The three movers were not wearing masks during the entire move after I was told they would be prior to the move. Raul broke my wife’s lamp during the move, he apologized and took pics for the claim but nothing has been done about the broken lamp since we moved in April. The dolly that the other two young gentleman were using scratched/gashed our brand new apartment floor as they were unloading. I was right in front of the man when he unloaded the top half of my couch to the floor and then the dolly scratched the floor. Raul said the dolly didn’t do that and that the scratches were already on the floor. I had already had the keys to the new apartment for 3 days and made several walk throughs, we did not have scratches/gashes of dolly marks before. After that incident they then used only one dolly to unload the rest of the truck when they had two dollys the entire move. They basically milked the clock as much as possible while moving into the new apartment. ONE guy Raul was using the dolly to take stuff out of the truck while the other two stayed in the truck. I then re asked Raul if he had taken pictures of the gashes on the floor from the dolly and he said no that it was not their fault. We moved from an upstairs apartment to a downstairs apartment in the SAME complex. This move took over 6 hours and we payed over 1,000. No follow up from management. Highly recommend going with another company. Very disappointed overall. The price quote more than doubled when it was all said and done. The initial quote was $1962. We signed after the estimate and placed a deposit of $250 to hold our reservation. Like most things in life that plan had to be changed and we pushed the move to 2/27/2020. In between our initial estimate and new move date we sold all pieces of living room and family room furniture. This included a 17 foot sectional sofa, 8ft x 6ft entertainment center, 4ft x 4ft ottoman, a 3 seat sofa, 2 seat love seat, decorative chair/ottoman set, 3 end tables, 2 sofa tables and a coffee table. On 2/15/2020 that is when I spoke with Nate (operations manager) to push back our initial moving date and make him aware of the changes. It was during that call that I asked Nate if he would like to come out to do a second estimate. He declined. The day of the move the crew did NOT bring tools to disassemble/reassemble the small amount of furniture left in the home. My husband was forced to unpack his personal tools for the crew to use. Nate called to check on the crew and I informed him they arrived without tools. What he did with that information is unknown to me as he made no attempt to make it right on my end. We quickly filled the 26 foot truck that was sent to our home. During this loading period my husband was repeatedly told by the crew that if things were not in a cardboard box they would not be loaded and that if it was not on the inventory the belongings would not be loaded. I made a call to the office to try and rectify this matter. During this conversation I patched my husband in on the call. Things became heated and my husband felt disrespected and threatened and he retaliated verbally. While it is not excusable, it may be understandable. We were in a vulnerable position. We only had one day to exit our home and when all of the sudden we don’t have enough space for all of our things in the moving truck. Then when asked how much more this could possibly cost we received a snide snort and laugh followed by “I don’t know at this point”. Obviously, that answer wasn’t acceptable to us. When we protested we were told that Nate would call his guys right now to unload our belongings into the lawn. After that, I think my husband’s reaction was warranted. But I digress. My husband apologized and we were able to come to an understanding. A second truck was sent. It was near this time my husband sent me a text that the crew had run something into the door. I asked if the doors were padded and it was then that I realized the image I had been sold during the estimate was completely false. I sat and watched a slideshow with the estimator showing the care the company would take to protect my home(s). This was a lie. My husband had to ask them to pad the doors but apparently the damage had been done. You will see photos on the attached pages. I sold my home to a young couple with damage that was not there when they originally offered on the home. What a shame. Thankfully, even with no tools, miscommunication, damage, and lack of space we were able to be loaded and out of the home. At the end of the day I confirmed via phone that we would have keys to our new home between 1:00pm and 1:30pm on 2/27/2020 and drop off should be scheduled for close to that time.The next day came and we were ready to receive our belongings. At 2:21pm I called the office to ask about a drop off time. I was assured the crew was in the office and would be headed our way shortly. I called again at 3:20pm when I hadn’t heard anything and was told they would be leaving in 20 minutes. At 4:16pm I was called by the crew to announce their departure from the office. When the crew finally arrived we had to request (again) that doors be padded. The quote that we were given Was very reasonable at the time. We put down a deposit and were informed that this deposit would be applied to fee of the move like gas and materials. The morning of the move they were late, and when they came the guys were very professional and kind but they stated that there we fees associated 16% for gas and another percentage for materials we called the office and talked to Amanda and she confirmed that these fees were paid for with the deposit. Cool the night before the move I had wrapped everything with drawers and doors so they would be safe to move. Not once were we given notice that each piece of furniture was going to be triple wrapped and then unwrapped upon delivery this added an extra 4 hours. We had to call for a third guy because we were 4 hours in and only half of the apartment was packed. If we had been informed that this is how they work and there is a possibility of them adding time due to this we wouldn’t have picked this company. So we think the apartment is pack except for a few little things that my wife and I can grab mind you we are racing the clocking trying to get them to move some of this stuff .5 miles down the road. I get a call from my wife they charged us $1600.00 that we had to pay before they would continue to unload some of our stuff so now the movers have been ordered to stop moving things until we pay and Stephen told my wife that if we didn’t pay it would go to a warehouse until the amount was paid, we had been quoted 5hrs max at $99/hr for two guys. It took them 8 hours to move a two bedroom apartment, we did have things go to storage guess how long that took 30 mins to unload. So after all of the tears and everything we go back to apartment and what do we find a large number of things that were supposed to be moved and I know they moved them around like my sons dresser and tubs that were in his room were left at the apartments so if you want to pay $1600.00 for you to move your things go with this company. Posting for her. So I literally had the worst day today !!! So I hired movers cause I moved to a new place... I was quoted $109.00 an hour with a deposit of $100 that was going towards the balance.. they literally charged me for 4 1/2 hours for 2 hours of work! When I got my total I called the office and was yelled at by the manager when I asked if I could talk now I said 3 words and he began to yell over me again. He then told my husband that he was going to have his guys leave with my belongings.... I finally said screw it paid them the additional 502.00 to get my furniture and when they brought it up they were advised by the manager to just get it off the truck and leave it .. so they did bring it inside but everything was left in the middle of the rooms ... NEVER WILL I EVER DO THAT AGAIN!!!! Don’t go to All my Sons moving company!!! Mind you I moved from Weber and Holly to Weber/tiger ln. and was charge almost $80 in fuel and $90 travel time for a 3 min. Drive!!!!!!! Read More
