moving to a townhome. I had roughly 35 medium boxes fully packed, 1 queen that needed to be disassembled, 1 twin that didn't, a large dresser, a large TV stand and two couches and a few small side tables. I even used my own mattress bags (which they charged me for, I noticed that after the fact) and I had wrapped a couple pieces of furniture myself. It still took over 2.5 hours for them to move my things into the truck, and it was mostly because one of the guys was obviously new and didn't know what he was doing (not his fault, they should have 3 people with new movers). The other guy was great but he basically had to redo everything the first guy did. The newer guy also broke a ceiling light fixture in my new home, scratched my front door and the wall leading up the stairs and into the guest room. They noticed but didn't offer anything, they also told me they did it when they saw me looking at it after I watched them do it. I didn't say anything because it was hot and they were trying despite their obvious challenges. Also, they lifted all my furniture very haphazardly. I was told on the phone that I could leave the drawers full, but my stuff was thrown all over and broken. If they had kept more things upright it would have been fine. Overall it shouldn't have been a difficult move but it took them too long, they damaged my new home, and I was never offered anything or apologized to. Safe to say I wouldn't recommend this company. They have a lot of hidden fees, they don’t quote you accurately and they over promise. You can tell on the phone they won’t answer direct pricing questions. My dresser has marks all over it from them as well. When I called to set this up the guy who helped me made it seem like a great deal because I wouldn’t need to move anything out of my dresser but they charged fees for having a plastic wrap things, honestly such a rip off. They were on time as planned (but not wearing masks and gloves like promised in the contract of service)but showed up to my house with no tools to take the beds and some furniture aparta that when I confirmed they said they would provide everything. I Had to drive to Walmart and buy a set of tools for them delaying my moving since they weren’t able to move the furniture without tools. Being proactive I called the local office and spoke with the OPS manager Chad who was super rude over the phone and cut me off the whole time. I just told him that my time was getting affected since they didn’t arrived prepared. When we got to my new house they wanted me to pay before unloading and noticed in the invoice a charge of $77 of fuel charge that was never mentioned during the reservation process and $79 of supplies. It’s funny that they charged me that amount for protective supplies when they damaged my Bed frame and headboard. I contacted the office again and the same manager Chad spoke with me with the same rude attitude telling me that there was nothing to do and that I needed to pay so his team could leave. He said that they reduced the total work time by 30 min when I reality they got delayed oven an hour for not having the right tools. Terrible company. Promised to blanket wrap all furniture. They did not. Many hardwood items arrived scratched. Assured me they knew how to handle granite, as they are “professional movers.” They did not. One granite table base arrived in at least 25 broken pieces. Could not have been accidental. Granite dining room tabletop was not shipped on its edge, as promised. It arrived still on the table, in 5 pieces. Two pieces of granite are missing. Office manager Chad Berkebile lied during various conversations about how they would care for our furniture.
