I really wanted to like this company after reading the other reviews. But they dropped the ball pretty bad… the movers who helped me were very sweet. But overall, I feel like this move was done pretty carelessly. I have a dresser that was moved- in the bottom drawer was my laptop and paperwork containing sensitive financial information. I walked into my bedroom to find these items scattered on my bedroom floor. I assumed they had fallen out, but to not put them back or offer some kind of an explanation once I questioned them was pretty disappointing. I called customer service and Matt was sympathetic and apologetic (& offered a discount) which I appreciated. However, it didn’t end there…in the dresser were expensive paints that I use as an artist. One of these paints spilled during transport and I was made aware, I was also told that the paint did not get on anything. It did- it got on my antique dresser and also on the floors of my new apartment complex. Also, not to mention, this move was a 6 minute drive down the road from my old place, took way longer than it should have, and cost me over $500 for one bedroom of furniture. I have previously moved from mayport to Southside (30 min drive) using another service and it was significantly less expensive. Overall, poor quality moving service. This was a simple move ,we literally took all the boxes by car but six . They drug thier feet it took almost 25 min to take the first item. They then went to the restroom for 20 min 2x. So disappointed! Based on my experience with this company, I’m not confident my furniture and personal items the team packed will arrive to my new home undamaged. Although there was an inventory list of what stayed with the house and what was being packed for storage, I had to repeat myself multiple times about which items stayed and which should be packed up and stored. Gage, will J, Chris h, Trey, and Brandon were nice, but they seemed to be rushed, couldn’t follow simple instructions, and based on my observations, carelessly packed my items. They even packed delicate lamp shades in the same box they placed the lamps. They didn’t walk through the house to make sure they packed up everything that was to go, and as a result, I stopped them multiple times pointing out things they missed. They didn’t have sufficient supplies to ensure my items were packed and contained within boxes, so multiple items were just thrown into storage. They packed things they shouldn’t have, and forgot things that should have been packed up. See pics of items that were left behind, as well as items that were carelessly packed. I was extremely disappointed in the service I received, especially given the expense of the move, and the assurance I received from Robert, the sales guy, that all of their movers go through “extensive” training and background check, after I shared my experience of my last move which was equally horrible. As is typical, once a company gets a contract signed, they don’t want to hear about any problems, just push you off to someone else. Joe, the operations manager was empathetic, and made sure the team retrieved the items they incorrectly placed into storage, were retrieved and bright back to the house. The team didn’t seem to be happy about it, and it didn’t appear they were careful when getting the items out, so I guess I’ll face additional disappointment when my furniture and such are delivered to my house in a few months. I just wish the people who are providing a service would handle the service as they would want it to be handled. Then, perhaps, they’d understand their customer’s needs and expectations and do the proper job they were hired to do. We've moved about 6 times in our life. We've never had an issue with a moving company. We just moved to FL from NJ in a 26 foot Uhaul that was professionally loaded. Dalton only offered to reduce a fuel charge vs. Sending his crew back to finish the job they were hired to do for 1600. On top of that, they come into the house and start slamming boxes down that have plate ware in them, they lifted a entertainment center upright with an electric fire place insert that did fall out of the brackets and nearly fell out of the entertainment center altogether. Thanks to them, I have major scuff marks and scratches on the wall going upstairs that I will have to fix, in addition to scuff marks on the floor. Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong with this move. Absolutely terrible company to work with and would never recommend anyone. The workers were amazing, very professional and took great with my belongings. However, when it came time to unload the truck their process to have the customer pay the bill prior to unloading. Terrible service. I used All My Sons to move my things out of one 3 bedroom house into another in the same town. When I called to request service, I received excellent customer service and they were more than happy to talk to me and answer all my questions. On moving day, 3 movers arrived and disassembled the necessary furniture pieces and loaded those along with some boxes into the truck. They did not have their own tools (which seems like a thing you'd want your movers to have?) but luckily I had the allen wrenches needed to disassemble the beds. We arrived at the new home and I told them exactly where to put everything (e.g. "put the wardrobe against this wall"). When they were done, I signed what I needed to sign and they left. Over the next several days, I noticed many serious issues with the move. The first issue was the wardrobe. I told them to put it "against the wall". But the wardrobe was several feet away from the wall, and furthermore was not even straight. This wardrobe weighs a lot and is way more than I am able to move, so I could not move it against the wall on my own. The second issue was the bed in the master bedroom. The bed was also away from the wall, and assembled completely wrong (see photos), and one side of it sank as a result. I had to fix this issue myself. But again, the wardrobe was something I could not fix, as I am a small single woman. So, I called to see what they could do. (Mind you, this move was incredibly expensive - over $1000 - to move from one house to another in the same town.) When I called, they were incredibly rude to me. The customer service I had received before had totally vanished - now that they had my money, the manager Tony could not even be bothered to take my call, even though I repeatedly asked to speak to him. His "assistant" told me there was nothing they could do, that they did not even have an office in my location (Gainesville) - this was the first time they told me this. Their closest office was in Jacksonville, and if I wanted them to come move the furniture that they had not moved correctly the first time I would have to pay for an entirely new contract. When I pushed back, I was told that I should have checked their work before they left. Maybe so; however, I was in the process of a divorce and moving out of my home so needless to say it was a very emotional day for me. I trusted that the company I hired and paid a lot of money for could follow basic instructions like "against the wall". Also, if I was supposed to quality check their work, I would have appreciated it if one of the movers told me to check before they left. The worst moving company I've ever experienced! TOTAL RIP OFF. DO NOT USE THEM. I moved for a one bedroom into a storage unit. That was located less than 2 miles from my apartment. I literally have less than 20 pieces of furniture to move. They sent three guys. One older guy and two young teenagers. They took their precious time. Wrapped my furniture only to scrape up the ends of my brand new sofa. The two younger guys didn't have a clear direction as to what to do. I asked what the hold up was, the older guy said that he's training the other two. Like what in the hell, so I'm paying for trainee's. The older guy was sketchy, every time he was upstairs alone he mentioned a tip and even had the audacity to say "if you do tip don't do it in front of the other two boys". Then spoke about the tip again at the storage unit. Seriously! For my small one bedroom room it took three guys 5 hours. Not to mention, the unprofessional company charged over $800 and when I called to speak with a manger (LAWRENCE) he was absolutely no help. In fact stated there was nothing he could do. Because of my work I've moved 6 times in the last 5 years. This is the WORST moving company I've ever dealt with. If you must use this company know 2 things that are guaranteed. 1.
